You just contradicted yourself. It appears by your own statement that the market maker was in fact carrying out an order.

All market makers do is sort and execute orders. Trust me, on EXPH, a stock that traded under $10K in dollar volume, there is no one sitting at some trading desk at a firm making a market in this stock..

It is just automatic electronic routing.. this is the pinksheets.. all order are basically "unsolicited".
