Perhaps a bit of a boring stock, but ever since the big break higher in Nov 2013, this has been one amazing trend higher.
Wake up ATRM investors, your stock is making a monster move here this morning!
XHB had a perfect move off the lower channel below $32 at the end of March.
Definitely a strong move over the past week.
@Zephyr, have you looked at possibly using the new groups feature at http://www.hotstockmarket.com/ ?
Modern forum layout, more focused on mid and large cap stocks, this is what the groups look like http://www.hotstockmarket.com/groups/popular/
MSFT weighing heavy on the tech sector today along with GOOG.
ANR nice break higher today after a long consolidation period, currently hitting +6%
Has Elite Swing Trades looked into a starting a group on HSM?
New Groups feature recently launched:

Clean, modern forum format. Less clutter.
Yeah, rough open here and sellers really slamming it into the first hour.
Is that a bad tick on this chart or did something spike LATF back in Feb?

Nice move for ANR this morning. Long consolidation and pop here.
Tough break for BKS this morning.
(Reuters) - John Malone's Liberty Media Corp is slashing its stake in Barnes & Noble Inc by 90 percent, three years after it invested $204 million in the struggling U.S. bookstore chain and its then promising e-reader, the Nook.
Barnes & Noble shares fell as much as 10.7 percent after Liberty is selling down its holding to around 1.66 percent from its previous 16.6 percent, bought in 2011 through an investment in preferred stock. (r.reuters.com/med36t)
Liberty said it was selling a majority of its holding to institutional investors. It did not name the buyers or how much money it received from the sale.
MFST really starting to cath the eye on the marijuana crowd who are looking for new names coming into the sector.
Stock was added to the marijuana group on HSM which is a good sign that the word is spreading:

Facebook may be a bit ahead of itself price wise in the short term, but they are firing on all cylinders.
I really like the Oculus purchase, as weird as it initially sounded, it was a good move to expand into hardware.
Good PHOT read
The cannabis market in the U.S. is estimated to reach between $35 billion and $100 billion per annum, with some suggesting that the latter is much more likely, given the total money spent on alcohol ($188 billion) and cigarettes ($75 billion) reached $263 billion in 2008. That, of course, is predicated on all, or most, states legalizing cannabis in the coming years, which appears at the moment to be likely.
But unlike AMZN, PHOT cannot raise capital from traditional sources and doesn't enjoy institutional sponsorship due to the regulatory nature of the cannabis industry.

That is a rare and good looking chart for a change.
Most of the time its a quick 1-2 day pop n drop, but that was a slow and steady rise.
Bullish break to new highs this morning
DEWM reports 604% increase in Q1 sales revenue
Some eyes on this.
Previous PR tying them in with the marijuana sector:

DDD currently sitting on that $58 support, but if it pushes a little bit lower, that will be right on the longer term support which looks interesting:

HPNN new player in the marijuana sector
Looks like HPNN wants to jump onto the bandwagon:

MNKD to drop tomorrow?
Rolexian is shorting, he did great on the previous trade.
Closed on that support but Im sure we will see some pressure in the early morning trade, possibly an attempt at a gap fill.

Cramer cautious on AAPL head of earnings.
Fast Money last night Cramer was being cautious ahead of the number, here is the video clip

AAPL straddle anyone?
Im thinking it sells the news like previous earnings, but not sure on a straddle, maybe a small OTM put.
AAPL hit 410 in extended hours trading, piggybacking on the good GOOG earnings.
Lots of charts showing the same thing, here is another showing how almost every rally since Aug has been a 3-5 day event:
http://www.hotstockmarket.com/t/43337/stock-market-today-intraday-discussion/120040#post_2785188
It all lines up for a parabolic move, but what in your opinion will cause the blow off top?
That makes sense, internals were strong into lunch and it looked like a trending day.. then all the big negative ticks started hitting from nowhere.
For sure somebody knew.
Yeah, todays rally got pegged to the 200dma almost exactly.
Its telling that this would happen for a small cap like this, it shows that there are a lot traders playing, which can be both good and bad.
http://www.hotstockmarket.com/forum/thread/83593/fofu-force-fuels-inc/120#post_2753356
You can see that chart peg the 200dma at the body of the candle, tomorrow will be interesting to see how it plays out.
That was pretty crazy, but they will defend the 1300 level.
Tough call here with direction, if the numbers are bad tomorrow, its more likely we get more QE3, which should make everything rally again.
No position in NFLX here, but I was looking to get into a short up until this week when it suddenly took off for the moon.
Im too chicken to go long here, but as any of the now previous shorters will tell you, shorting it has not been a good idea over the past year.
So you are saying I should buy more NFLX... :P
What a monster that one is, at this rate $300 is in the cards this week.
Flurry is stalling, nobody seems to want any ES over 1275. AAPL and GOOG slipping is not helping
For sure, watch them rip this to ES 1290 or higher. That VIX spike today looked like it may have been the bottom, but options expry is always tricky.
By the looks of this chart, it does look like it!
Its crazy if you think about it, anybody that got in during 2006 and held... is now break even!
http://www.hotstockmarket.com/forum/thread/27347/rimm-research-in-motion-nasdaq-rim-tsx/2260#post_2746315
That is pretty sad, but its survival of the fittest. AAPL kicked in their "A" game and RIMM was slow to respond.
I still think crackberry users will always be crackberry users, its just the growth that everybody was predicting back at $70 is now a pipe dream.
Its definitely due for a bounce, GS was holding up pretty well, but the selling pressure from JPM took over.
TXN takes a -5% hit in afterhours:
http://www.hotstockmarket.com/forum/thread/43360/txn-texas-instruments-incorporated-nyse/40#post_2743658
TXN disappoints, -5% in afterhours.
Texas Instruments Inc., the largest analog-semiconductor maker, gave an updated second-quarter sales and profit forecast that fell short of analysts’ estimates, dragged down by sluggish demand for computer and phone chips.
The price is right. Its worth what ever the next sucker is willing to pay, so those guys paying $120 really felt it was worth it! :P
More like its C that has been putting the pressure on since the reverse split.
What a debacle that was.
Checking on the weightings, it goes like this:
1 JPMorgan Chase & Co. JPM 11.80%
2 Bank of America Corp. BAC 8.90%
3 Wells Fargo & Co. WFC 8.60%
4 Citigroup Inc. C 5.60%
5 U.S. Bancorp USB 4.20%
6 Goldman Sachs Group Inc. GS 3.10%
GS has been a big lag on the index in recent sessions
That 15 level is important here
