I had bounced around the drug industry in recent years as a contractor and the old school grip was very strong in companies like Baxter, whereas its spinoff Baxalta was the opposite, at least before being acquired by Shire.

Baxalta was an example of what the future will look like someday. Or even more so, Anavex is.

Follow-up: Received proxy voting notification, 10-K and shareholder meeting info from Fidelity this morning.

I've not gotten any notification from Fidelity yet but I usually do when my companies have something to vote on.

My assumption was the proxy filing is preliminary and not official yet...I recall seeing "preliminary" in the filing.

Would like some clarification on this as well.

If you set your sell order too high, you're effectively telling algos that you won't be taking any profits at these levels with those "locked" shares...you're basically taking those shares out of the equation. As XL says, it's best to hold your cards close to your chest.

And, it's a bit naive for retail to try to outsmart algos created by MIT wizards.

Besides, some folks like Fidelity investors cannot set sell orders above $2 while the current price is less than $1 on the OTC.

I know my limitations...I don't have the time, knowledge, or experience to adequately serve on an equity committee, but I feel shareholders need highly qualified and ethical representation if an EC is formed. I'm not confident that any of the current ad hoc committee members meet those requirements whatsoever.

Seems to me the ad hoc committee should make every effort to make a transcript available for every shareholder, including myself, since they are claiming to represent all of us.
