PR on Kroger distribution - nice! Happy for Lester and Chillin - no storming of the HQ today...
Thanks for all the info SpaceLady
Great analysis Snapback- thanks.
Agreed - it will be interesting to see how many of these shares get sold. I am not sure how to figure that
With 40 mil cash on hand and new acquisitions bringing revenue 2nd half of this year, I may be buying more under 3 here. They came to market at the top and have slid down the past two months with the sector.
Is it cheap? Seems to be back to pre-CBD in CVS announcement and still higher MC with lower rev and profit than TCNNF. I am in both, but honestly trying to figure out their advantages.

Snap - I appreciate your good analysis. I think the multiple is high for now. Not sure what it will take to allow that to expand to 30, 40, etc.
Very few MJ even have earnings and we could be close to $1 per share this year. Awesome
Hope you are right JohnCM, I have been buying more in 10's and (kind of) enjoying getting them here. Its my biggest MSO by far. I am still worried in mid-term about Kim's husband and lawsuits, and the unlock of 76 mil shares in voluntary lock-up (if memory serves) in July. Could keep us hungover for the summer perhaps?
What will Annual Meeting bring next week? Any thoughts on reveals of plans or updates? Or stay muted until FDA comments over and let them speak first?
Thanks Mellow- nice analysis in that article. My favorite line:
"Trulieve, on the other hand, looks like it’s out-classing everyone else on the page, because it is. We’ve got a more detailed look at why anchoring an up coming post, but this absolute CRUSH on the top-line is enough to demonstrate that TRUL knows something about this business that their peers don’t. TRUL is also the only cannabis pubco anywhere posting a BOTTOM line profit consistently. The market’s hivemind is having trouble confronting that, because it could shatter some important paradigms that bind its very fabric."
I don't see the bottom until low 9's maybe, high 8s? Will surprise us to the downside on the crappy otc still
Interesting news from HRVSF and CBD distribution deal. They are aggressive but I am not sure the quality of their products or if it will fly when FDA clarifies their CBD approach starting in late summer. Would be nice to know if CW and/or big reputable retailers are waiting for FDA clarity later this summer. Convenience store owners don't care... that's where we all would buy beer underage :)
General - do you mean HRVSF CBD distribution? Interesting - has CBx or Colors ever been tested? This may be short term good for them, but I am curious to see how their product holds up. They claim $10b of $22b cbd market could be in convenience stores.
Good morning: Ugly couple of days, sorry to those just getting into CBD and CVSI this spring. FWIW with over a year of DD, I trust in this growing, profitable, debt free, well positioned, market leading company in emerging sector that will be worth 10s of billions and will soon be chasing crappy, weak companies out. I also think that the environment of global markets, recession looming, fda short term uncertainty etc - will make things ugly here and across CBD for the summer. I fully expect to see CVSI in mid-low 3s on a big flush of all retail hoping for a get rich quick before we start back up. RSI on 1 year is lowest about to go below 30. It seems oversold and despite that I've come to expect on OTC, that it will still go significantly lower. My guess is well under $3.50 (at least intraday) before value is too strong. 3.13 would be 50% down from high in late March and would be a lower close than pre-citron. I'm just glad this is in my retirement account and I have a while before retiring :) GLTA esp to long steady posters.
Seymour mentions CBD companies coming to NASDAQ and NYSE in next couple of months at 3min mark and at end mentions companies with no cash and losing money will be falling soon with no ability to raise money in a bad market.

Hemp Roundtable testimony today https://hempsupporter.com/fda-update-insider-access-to-todays-fda-hearing/
Super- this is where he says they have been working on the legislative route in case FDA defers to congress. At least the effort has started, but that could be held up a long time too if FDA punts.
CVSI's Duffy McKay's testimony - mentions CV Sciences submitting the published research; as of 3:50pm I had to rewind 1hr 30min to get to his testimony - good statement on differentiation of ag commodities vs pharma; hemp extract is significantly different than isolate; went on to assert CVSI has studied and will share; got a big round of applause and many good questions from the panel at the end. Was quite impressive.
thanks Jefra - they addressed it at the hearing too:
Isolate vs. Full Spectrum vs. Broad Spectrum
2:08 p.m.—Another theme today: The CBD industry’s evolving and confusing terminology. Josh Epstein from the CBD manufacturer Socati addresses it head-on: The FDA should require companies to be certified through third-party validation, he says. But right now there’s not even agreement on terms.
“How can you validate that a product is THC-free, or full spectrum, broad spectrum, or isolate? There’s no agreed-upon standard. The FDA should establish this standard.”
This is extremely clear and helpful testimony, and the FDA officials seem to recognize that. Several ask Epstein to follow up and tell them what those terms do mean, at least to him.
Epstein says: Isolate is pure CBD without any other component. Full spectrum CBD contains a suite of other cannabinoids and terpenes, including residual amounts of THC. Broad spectrum CBD is full spectrum CBD minus the residual THC.
“You can imagine the challenge in creating a standard in a product that varies like that,” one FDA official said. “If you have ideas, it’d be useful for you to submit them to the docket.”

Ania - good to see you here too. I am already in CURLF but will avg down if this gets that low for sure. That was the day CVS news came out I think. If the market discounts this below that, I'm buying more.
McKay speaks this afternoon sometime after 1:30 - full schedule

FDA live
Feel like today is going to get much more red. I'm adding here in TVIX at least through 3pm...
God help us if we have to wait on and trust this congress and the dear leader for farmer tweet bailouts- I'm sure hitting Mexico will help that too. That's not capitalism.
I'm hoping FDA gives an accommodative tone to reputable players today, sharp tone to fly-by-night/never-studied-their-"CBD"-content companies and gets out of the way come August.
Thanks Jefra - I think Mid-August is reasonable since FDA public comment period is through July 2 I think. Also, can you explain what is the difference of isolate (pharma - which would affect our smokeless gum plans I think); and supplement +Gold etc?
On the PR basis, I do hope there are a lot of strong positive support comments put out today. Like Ania I passed my 1 year CVSI investor stage in early May, and been through some really interesting shit the past year! Looking forward to the next year. Go CVSI
Tomorrow's hearing thoughts https://www.cnbc.com/2019/05/30/fda-kicks-off-review-of-cbd-at-first-public-hearing-friday.html

I think I am expecting too much of a positive outcome tomorrow. Reading the format and the open period through July 2 makes me think markets will keep CVSI and other CBDs flat for quite some time. In fact, I won't be surprised with some of the anti-CBD comments to be aggressively shared by shorts after the hearing tomorrow.
Accd to Etrade, rev in Q4 was 32mil and there is one analyst expecting 35mil for Q1 today. Is that in line with what others are expecting?
Sector all red today. Unfortunate to take off the fun of the great news.
CW Relative strength in a sea of MJ red today. That's good(ish).
#1 and most profitable https://www.newcannabisventures.com/cannabis-company-revenue-ranking/
look at Trulieve on this chart and go over to Adjusted Operating income. Seems straightforward to me.
Great numbers - and great guidance that they will exceed (again.) I like how this company is managed and growing. Can't wait to see MA, CA, CT come on line... Congrats Trulievers - lets have a rewarding week
and get the earnings out on time this time too...
It seems to me that the Safe Banking Act may be a trigger to allow NASD and NYSE to list US CBD MJ companies. I think this is a huge catalyst for this sector that keeps chugging along quietly. California house passed a state version of this yesterday and US House had a hearing on it yesterday; it keeps gaining co-sponsors from both sides of the aisle. https://www.marketwatch.com/story/push-for-legislation-allowing-banks-to-serve-the-cannabis-business-is-gaining-momentum-2019-05-20
Trulieve also did a voluntary lock-up this winter. I can see these being confidence building and stabilizing for some time, but fundamentally companies will grow on good management and rapidly growing revenues. That is what i'd like to hear next week.
someone loaded millions of shares in minutes. I have been adding in low 22's and put another batch in in 22.90s... I think the good will of canada is gone and meaningless and we are left with a weekend of uncertainty. Are people remembering last weekend and starting to load and hold?
Seriously - we need SAFE Banking act soon
Hope you are feeling better DarthYoda - we appreciate your input here.

Coca Cola is in Georgia... I see a test market ready to go :)
