I bought a few shares at about $11, but I have no idea what is causing this latest surge.
What is going on with this stock? It's been going crazy the last couple of days.
I think they only pump when the market is open.
It seems to me that if the company had directed their money toward buying shares off the open market rather than for this inane pumping, that the share price would be substantially higher.
Did somebody call my name?
Yeah, what with all the discussion of the emeralds going on, I had almost forgotten why I got into this in the first place!
I had forgotten about this

ORRV Releases Details of Financing Agreement for the Tradewinds Project
PEORIA, IL--(Marketwire - Dec 9, 2011) - Oceanic Research and Recovery Inc. (PINKSHEETS: ORRV), a marine salvage and exploration company, today announced that it has finalized an agreement with United Gold Exploration Limited, a United Kingdom-based company, to provide funding for the Tradewinds Project. This project is a long-term effort planned and organized to locate and recover multiple shipwrecks in the Philippines over the next 5 years.
Under the terms of the agreement ORRV will manage all aspects of the project on behalf of project partners and ORRV shareholders. UGEL will provide EUR 2,000,000 for operational expenses. In exchange for this contribution to the project, UGEL will receive 60% of the "Net" treasure recovered during the course of operations. ORRV will receive 40% of the "Net" treasure recovered.
Logistical preparations will begin in the 1st quarter of 2012 with field operations scheduled to begin in the 2nd quarter of 2012.
To date, the ORRV team has already located two colonial era shipwrecks believed to be high value targets. Both targets were located where detailed historical research indicated they had sunk. These wrecks lie at depths which made contemporary salvage impossible and require sophisticated diving operations even by modern diving standards. Due to these factors, among others, it's believed their cargos lie relatively intact.
Project financing is another key area where ORRV attempts to partner with other organizations which is a cornerstone of the ORRV business model. Third party financing permits projects to be undertaken without diluting existing shareholders. The partner receives its share of the cargo salvaged as compensation for its involvement.
Originally announced in an ORRV press release on May 23, 2011, ORRV and UGEL in the intervening months have sought to improve the project structure to address recent changes in the European capital markets. The new agreement ensures that the Tradewinds Project will have sufficient levels of funding to meet all operational requirements.

I hope you're right
When does the 30:1 reverse split go into effect? Won't that give us about a $.90 share price immediately after implementation? Of course, we would only have 1/30 of our present shares.
That, of course, depends on whether or not the company is a viable entity.

Pursuant to our licensing practice and ongoing business development, we have entered into discussions with a national aluminum boat manufacturer. We expect to conclude our discussions and negotiate a license agreement with our potential partner within the next sixty days. The contemplated license will be for our engines which will be offered in their product line. JPMorgan nears $4bn RBS Sempra deal
By Patrick Jenkins and Javier Blas in London
Published: January 20 2010 12:53 | Last updated: January 20 2010 19:50
JPMorgan has seen off Deutsche Bank and Macquarie in the battle to acquire RBS Sempra Commodities, entering exclusive talks to buy the trading business for more than $4bn.

A deal could be announced in a matter of days, people close to the negotiations said on Wednesday.
The sale of the business – a joint venture between RBS, the rescued UK bank, and US group Sempra Energy – was triggered by a European Commission state-aid ruling late last year ordering RBS to divest its stake.
A deal would make JPMorgan a fourth big force in the commodities trading business alongside Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Barclays Capital, following a two-year acquisition drive by Jamie Dimon, JPMorgan chief executive.

JPMorgan’s commodities business, led by Blythe Masters, almost doubled in size in 2008 after the acquisition of Bear Stearns, which owned a strong natural gas and power business, and the subsequent purchase of energy and agriculture activities from UBS.
Ms Masters told the Financial Times in late 2008 that the string of purchases were boosting the bank’s commodities business and gaining it market share. “The acquisition of Bear Stearns has made a huge difference in our business,” she said.
JPMorgan has lured key traders and commodities bankers from rivals, particularly from market leader Goldman Sachs.
While the acquisition would enlarge JPMorgan in metals and agricultural commodities, bankers said it would face a large overlap on its North American power and natural gas operations, which constitute the bulk of RBS Sempra’s business.
Traders said Deutsche’s exclusion from talks was a blow, given its stated desire to expand its commodities business organically and by acquisition.
With booming profitability in commodities trading, the price tag for RBS Sempra rose beyond what most rivals expected. The bank aims to announce a deal by early February, limiting the window for due diligence to about a week, bankers said.
$1 here we come!!
Thanks Glockist, for sharing that info with us. I have been hearing similar rumblings for about a week or so.
And it's continually changing!
Doubt it.
I don't believe they have LTF finalized, but I do believe they are now producing enough to cover basic overhead costs.
Right on!!
From a recent newsletter:
America’s Silver Stockpile…Gone! There isn’t a single ounce left.
After weeks of digging through the U.S. Military’s public-relations archive, I confirmed the shocking truth about silver.
Right there, in black and white, it said: The government’s stockpile of has been completely exhausted.
So… Where Did All The Silver Go?
The vast amount of available silver – 95% to be exact – is not used for coinage. Rather it flows into the arms of industry. There is a massive appetite for the white metal, which has more uses than WD-40.
Silver…
* Coats energy efficient windows, compact discs and DVDs…
* Fires up Plasma TV screens, washing machines and vacuum cleaners…
* Plays a key role in silver-oxide batteries (which are replacing lithium in many applications)…
* And its anti-bacterial powers make it a popular agent in hospital needles, stethoscopes, furniture, door handles and paper files.
Unlike other precious metals, when silver is used up, it can’t be easily reclaimed or recycled. It’s been said that 90% of the silver ever mined has been used up… gone forever.
That fact is backed up by the commodities research firm, CPM Group. Recently, they issued a report that claimed there were 12 billion ounces of silver in the world in 1900. By 1990 that amount collapsed to approximately 2.2 billion ounces. And this year, that figure has declined to less than 1 billion ounces in aboveground-refined silver.
Could new supplies be discovered? Of course. Just as the Brazilian giant, PetroBras tapped a wealth of oil miles below sea level, we could see new supplies of silver come onto the market.
But I wouldn’t bet on a major discovery any time soon.
According to James Blanchard, III, winner of the “von Mises” award from the Ludwig von Mises Institute, “The richest silver deposits are nearest the surface of the earth. The deeper mines go, the less silver they tend to produce.”
In other words, it’s likely that all the primary silver mines in the world have been discovered.

I'm thinking that there were some services previously paid for but not fulfilled dating back to before the merger with WUCC.
Would it be insider information to negate a RUMOR?
I'm planning on it!
My understanding is that Mark is very determined to pay out dividends when the company becomes profitable. He feels that the share price will take care of itself, at that point, no matter which venue it is trading.
They would probably put a 6 mon. or 1 year restriction on them.
100,000x$.10=$10,000
100,000x$10=$1,000,000
That worked. Thanks. No CPRK yet
I'm getting a heck of an echo
Same problem
Thanks, FFF, for taking the time to put that together. Answers to any or all of those questions would be fantastic.
Plus they will continue to produce at least one load per day.
Good points.
Agreed. Today is a milestone in our long journey.
