gotcha.. please delete..
Yeah, I've already traded my average down to about $3.15 now. I'm hoping to just get out even or at a slight loss at this point.
CYCC - Don't understand why folks panicked on the news. I think every one expected it and not only that, but it's actually a very small offering. The stock has traded 1.8M in PM already.. almost half the amount of the offering size lol..
Some folks will never learn I guess.
CYCC Pre-market is looking very promising. My ass isn't as puckered up as it was over the weekend now haha. I was pretty confident this things had some momentum left in it. Not every day a Biotech releases peer reviewed information that provides hope for a very niche group of Lung Cancer patients.
One last comment..
And why can't they get on the OTC-BB after many months of trying?
They are not "trying" to get to the OTCBB, nor have they been "trying" for months. They are "piggy back" qualified, they don't need to "try" anything, they will automatically be approved once meeting the minimum requirements. You do know what "piggy back" qualified means right?
With that said, it is obvious you are not familiar with the process of filing with the SEC, or the manner in which a Company must conduct PCAOB audits. There are certain audit and legal costs associated with filing. For those of us very familiar with the process, it is obvious the company is simply streamlining the audits and saving money in the process.
The hardest part is completed, 2006-2007 audits moved the company from China accounting to GAAP. 2008-2009 will be relatively quick and painless.
Due Diligence..
Embrace it..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Due_diligence
Your not going to find what you are looking for on a message board. It takes a little effort on your part if you wish to obtain answers to your questions.
I conducted my due diligence long before the 2006-2007 audit was released. http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/replies.aspx?msg=35435752
I also already asked the CEO why the hold up. His explanation was quite simple, they had a delay completing the 2006-2007 audit. It would have made no sense to move forward with the Form 10 filing so close to the end of the year. It costs a lot of money for China companies to be audited because the American audit firms must travel to China. Instead of having to conduct two audits within a 4 month period (Initial Form 10, then Form 10-K for 2009) they opted on waiting until 2009 to complete both 2008-2009 in tandem.
You might know these things if you took the time to find the answers..
Again.. you will never find complete DD on a message board.. you must find it on your own.
I noticed that too..
When I saw that 40% was institutional holdings, then I started seeing 50K blocks going off.. I decided it was worth the risk.
Took a hefty position.. 30K @ $3.35 ave
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=45291834
I see two outcomes.. I make a decent profit on this, or I have my first tax loss set aside for all the gains I'll make in China small caps in 2010 lol..
Nah.. holding 30K right now..
I'll be happy with $4 lol.. I have my "truck loaded" for better or for worse..
It's basing, hard to catch a bottom on these stocks. I probably started buying a little to early.. but $3.35 average I think I'll do okay.
If not.. always could use the tax write off for next year. To many shares traded for this not to keep advancing. Highest dollar volume of any stock under $5, it's going to get some attention. Buzz just getting started I would imagine.
I saw institutional buying..
Big blocks throughout the day 50K +.. I'm thinking this one has some momentum left.. Loaded 30K $3.35 ave.. Hopefully I don't loose my ass haha..

SIAF at least 40K short..
IB had 40,000 to short a few days ago. Yesterday it was 6,000 and today there are no shares available..
Someone is short 40K ahead of Monday's CC..
SIAF at 52 week high.. blue sky break
SIAF volume pre-CC..
Leads me to believe we might not see the normal sell off that accompany a CC. Also based on the size of the blocks, I imagine we are now changing the shareholder base over from the penny stock crowd who picked it up well under a $1 and it is now moving into more stable hands.
Have a good trip bud!
It's from land rights..
Once they get a different auditor who will actually take the time to value the land rights properly, that goodwill will probably go away. That might even gain value on the Goodwill write-offs the auditor forced in 2006-2007 in regards to land value.
SIAF High 20s low 30s, guess we find out Monday.
When you understand market dynamics a bit better then we can revisit this topic. For now, you'll just have to trust me that you just need more buyers and interest here.
You can not manipulate a market if there is one. Only when there is no market, can you manipulate. EXPH has no market currently. Just a few die hard longs, a couple of bottom feeders and a few message board drama queens.
This board is the stocks worse nightmare. JD needs to quit worrying about what you guys think and do whats best for the Company.
Anytime you inject inexperienced people, playing with money they can't afford to loose, betting on a game they honestly don't know how to play.. you are going to have the emotional associations.
Just my 2 cents..
It's funny reading this board. You guys really do spend a lot of time trying to figure the obvious out. It's called supply and demand. When the demand is higher than the supply, the stock will go up. Right now the supply is greater than the demand and the price is depreciated..
Mother ships, market makers, conspiracy theories and late night conversations with the CEO are not going to change an economic dynamic as old as the stone age..
If not shot down by an F-15 lol..
Why are you guys so concerned with what MM routes your orders? EXPH is a pinksheet, all orders are "unsolicited". Doesn't really make a difference honestly.
Now if you had done an aileron roll through both goal posts I would be impressed.. but this however is just boring..
hahah...
Scheduling 1 hour flight time in a 152 - $70

Awesome, let me know when you get the auto response.
Manipulation is the act of creating a false market through matched trades and wash trades. Since I executed no trades impacting the market you in essence are wasting taxpayer money and one reason why the SEC rarely ever deals with OTC markets because they are bombarded with frivolous complaints just like the one you just sent. Here is the regulation btw..
Section 9(a)(2) of the Securities Act of 1934
http://www.law.uc.edu/CCL/34Act/sec9.html
1. For the purpose of creating a false or misleading appearance of active trading in any security registered on a national securities exchange, or a false or misleading appearance with respect to the market for any such security, (A) to effect any transaction in such security which involves no change in the beneficial ownership thereof, or (B) to enter an order or orders for the purchase of such security with the knowledge that an order or orders of substantially the same size, at substantially the same time, and at substantially the same price, for the sale of any such security, has been or will be entered by or for the same or different parties, or (C) to enter any order or orders for the sale of any such security with the knowledge that an order or orders of substantially the same size, at substantially the same time, and at substantially the same price, for the purchase of such security, has been or will be entered by or for the same or different parties.
An insider filed a few weeks later indicating that they had sold all of their shares, millions of them.
You just contradicted yourself. It appears by your own statement that the market maker was in fact carrying out an order.
All market makers do is sort and execute orders. Trust me, on EXPH, a stock that traded under $10K in dollar volume, there is no one sitting at some trading desk at a firm making a market in this stock..
It is just automatic electronic routing.. this is the pinksheets.. all order are basically "unsolicited".
If I did that.. why would I just give away "my secret" lol..
No, Taki.. I don't mess with these sub penny stocks. I spent almost 10% of EXPH's dollar volume today in commissions lol..
No professional trader uses Level II to make buying decisions. You use your real time charts and T&S to make buying decisions.
Level II is used for one thing and one thing only.. placing orders.
Message boards have been used for years to try and make penny traders think Level II's somehow show strength or weakness..
That is simply not the case as I just demonstrated. If I had stock in EXPH (which I do not) I could have placed 5 MM"s on the ask side with just 5,000 shares each and made it look very weak in attempt to shake people out. Or make the bid look strong in attempt to bring buying in... it is all 100% psychological.
Level II's are just tools used by folks in conjunction with message boards in an attempt to swing the market..
Yep.. Message boards are used to spread stupidity. Any trader with an ECN can route multiple MM's. You don't need to be a "MM" lol..
I routed 5 MM's with only 5,000 share order.. sure looked strong though didn't it.. in reality there was only 25,000 total shares there. 95% of what you read on message boards if bullcrap.
Here is a picture of my platform just for giggles.
It is now 15:46
I have routed 5 MM's at .0028.. with less than 5,000 share orders..
MM's don't do anything.. that is message board urban legend..
Market Makers do not do anything...
Retail does..
I will demonstrate it is now 15:43 I will route a few MM's just to show you at $.0028
Then you get the famous message board posts..
"OMG look at that bid.. it's going to explode any minute!"
Your adding "liquidity" to the MM's order book. When someone executes a sell on the bid.. or buys on the ask.. the MM has to pull shares from his order book and fill your order.
By placing an order at the bid to buy.. or sell on the ask.. you are not forcing the market maker to execute a trade. Only when someone buys from your ask.. or sells to your bid.. the other person is the one executing the trade. Thus all you are doing is adding to the MM's inventory.. hence "adding liquidity".
Market orders? Oh lord no.. A day trader never makes a panic buy or sell. You know your entry's, exits and limits before you even make trade.
Not OTC no.. but listed yes.
Shhh don't tell anyone.. but if I'm in a OTC stock that is thinly traded, I sometimes add a couple of extra MM's to either make the stock look weak.. or strong depending on which way I want it to go lol...
Amateur penny traders put to much emphasis on L2's.. a person with an ECN can route multiple MM's to give that "stack" appearance. L2's really are used for order execution.. your real time charts and T&S are the tools you use to determine buys/sells.. not L2's.
Ever seen that penny stock where the bid or ask melts away on tiny little 500 share blocks??? heheh That's an ECN trader playing mind games with the noobs.
No opinion, I imagine they are probably very similar to all the other ones. Scottrade is the fastest retail only because they have an exclusive route through NITE.
Times like that is when I love my ECN lol..
I jump right in front of everyone lol..
The fee structure is pretty simple. You pay $7.95 per trade plus ECN fees if any.
Here are the ECN fee break downs for my particular trading platform..
http://www.nobletrading.com/commissions_fees.php
An Example:
Lets say I am trading stock XYZ. The bid is $1.00 and the ask is $1.05.
Most market makers do not charge an ECN fee if you "add liquidity". What that means is, you are buying stock at the bid, or selling stock at the ask. Removing liquidity is when you sell on the bid, or buy on the ask.
So if I buy 10,000 shares through ARCA of XYZ and I pay the offer price, I am removing liquidity. So I am charged $.004 X 10,000 shares + $7.95 or $47.95 total cost. If I want to use ARCA but not pay the ECN fee I must always buy on the bid.. sell on the ask.
Now, the purpose of an ECN is to give you "direct access" to a number of market makers. Pretty much all orders through retail brokers must first get processed through the broker.. then on to the MM. This causes delays, especially if the market is moving fast. Your brokers system can get overloaded etc..
Retail brokers do their own clearing for the most part, that is why they must first route the order through their system, then place it with the MM. Also in most cases you don't have a route choice.
When using a direct access system, you route directly to the "order flow" or "book" of the market maker you choose. Your platform records the trade and passes it on to your clearing house which is processed later that night. (Nobletrading uses Penson)
A major advantage of direct access trading is that you can route directly to any market maker you wish. If there is one particular MM that is very active on a stock, you can route directly to that MM for fastest execution. They will not put your order into queue like they do retail, you get priority over retail. So in a fast moving market.. it can sometimes mean the difference between a profit or a loss.
People serious about day trading need every advantage they can get. Retail brokers simply do not have the tools, or execution to beat an ECN. They are fine for regular traders/investors but when you are making 100's a trades a day for $.01 spreads for $50 and $75 trades.. you need fast execution. Your selling almost the minute you buy in some cases.
Etrade has the slowest execution times of any discount broker I have ever tried.. and I have tried them all.
TDA is okay.. Scottrade probably has the fastest executions of any retail discount broker..
After using an ECN/Direct access platform, I don't think I could ever go back to using retail. It would be like going from Cable to dial up lol..
It's like playing an online first person shooter.. ECN is like the "low ping" bastard running around head shoting all the dial up guys..
