Looks like Newlead is starting to turn around
What happened to this company I bought shares 6 months ago and now I am at -99%?
You know I chose to buy a few shares out of curiousity because someone keeps trading about 30 million shares at 0.0001 everyday which is equivalent to 3 grand
looks like this might be their website when I google searched Med-Cannabis Pharma Inc. http://med-cannabispharma.com/
I am little confused, when I look at google finance gegsq I see a press release about the company emerging from bankruptcy. http://www.bizjournals.com/sanantonio/blog/eagle-ford-shale-insight/2015/02/global-geophysical-services-emerges-from-chapter.html
I hope so. I find it unbelievable of the degree people have sold off. I'd say the majority of companies are sitting at -90 to -99% from the peaks back in February and March.
You know I'm wondering just maybe if all the people on here who are sending out negative comments simmer down a little maybe it will see more positive days.
Was there any news today?
I think so, looking at the total market cap and where I think it could be. Maybe I’ll share some of my thoughts on here based on comparisons. Now I may not be that accurate or correct on statements but I’ll try to possibly give out a ball-park answer of what I am thinking.
First off based on the http://marijuanaindex.org/ the level is trading roughly at the same level it was back one year ago with a market cap of 3.08 billion dollars as of right now and note that GW Pharmaceuticals makes up 45% of it and one of the only companies who have increased substantially since last year but also and I don’t know that much about GW Pharmaceuticals but when I google searched them I read located in Salisbury, England. https://www.google.com/search?q=gw+pharmaceuticals&rls=com.microsoft:en-US:IE-Address&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=ie7&rlz=1I7ADFA_enUS464&gws_rd=ssl Do they plan to be shipping MJ across seas? Also I know there are a lot more companies out there just not listed in the index but I don’t know of any with a giant market cap so maybe I’ll add a half billion and say the market cap is 3.58 billion dollars. Also take into account that some of these companies are looking into the media industry such as UTRM and DIGX and electronic cigarette liquids and products and other ideas like fuel such as VGPR.
Yet there has been tremendous positive news in this sector. We have 23 states that are producing or legalized MMJ and 4 recreational now. Maybe I am wrong here but I thought before 2014 California was the only state that was producing MMJ.
Now I feel like we have just not been able to pick back up since the SEC went on a rampage suspending several MJ related stocks back in late March. It appears to me like these stocks are very sensitive. And looks to me like they may have over did it like SKTO and AEGY are trading at rock bottom. I believe they set up the website pharmajanes.com, but if this is some kind of a scam then why is this website still up and appear to be selling products? http://pharmajanes.com/shopping.
Another one is I think is that there are just not enough investors out there buying into micro and nano cap stocks since late March. Most penny stocks that have looked at seem to be getting lower and lower level market cap. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/20141107160528-27697123-otcbb-what-happened-to-the-individual-investors?trk=mp-reader-card
Okay I tried to take a stab at finding a rough estimate on how much money would be spent if every state followed for 2015 at the same rate for both MMJ and recreational MJ per year as Colorado has done thus far and the distribution of people buying recreational MJ and MMJ. I found a website that gives the revenue of taxes: https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/revenue/colorado-marijuana-tax-data
https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/sites/default/files/1014%20Marijuana%20Tax%2C%20License%2C%20and%20Fees%20Report.pdf First I added all 10 of the given months January through October (Jan. 913,519 + Feb. 1,022,176 + March 999,900 + April 919,982 + May 927,330 + June 830,861 + July 838,711 + August 935,807 + Sept. 908,630 + Oct. 928,329) for MMJ using line 2 and got $9,225,245 (and I am guessing that this is the amount of tax revenue at 2.9% rate), so then I multiplied 100/2.9 and got $318,111,896 then divided by 10 to get an average per month and got 31,811,189.6 then multiplied by 12 to get an average per year $381,734,275.
.
So $381,734,275 is how much people have spent for MMJ per year for Colorado assuming November and December are roughly the same. According to this, http://factfinder.census.gov/faces/tableservices/jsf/pages/productview.xhtml?src=bkmk there are roughly 5,000,000 people in Colorado for 2010, and I rounded up to 5,400,000 in Colorado for 2015. So I divided 381,734,275 by 5.4 and determined that $70,691,532 is spent on MMJ for 1 million population per year. Looking at this site http://medicalmarijuana.procon.org/view.resource.php?resourceID=000881 I recorded all 23 states and DC and I rounded up a little for each population for 2015. 1) Alaska 750,000. 2) Arizona 6,700,000. 3) California 38,500,000. 4) Colorado 5,400,000. 5) Connecticut 3,600,000. 6) DC 650,000. 7) Delaware 930,000. 8) Hawaii 1,410,000. 9) Illinois 12,900,000. 10) Maine 1,330,000. 11) Maryland 6,000,000. 12) Massachusetts 6,700,000. 13) Michigan 9,900,000. 14) Minnesota 5,450,000. 15) Montana 1,020,000. 16) Nevada 2,850,000. 17) New Hampshire 1,325,000. 18) New Jersey 8,920,000. 19) New Mexico 2,090,000. 20) New York 19,750,000. 21) Oregon 3,950,000. 22) Rhode Island 1,050,000. 23) Vermont 627,000. 24) Washington 7,000,000. Then I added it up and got 148,802,000 population for 23 states and DC. So if $70,691,532 is spent on MMJ for 1 million population then (multiplied number by 148.802) $10,519,041,344 could be spent from a population of 148.802 million on MMJ.
And for recreational MJ, I did the same thing. First, I added all 10 of the given months January through October (Jan. 416,690 + Feb. 438,253 + March 569,505 + April 639,728 + May 642,124 + June 700,107 + July 821,708 + August 956,973 + Sept. 886,915 + Oct. 888,250 for MMJ using line 3 and got $6,960,253 (and I am guessing that this is the amount of tax revenue at 2.9% rate), so then I multiplied 100/2.9 and got $240,008,724 then divided by 10 to get an average per month and got $24,000,872.4. then multiplied by 12 to get an average per year $288,010,469 then divided that number by 5.4 and got $53,335,272. So $53,335,272 is how much 1 million people have spent for recreational MJ per year. Adding up the population for 1) Colorado 5,400,000. 2) Alaska 750,000. 3) Oregon 3,950,000. 4) Washington 7,000,000. And got a total population of 17,100,000 population for the 4 recreational states. So 53,335,272 times 17.1 = $912,033,151 total for recreational MJ could be spent if all 4 states made out the same as Colorado. Add $912,033,151 to $10,519,041,344 and get $11,431,074,495. So $11,431,074,495 could be spent in one year for 2015 if all states have started on 1/1/2015 and made out on average the same as Colorado has done thus far and assuming everything I did is correct.
Huh I wonder what happened here. Did they do a 1 to 4 split and then change their mind?
Anyone have a great and easy way to find out if a company is diluting shares?
So I have recently noticed the price per share on some of the nanocap stocks are 0.00001 (quadruple zero 1) such as TGGI or BONU and I am seeing a volume order there, are people trading at that share price? I mentioned it to a USAA representative and he just responded saying that most of the computers are not designed to go below 0.0001 (triple zero 1).
Ah man I can't buy shares of this in my Fidelity account.
So True 2 Beauty is moving up to the Nasdaq exchange?
This charts look interesting. I was wondering where you found this. I'd love to see what April - September look like as well if it is available. Is this just for marijuana stocks or is this for all stocks?
Looks like we are getting some buying activity GO UPOT!
If I understand what you are saying, it sounds to me like Coleridge, De Witt, Esparaza, and some guy are pretty confident about UPOT if they are holding that many shares.
I am guessing this not the end either. I have seen HKUP on the breakout board several times and still I don't see it up there. I am holding and waiting till more people see it and buy shares. Who can sell shares if they don't have shares to sell, and I wouldn't guess people would want to short this.
I know right, I find it mind boggling that I bought this at $0.07 back in May then sold it a few weeks later at $0.12 then bought at $0.04 then expecting a similar pattern but I was wrong definitely did not expect it to sell off all the way to 0.002 and now the run comes.
And I have seen 1000% in one day. Several months ago my second or third penny stock lpriq and I lucked out. It is delisted now but I bought shares back at .0001 and saw it go up 1000% the same day I bought it.
Imagine if no one selling stocks like this could run up to 1000% in one day. I don't even see this one on the top 50 breakout board. So I am guessing not that many people caught this yet.
It's about time people quit selling the @#$% out of this stock. I was mad when I bought this a hefty load at .04 and drops to .02 then I said alright this might be the bottom at 0.02. I buy more and watch it drop to .002. And I am upset that I didn't catch this until now when it is up 200%, but I bought more shares because I would guess that this would go right back up to .04 where it belongs and the run has just begun.
At $27 a share now looking like a great IPO run
I know right. Everyone was focused on Alibaba.
Im thinking about it, trying to figure out why the big sell off, was the press release involving the FDA about safety?
I am going make my conjecture that it will continue +. It was trading at a $1 four months ago. And stock tips expects $4.6 million return, maybe there is something here.
Are they still planning for a reverse split?
I don't think very many people know about this stock. It looks like a hidden gem. I myself just found out about it a couple of days ago.
Did Enable Holdings forget they have a stock? They probably should throw out a press release or something. I take it that they still operate Redtag and ubid. Looking at their financials, looks like their revenue ranges from 3 to 7 million every quarter, but I don't see anything recent on google finance maybe I'll look around more. https://www.google.com/finance?q=OTCMKTS%3AENAB&fstype=ii&ei=7-TkU-H9H8qfrAHHp4GoCA. Value Investor might be right I think this does look undervalued. I see a market cap of $51,575.
I saw this on June 17 and said forget that whatever happened I missed the pump.
I just can't believe the past value went from 3.5 million to 14 cents.
Someone traded 1 share at 16:46 LOL
It's about time. Reading that made my day today.
Oh I found it, it says audited when you click on company profile.
This goes out to whoever has traded or observed penny/micro/nano cap stocks during one or multiple stock market crashes. Are they affected by it?
I noticed that after the SEC suspends a stock there is a 60 to 80% loss in price per share. My question is there a loss in the market cap? If so where did the money go to? Does the government seize it? Is this how the SEC gets paid?
I may jump in.
Alrighty thanks Malvern just bought some shares.
Anyone have any suggestions? I have been wondering if I should buy into this stock. I see it went down -99% on the start of Monday to .0001. I know it's in the grey market, but that looks ultra low.
I agree. I think most people who are watching are the investors. It would behoove them to see if they can place an advertisement on a popular website like facebook or something or throw a commercial in on a popular T.V. show. Also if they aren't already doing this, I think before they post the video on youtube is to rehearse once and having an average joe blow person for an audience see if he can grasp all the information.
