UAL ($UAL) reported that its January traffic rose 0.1 percent year-over-year and capacity edged down 0.1 percent. Consolidated load factor rose 0.2 percentage points. The company also said it expects 2016 first quarter consolidated passenger unit revenue to decline 6-8 percent, as a stronger dollar, lower surcharges and travel reductions impact performance.
Coca-Cola's ($KO) fourth quarter adjusted earnings per share, which was a penny ahead of estimates, and its revenues were ahead of estimates.
