Interesting to see where Coretec posts job openings , nothing open now but will keep an eye open as they move to a bigger lab and expand
https://careernetwork.msu.edu/companies/the-coretec-group/jobs/
Someone had said they count buy CRTG on E -Trade but I know quite a few traders that use E -Trade to buy CRTG . You just have to wait 3 business days for funds to settle sometimes .
CRTG could really make a big move up on positive Corporate Development News . They usually involve major partnerships , mergers Etc.. On low volume and no news its moved off 2 cents to about 4 cents . There is not anything holding it back with a big news event and big demand for the stock. I remember CRTG hit 50 cents on no news about a year and a half ago but with concrete news and now with an anode that makes your EV battery go easily twice the distance and charge in 6 minutes to 80 % capacity with much better battery lifespan and that's a drop in material that works better in extreem cold conditions and Ramez said a while back they were working toward a 500 Wh/Kg battery which would match the best out there ( Amprius hit 500 Wh/Kg ) . I believe CRTG will surpass that . Teals battery is like 250 Wh/Kg . I was in Teslas Cyber truck the other day , at best they get 340 miles or so and can only charge to 134 miles in 15 min. With Coretec new anode Tesla could possibly charge to 80 % in 6 min and go twice as far . Ramez Elgammels interview the other day said 80 % in 6 min .and with just by adding 30 to 40 % silicon to the anode you can easily double the range . Great Data equals a huge move up I believe for CRTG !!! Great Data equals big partnerships and big Corporate developments which Coretec has said they are working out the details of one of those 6 weeks ago on Jan 8th ) Expecting news soon .!!!
Ramez said in the recent interview that they would be sending out materials for evaluation later this year which could mean several months or 2 months . Im sure in the shareholder call Coretec will give us a detailed timeline of events and Corporate goals including when the new lab is up and running and when they will ship out materials. We must remember im positive they don't have to be in the new lab to scale up the active anode materials and ship see out . They said the new lab would allow them to scale up more materials than they can in a smaller lab and new equipment was needed for larger scale operation and the new larger lab gives the whole team room to have meetings and collaborations in the lab . Really just that simple ! New equipment can allow them to make More materials to ship out but they can do that Now on a smaller scale. So I dont think we should get hung up on them needing to move into the new lab before the silicon anode active materials can be properly evaluated or tested or scaled because they said they are doing that today.
Its obvious Armistice Capital has backed off selling shares as we haven't seen large ASK orders recently. They gave Coretec 6 million dollars and picked up 12.5 million shares , refunded warrants last May 8th of 2023. They may be out of those shares but still have 38.5 million refunded warrant remaining but can only own 4.99 % of the Coretec outstanding share count at a time. They also have 82 million warrant they can excersice at 7.99 % with the same restrictions on how many they can have a a time. Armistice Capital disclosed on Feb 14th 2023 that they held 13 million shares of CRTG and again received 12.5 million May 8th 2023 according to SEC filings posted by Coretec . We haven't seen any disclosers this year so maybe they are not holding any shares right now . Maybe this Corporate development has something to do with this . Maybe since they are an activist shareholder , investor in CRTG they are aware of the inside details of the new Corporate Development and cant trade any stock or receive any more stock right now until this new corporate development is public. ??? Institutional investors who are the main funders of small companies like CRTG have some influence but not final decision makers of a companies corporate activity. If this new development affects the shares , stock or stock value i would think they have been notified and had explanations of these events given to them . So the stock we see can move much easier without huge amounts of stock sitting at the ASK . Big news will provide CRTG of much needed demand and should move the ticker higher .
Nattbatt Feb 19th ...Will Coretec be at the conference ?? I assume someone may go but no word yet form Coretec . As we know Coretec is a member and takes part in the military battery consortium meeting each month according to Michelle Tokarz. They are not listed under , " Attendees "
https://nac.naatbatt.org
The update on the rescheduled shareholder call they said would be later this month. That could be because the corporate development work is taking longer than expected as they were wanting to give details of this during the call. Now I assume its something they cant talk about now so they didn't refer to it in this update. Im guessing this corporate development is still in the works because if its off I'm sure they would just go ahead and schedule the shareholder call date in this update today or would have already done it ... So I believe that Corporate Development is still being worked on details to come . Nice to see they need a bigger lab to produce more material , that's means they need more for pouch cell testing and to supply materials to those who will be testing it . That means someone wants it , Ford for one and im sure others . Nice article on Ford who though they are cutting back now on EV production their plan is that they are betting on NEW CHEMISTRIES OF WHICH CORETECS WILL BE ONE OF THOSE SINCE MATT KAPPERS ALREADY SAID IN THE 2023 OCT 26 PODCAST FORD WILL BE TESTING CORETECS SILICON ANODE MATERIALS .
From the Ford article testpilot posted "One of the things we're taking advantage of in taking some timing delays is rationalizing the level and timing of our battery capacity to match demand and actually reassessing the vertical integration that we're relying on, and betting on new chemistries and capacities," Farley said during the automaker's fourth-quarter earnings call.
From Yunle Wei and team a couple of months ago on December 7 2023 an article from Adelaide U and their work on Tellurite glass which they say is being used for C-Space . Looking forward to the update on C-Space . I like what Coretec is doing with their silicon anodes for batteries but I'm becoming more and more excited about ( Originally 3Dicons ) C-Space image chamber work .
( C-Space works with a laser system to project the image into the image chamber ... )Yunle Wei presented on Space at the SPIE Photonics West conference Jan 30 2024
From the article :
"These are important features for optics, lasers, and telecommunications technologies such as fibre optics, laser systems, and sensing technologies."
https://www.adelaide.edu.au/optofab/news/list/2023/12/08/nanoparticle-magic-fine-tuning-gold-nanoparticles-in-tellurite-glass-for
Like what im seeing from Adelaide University on C-Space . Cant wait to get an update
When Coretec said a while back that they were looking at potential companies to do a merger with they were looking for someone with existing revenue that also had a technology that was " the core " tech in technologies like Coretecs technologies . Will have to look to find those statements . But as we know they didn't find someone but maybe now they have found the right company . We will find out ... perhaps as early as next week .
Corporate development strategies
b]#1 Mergers and Acquisitions
Large companies often acquire/buy out smaller firms that have skills, knowledge, customers, revenue, earnings, and/or cash flow that can significantly benefit the acquiring company. In other cases, a company may acquire a firm that it thinks has potential and then revamp its business model to take it in a new, and hopefully, profitable direction. To carry out such acquisitions, corporate development professionals need to be skilled at corporate valuation, risk management, financial modeling, negotiation, and integration.
When carrying out mergers and acquisitions, corporate development teams: (1) create a target list, (2) value the companies in a financial model, (3) negotiate terms of the deal, and (4) integrate the acquisition into the company. For more on this, please see our guide on the M&A Process.
For successful integrations, Corp Dev teams often create a Transition Services Agreement (TSA) between the buyer and the seller. A TSA specifies the nature of and duration for which the seller will continue to provide services to the business which has been purchased. This creates value for the buyer as it provides them with time to integrate the newly purchased business. It also helps the seller as it allows them to mitigate stranded costs and restructure their systems (especially if only a part of their business has been acquired by the buyer).
#2 Long-term Partnerships
Having a reputation in the marketplace as a “partner” of choice provides a company with a competitive advantage. This is because stable partnerships, comprised of a number of organizations, provide all the partners with economies of scale. Furthermore, in order to avoid a price war/a race to the bottom with a potential competitor, companies often prefer establishing partnerships with them.
Also, forming partnerships is (usually) much less capital intensive than acquiring a firm. Thus, given the demand for establishing partnerships in innovative ways, knowing how to establish sustainable partnerships with other organizations creates a competitive advantage.
( Armistice is Coretecs Hedge fund institutional investor who provided the 6 million dollars to fund Coretecs plans to commercialize a product )
#6 Creative Transactions for Optimizing Shareholder Value.
Activist shareholders and hedge funds often exert external pressure on a company by stating their preferences and views regarding the company’s performance and strategic direction. The demands put forth by such investors act as incentives for the corporate development team to engineer new kinds of deals for optimizing shareholder value.
From the recent news Coretec I believe has a corporate development the could involve a partnership or merger as we all are pondering but it could be more to it than just Endurion , but a restructuring of the company as a whole to help Endurion and financing and be beneficial to Coretec as a company as a whole to create longevity so they can achieve all their goals beyond Endurion as their silicon has other applications plus we have C-Space that needs time to complete . Check this out great read !
The Coretec Group leadership appreciates the patience from investors and stakeholders and looks forward to sharing notable developments, including the latest news on the Endurion program, in the near future.

Under heading Implementing Strategies for Corporate Development is were I have highlighted numbers 1,2 and 6
My thoughts on this article In this detailed explanation of the Corporate Development world and what it is and what it involves I like to think that this new Corporate Development at Coretec involves numbers #1 OR #2 and # 6 ( which would involve the Hedge Fund Armistice ) They are the activist hedge fund that financed the company plan to commercialize Coretec products. I remember a while back when Coretec was very active in looking at potential mergers candidates they said there institutional investor supported a merger with someone Coretecs update on that venture said they had not found the value they wanted so they never merged with anyone. I still think that this is a possibility as well for a Big partnership with someone but I do think Armistice has some pull here in Coretecs decision as this article states is, #6 , that hedge fund investors can have influence and advice for a company Corporate development decisions even though they can't force Coretecs hand but can give their opinion and supportive advice to the Corporate development team at Coretec
Yes they can exercise their rights to the pre funded warrants after they sell some shares of course up to 4.99 % of the OS count. They just can't do the same unless we hit 7.99 cents with the other 82 million warrants. Feb 14 or so thy should be disclosing all their holding in all companies thy hold . It will be , " as off Dec 31 2023 " numbers. Coetec will get a SEC filing . There are some restrictions on selling shares I don't remember off hand but did look it up.
If Coretecs Full Coin testing is going as well as they say it is the that opens early doors for possibly partnerships with companies who make military batteries and consumer electronic applications . Could this apply to the New Corporate Development ?? Don't know but it could even be a partnership with a semi conductor company or LED company as they were looking at possible merger candidates a while back and a possible partnership with an LED company in Verticle agriculture. Its wide open because they do have a silicon that Erik Bakkers at Eindhoven said could be a game changer back when he tested his new silicon.
Coretecs roadmap had 2023 Q-4 partnerships with end user battery manufactures ( since they obviously are not in the manufacturing business but just supply materials ) and also EV auto makers was the other on this roadmap .. They sound like they hit on one of those and we will hear about it soon .. We have to remember that they stated that they were pushing towards a 500 Wh/Kg battery which is huge and later stated things were going better than anticipated so will they hit 600 Wh/Kg , maybe , Teslas battery is just 260 Wh/Kg .Amprius hit 500 Wh/Kg but the best in their battery plans is 450 Wh/Kg Amprius trades at 4 dollars a share . If we get a 500 Wh/Kg and our Silicon anode IS a plug in play We will eventually move much much higher than a measly 2 cents !!!! I think they have the best Silicon anode out there and thats leading to excellent partnerships . We will hear all about this soon !!
Armistice gave CRTG 6 million $$ to start as we know. So I'm guessing their plan is to sell all the pre funded warrants , 38.5 million yet to be used, at whatever price they can get to start and if the stock goes above 7.99 cents these 82 million warrants that can then be sold are worth 6 million plus at just 7.99 cents . So they get a head start on getting their 6 million back now with the pre funded warrants plus they actually got 23 million shares up front as part of the deal and when those are gone so that's when they started picking up their first batch of 12.5 plus million shares of the 52 million pre funded warrants I think May 8th 2023. If they can sell 82 million at 7.99 cents plus they come out ahead. I think they are almost of the 12.5 million they received last year in May. The shares they had left from the original 23 million were down to 13,400,000 shares at the end of 2022 according to the SEC filing Feb 14 2023. It was after those were sold that they exercised their first batch of the per funded warrants of 12.5 million in May 8th 2023 They should be almost out of those shares now and will probably get more soon. You know , if Coretec has some great news out before they get their next round of 12.5 million shares the stock ( can only own 4.99 % of OS count at a time ) would the stock price have a chance to move higher ? 284 OS share count now but with the 34 and 82 million added to it one day CRTG will have over 410 million OS shares . Would they do a reverse split ?? Will they receive more dilutive funding ?? Time will tell . How about just a NICE BIG BUYOUT !!
I agree that could be the case ...Armistice filing a year ago ( Feb 14th ) had 13 million plus shares as of DEC 31 2022 in this SEC filing S13G/A disclosure Feb 14th 2023. They may be getting rid of all their shares they have left so thy can pick up another 13 million of those pre- funded warrants of which they have 38.5 million left and 82 million warrants they get have when the stock gets to 7.99 cents but only 4.99 % of Coretecs outstanding share count on both of these. Coretec does not need any more dilutive types of funding !! There should be another disclosure this month. If its not them selling it could be someone from Wainwright who closed on the Armistice deal where 3 guys got shares..totaling I believe about 4 to 5 million give or take. But my guess is Armistice is selling .

Dr Yunle Wei room 202 ( level 2 ) today mid afternoon will do a presentation on Coretecs C-Space glass at the Moscone Center in San Fran Calif ... Coretecs hidden jewel C-space could be a big winner one day !!
https://www.xplorit.com/san-francisco
C-Space 3D volumetric Display glass presentation today at the SPIE Photonics conference/ Dr Yunle Wei will be making his presentation this afternoon in San Fran . C-Space could one day be a big winner for Coretec
https://spie.org/photonics-west/presentation/Development-of-low-phonon-energy-glass-for-3D-volumetric-display/12882-31
From Dr Wei abstract :
Volumetric 3D display allows a wide range of applications in air traffic control, medical imaging, automotive and aerospace design, visualisation in weather or defence monitoring. Previous work in this area has examined the use of upconversion in low-phonon-energy fluoride glasses and single crystals as the imaging chamber material. However, these glasses and crystals are difficult to produce at a sufficient size and quality. We will report on our examination of a range of low-phonon-energy glasses. This study identified tellurite glass as a promising candidate with high fluorescence efficiency for display and up-scalability of the imaging chamber size.
Everyone should be aware of Armistice stock holdings and look for a new SEC filing in the near future receiving another 12 plus million shares. That could bog down a thinly traded stock even after a big run up when things quiet down a bit after a move p those shares just sit at there a at the given ask at the time a the stock doesn't move until the next big news that might move the stock demand and price up again .. 38.5 million pretended warrants and 82 million warrants at 7.99 cents can be sold with restrictions of course and no more than 4.99% stock ownership of the OS share count ..Very important stuff to know .. They should update their share holdings in February through a SEC filing .
I have kind of a new take on this statement by Coretec on the Jan 11th below ...at first I was thinking this this NEW development that showed PROMISE might mean that it was something that might show real promise for something good to happen down the road 6 months or so from some kind of new partnership that would take time to bring about positive results . But now I really think that this , ' New promising corporate development " is simply that ...a very new offer ( like a few days before the Jan 11th shareholder call ) a new offer for Coretec to work with someone in a partnership merger acquisition type corporate development , that they suddenly needed time to have talks about this very promising new ( phone call )and corporate development with this company to finalize a deal with someone that they had already knew they wanted to work with . They obviously wanted to wait to sign the deal so they could talk about it in the shareholder call. Its like they got a phone call right before the shareholder call and a company said I want to do a deal with you lets talk so they tell us shareholders to just hold on a few weeks till they get all the details together on this deal that sounded very promising . Corporate developments are often mergers aquisitions or partnerships..
From the new release Jan 11th .... today announced it will postpone its planned January 11, 2024 shareholder call to a later date, as the Company seeks to finalize and incorporate details of
new, promising corporate developments into the presentation.
We also need to remember that Coretec just stated on Jan 11 that their anode material had progressed into full coin cells which is great but no mention yet of moving to pouch cells yet which is what they put in the cars and data from pouch cells is what everyone wants to see. I think they have made enough progress though that there is a possibility that the data results from the full coin cell testing could be enough for a battery manufacturer or maybe an end user to want to secure a partnership with them . Navitas or Empower Green tech partnerships could be some low hanging fruit for early partners.A Ford partnership would of course be huge Coretec had said they were working with them ( per podcast ) and Navitas and Empower Green Tech in the panel discussion. Lots of speculation out there but it will be a positive advancement whatever this NEW corporate development is .Maybe it is a partnership with the vertical agriculture company in the LED business they spoke of over a year ago ?? Time will tell.. Oh I might as well throw another one in , maybe Facebook is buying the rights to C-Space for a new real time 3D volumetric experience on facebook LOL
These are 2 separate talking points ( below ) as I see it from the news release a couple of weeks ago. NEW promising corporate developments ...Endurion is not a new corporate development and it seems to be separate from Enduring the way it reads . And its a new PROMISING development ...or a development that HAS PROMISE going forward .. It may not really move the stock higher but we all hope this NEW thing will . When they spoke of a new development a while back that was to be shared at a shareholder call a while back they built it up and then told us through I believe a press release for the first time about a new battery program called Endurion and then gave details in the shareholder call..The stock never moved . This may be a similar event on the new development . The Endurion news didn't move the stock price at all but was a promising development that was going to take time to work on. Hopefully this new development, a Corporate development ,which can sometimes mean partnerships or acquisitions, mergers etc will be big news and move the stock price higher . Time will tell..Either way it sounds good to me on the surface !! BULLISH ON THESE DEVELOPMENTS !!
.... today announced it will postpone its planned January 11, 2024 shareholder call to a later date, as the Company seeks to finalize and incorporate details of
new, promising corporate developments into the presentation.
The Coretec Group leadership appreciates the patience from investors and stakeholders and looks forward to. 1) sharing notable developments, 2) including the latest news on the Endurion program, in the near future.
If Armistice is the one doing most of the selling they are probably trying of get rid of the last 12.5 million shares they got from the pre funded warrants because they probably don't have many left. Then they can pick up another 12.5 million shares to sell into any news. Its been about a year since they got the 12.5 mil. They have 38.5 mil left of pre funded warrants. I would like to see some BIG NEWS NOW before they pick up any more shares from those warrants. They can only have 4.99% of the outstanding share count so they have to get rid of these first. In mid Feb we may see how many shares they are holding as they have to post all their holdings in all companies
The Government CHIPS ACTS FUNDING application deadlines are from Dec 1 2023 to Feb 1 2024 . Coretec said a while back they were talking to 2 large semi conductor companies who would have to be a partner in the application whom they would work with if they get the funds. I would like to know how that application process is going . I may send Coretec a question and see if they respond in the next shareholder call. The funds are in part for supply chain needs being met n the US including materials made here in the USA.
Someone today said on another stock Forum that The Coretec Groups possibility of a Ford partnership was , " Crap " . They might listen to this podcast, from 3 months ago, where at just after the 22:40 Second mark the CEO of The Coretec Group Matt Kappers who said that CRTG was in discussions with FORD and that FORD would be testing CRTGs new silicon Anode . BULLISH !!! Great things ahead for CRTG !!!! Now last week CRTG said that they will be sharing a new Corporate Development soon !!!
https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/how-to-10x-your-battery-capacity-with-matt-kappers/id1580441929?i=1000629289373
Keep an eye out for another SEC filing by Armistice in getting more of those pre-funded warrants they have 38.5 million left but can only have 4.99 % of Coretec outstanding share count at a time .
I believe that an institutional investor ( like Armistice ) can make a pre-arranged deal to sell large amounts of stock to another investor at a set price . Armistice could be the one doing just that. I don't know but know one else has that many shares who would sell stock like that as I see it. I believe you might have posted something about that or maybe I just read it somewhere but I believe that to be correct .
In February Armistice has to update their holding so we can see how many shares they have left of the 12 million they started with last Feb, 2023
short interest CRTG I don't know how accurate this is ...Also Armistice is probably selling shares they had 13 million plus in Feb 2023 and 38.5 million of the pre-funded warrants left to sell in the future. it will take some big news to move through this wall of shares.
https://fintel.io/ss/us/crtg
https://fintel.io/so/us/crtg SCROLL Down here and see Armistice holding last Feb they are the hedge fund that gave Coretec 6 million dollars of which $ 900,000 plus remains. They should be holding a much lower number odf shares by now but then may excessive their other per-funded warrant which can only be about 12.5 million at a time due to restrictions
This is really nit picking here but the hand is the same in both videos at least it looks very and they hold the pen exactly the same similar.. Coretec may have gotten the idea from Ford ...
Yes indeed !! I updated my pot a bit to make that as plain as I can but it looks like they are in step with Ford
To sum it up Coretec said today ...Coretec leadership would like to mention that there has been significant progress and technical milestone achievements with the Endurion program. Coretec’s hierarchical design approach of its silicon-based anode material has progressed into full coin cells, with variations of both LFP and NMC cathodes. These batteries continue to improve on initial capacity and cycle test results while maintaining stability. In addition, Coretec continues to refine its manufacturing process with an eye on scalability, cost-effectiveness, and use of precursors that are widely available.
Coretec has already stated in a podcast ( Coretec CEO Matt Kappers )that they are in discussions with Ford and Ford will test Coretec silicon anode and they are developing the same batteries Coretec is working on in their own lab and in this video Ford explains their LFP and NMC batteries which we all hope will have Coretecs silicon anode in Ford EVs
There is a video on Fords website that explains how Fords to types of batteries the LFP and NCM battery designs works with a cartoon video just like Coretec Endurion video explaining its video . The update today by Coretec about their 2 types of battery the LFP and NCM battery designs was important to know about as Coretec has stated the they are in discussions with Ford and that Ford will be analyzing Coretecs new silicon anode materials for their battery at some point which is a LFP and NCM battery as you will see in Fords battery video . That would be the reason Coretec is making a battery with the same materials as Ford so that they both know how this new battery from Coretec performs with the same materials in it as Fords battery and obviously because Ford needs a better anode for this type battery . Coretec pointed out that the anode will be a plug in play in the battery it goes into ... Nice enjoy the video ...you have to scroll down a bit to watch it mid page ...

The Coretec Group is excited to share more updates with you as the month progresses. Be sure to follow ..... I like this statement from the update today. It could mean there will be some kind of news come out about this new corporate development when this is finalized or at least a date given by months end on the shareholder call.
Material news event I would think should be announced in an 8K and press release . Could they announce a Material News Event in the shareholder call first ? I wouldn't think so . If we don't get an 8K or press release before the meeting it might just be something other than that but time will tell. Question is can they announce big changes at the shareholder call and bypass 8Ks and a press release about this if it is consider material news . Any thoughts What is and isn't material news ???

KEY TAKEAWAYS ( from this article on material news )
Material news includes information such as corporate events, earnings results, stock splits, and all other price-sensitive developments in a company.
The release of material news can move the share price of a company's stock, either up or down, depending on the news.
The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has rules around when a company can release material news.
Material news is different from material insider information, which is information that has not been made public but will affect a company's share price.
Many investors and funds have trading strategies based on material news.
What are these rules ??? And how is material news to be released , if indeed it is a material news event ??
University of Adelaide website has the new paper published by Dr Wei and Dr heide . . On their Advanced photonics site from Dec 7 . It has to do with their new invention involving telulite ? Spelling ? glass with one application in lasers and 2 others. Of course CSpace uses a laser to project the image inside the glass. I didn’t post it but it’s easy to find.

Key to details of next call : ...NEW developments probably NOT specific to Endurion because it says , " ...sharing notable developments ( one topic ) including the latest on Endurion ( 2nd topic ) soooo.. I could be about Cspace funding or continued partnership with Adelaide or a new player interested in C-Space or semi conductors as they were speaking to to 2 major companies about a partnership for semi conductor funding or a deal with someone for LEDs which they have talked about or Eindhoven U or the French alternative group developments and new partnerships or a merger with someone as they have sought that out in the past but where looking for better shareholder valued deal .. WE will find out probably in the next 30 days or so ..
ANN ARBOR, Mich., Jan. 08, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Coretec Group (OTCQB: CRTG), developers of silicon anode active materials for lithium-ion batteries, and cyclohexasilane (CHS) for EV, cleantech, and 3D display technology, today announced it will postpone its planned January 11, 2024 shareholder call to a later date, as the Company seeks to finalize and incorporate details of new, promising corporate developments into the presentation.
The Coretec Group leadership appreciates the patience from investors and stakeholders and looks forward to sharing notable developments, including the latest news on the Endurion program, in the near future.
This is a promising update with a clear evidence that Coretec is moving forward it looks like to me a partnership with someone as the words , " seeks to finalize and incorporate details of a NEW promising developments...Sure sounds like another companywants to ink a deal with Coretec and thy just need to finalize it ! Finalize a new deal !!! Very good update even without a call ...I like it ..
