Just "checkin' in". Let me know when it's time to load up with more shares. See you in Vegas!!
Does anyone have any idea who is buying stuff from Wave, and what exactly is being purchased?
I'm with you, how much you buyin'? I don't want to be left behind on the train platform while the Wave locomotive screams out of the station! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Do you think I should drop all my retirement money in it? It's a lock, right? He who hesitates is.....I don't know....someone who hesitates? Don't miss out! Wave will multiply like Microsoft. Retire tomorrow and buy a yacht, where you can have orgies for the rest of your life!
I say $50.00 in 15 days.
I wonder if I will complete my "Hat Trick of Stupidity" in 2016. First one was...I voted for George McGovern in 1972; the second one was...I bought many shares of Wave Systems; wonder what I'll do next for number 3.....
I say $50.00
I say $50.00.
Best time ever to invest all of your retirement money in Wave. For those lucky enough to own shares, hang on to them like grim death with "strong hands". See you in Vegas!!! Don't forget, at the hotel, get into the WavXpress line for your free Scrambls eggs in the morning!! Also, all rooms come with complimentary "rabbit ears" on your TV so you can watch the Golf Network all night long. Please also stop by the "Ishophere" desk for your ID badge and coffee mug with pictures of SKS and Bill Solms on opposite sides (left handed folks will see Solms when sipping their coffee, and right handed people will see SKS).
See y'all in Vegas! Yahoooooo!
This company should be studied at Harvard Business School, as an example of how to run a company for 20 years without selling anything, by just conning suckers on the internet.
I'm new to this stock. A guy who sells potato chips, Doritos, Twinkies, etc. told me to invest my entire life savings in this company. Should I do it?
I had a dream about Wave once. You know those commercials about Spiriva for people with COPD, and they are having a hard time breathing? And they show an elephant sitting on someone's chest? In my dream SKS was sitting on my chest and taking my wallet out of my pocket.
The fact of the matter is nobody...and I mean NOBODY....back in the late 1900s, and early 2000s, ever even came close to seeing/predicting that it would ultimately be the government, and the NSA, that would be at the center of non-adoption, and Wave's failure. If anything, back in those days, everyone thought the government would be our biggest customer, because Wave seemingly had the silver bullet for security. But the world changed after 9/11, and it turned out to be the government that wanted and needed access to our computers, which the operating TPM would have prevented. End of story, and ultimately the end of Wave, and it should have died at that time. But it was kept on life support by all of us suckers, wishful thinkers and saps, who refused to listen to the truth, and preferred instead to listen to the delusions and wishful thinking of someone who had become obsessed, and mentally ill, over his loss of millions in 2000, and who fed everyone nonsense for the next 14 years. RIP..WAVE
Snack, I think something is up, what about you?
If I was a betting man, I would bet that something will happen with Wave this week, or maybe next week. Or perhaps 4 months from now, or maybe it already happened yesterday, or last year. Then again, perhaps I would bet that something will happen on September 19, either in 2015 or 2016.
Just sharing some pearls of wisdom that I picked up from another site....or something like that.
Yes, but remember the patents alone are worth untold millions, maybe even billions like Scrambls (don't laugh, and don't be a basher), according to "Mighty Joe Young".
My RoT is Ten.....RoTTen.
It's true! And upon re-release of WaveXpress, the inventor, Mikey Sprague, had this to say, "WaveXpress was way ahead of it's time, because people thought it way behind the times, what with it having antennae/rabbit ears, while the world had left those in the 1960s! But...ah ha!! I knew that everything old becomes new again, just like short skirts, and people would gradually get rid of satellite and cable, and revert to rabbit ears!! We are bringing back some old TV to celebrate the re-release, and The "Honeymooners", will be available immediately. My particular favorite of that show was when Norton was wearing his tinfoil hat"
I wonder if such non-disclosure borders on criminality, or at least not complying with SEC rules.
Blue, I don't disagree with the facts you've laid out, more with the motives for the various "misrepresentations". I don't think the "lying" was because he wasn't trying to do all that he was personally able to do to achieve success (Monday morning, second guessing aside). Or that the "lying" was the cause of failure for Wave, but that the lying was the necessary by product OF the failure, and something all CEOs do, to one degree or another, when they have to...it's a job REQUIREMENT. The alternative, in many CCs would have been for him to say "Folks bail out of this POS! We have junk for sale, and we just can't sell it. Save yourself, this quarter is worse than the last, and the next one will be worse than this one!" (Or not junk, but rather having to deal with circumstances Orda has outlined, which I pretty much agree with). But to call a man....any man....all sorts of names because he has tried mightily, but has failed, is minimally, silly to me. To sit in the audience and ridicule the guy"...whose face is marred by dust, and sweat, and blood; who has tried valiantly, but has failed..." (see Teddy Roosevelt)...that's the man who is lacking in character, not the man on stage.
I believe that Solms is a good man, who wants Wave to succeed as much as anyone on the planet. I also believe SKS was a good man, who also wanted Wave to succeed more than anyone on the planet. And I believe that both have done everything in their power to make that happen. To think otherwise about either CEO, each of whom had more to gain than anyone by Wave succeeding, is unadulterated foolishness and nonsense. I think both men have been encumbered by the exact same problem...Wave's products are not wanted, for some reason, in this environment.
Somebody wants in bad today. Must be another leak.
....and if the product really does suck after all, which some folks on these boards have basically stated before, then rather than SKS being a bad CEO and salesman, it would mean that he was actually a brilliant CEO and salesman to be able to sell, what turned out to be junk, to several mega-billion dollar outfits, before they found out. Maybe Solms right now, is marveling at what SKS accomplished, and realizing he can't match that performance. In fact, maybe Solms is secretly negotiating with SKS to have Rivetz acquire Wave.
Wave is on the move again today....another leak, perhaps....
I agree big things are coming. I just did some DD on my own and found this information from another poster..."Scrambls will be introduced in the next few weeks. If successful, the revenues from Scrambls will dwarf all other income coming into Wave..........Is it possible that Scrambls could be so successful, that it could be bought for 10 figures? Don't laugh; we could be looking at a monster"
Yes. Cue the fat lady......
.....damn....my wife just saw the prior post and told me to pack my bags, and be out of the house by 6:00 tonight.....GO WAVX!!!
I'm with you, baby! There's never been, nor has it ever been said, that there is a better time to buy than RIGHT NOW!!! It's all lined up...FIPPS, TRIPPPS, MIPPS, and DRIPPS!!! Ray Charles could see this!! A man would have to be a fool to not back up the truck tomorrow morning, and buy with both hands until the closing bell!! GLTA...PTL and pass the ammunition!!
....groceries, before I buy any more Wave stock. I've lost 60 lbs., buying shares instead of food!!
Today I'm buying.....
I love reverse splits. Reduces my number of shares which makes it easier to do the math to figure out how much I'm losing. But, hey, that's just me.
Last November, I predicted February 2015. Glad I was wrong, but I wonder by how many months I will be wrong.
".....a memorandum of understanding to promote...." Let's see now, how do we make analogy between this, and the girl who's been dying to get married. Maybe.... She just received an e-mail from the guy that says he's thinking about her, and thinking about talking together sometime about the idea of marriage, and he wanted her to have some documentation of that, which is the purpose of the e-mail. What is this....about the 74th one of these in Wave's history, all of which have produced $0.00 in revenues?
I'll tell you one thing for sure....this partnership with Intel will absolutely generate 10X more than all the revenues that have been generated thus far from our Partnership with Samsung.....now let me figure that out here....let's see...let me do some cipherin'.....times 3, carry the one, plus this, plus this, times this...got it!!! !.....10 Times $0 = $0!!!!!!
In my mind the more important thing than the dollar amount of the deal, is that it shows that there might be life still left in the old corpse known as Wave. Like ET, just when they thought it was dead, that one touch brought it back to life! SOMEBODY bought SOMETHING from Wave! This may be "something to phone home about"!Phone home for chris' sake, PHONE HOME!!!
Alea, I think the "unicorn" that I probably somewhat believe and hope has a chance of appearing, is the DOD. If that is percolating in a back room somewhere, and just bursts onto the scene, it would certainly be a game changer. Now maybe some of the technical folks know that can't happen for one reason or another and, if it can't, I really don't want to hear about it at this point. I'm "all in" anyways, so I don't want to hear Santa Claus isn't real, because reindeer can't fly, and Santa is too fat to fit down my chimney.
"We've heard about long sales cycles....." Indeed. 17 years is a looooooonnnggg sales cycle! One guy gets the "lead", his son eventually does the presentation, and his grandkid makes the close 17 years later....well hopefully he makes the close...we're still waiting for it :)
I say number 2. He has probably been a victim of the same thing that made all those SKS potential deals go south...at the end of the trial, the client simply didn't like the product. I just don't believe it's been any more complicated than that, based on the objective evidence we have had all these years. It HAS to be that the product sucks for the current needs and environment.
GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!KICK BUTT!!!!!
I'll tell you one thing.....I would bet the rest of my life savings (which, of course, is significantly reduced because of my blind disregard for facts/objective evidence, and greed/hope driven decision to keep investing in Wave) that Thibideau's departure had absolutely NOTHING to do with any physical limitation, as claimed.
I wondered before if their IT guy leaving and going to Target, was in part due to his possible involvement in getting Wave in the first place, and maybe GMs subsequent dissatisfaction with the product. If so, a non-renewal would fit....
