Excellent videos on the work at Eindhoven U if you want you can just go to falling walls foundation and search Erik backers videos !!
Pegs they said several months ago that they got the equitment they needed and were working with CHS. It was in one of the conference calls you might look it up
Interesting stuff from the research lab on photonic chips

I meant Coretecs CHS in the last post !! Not CGS
I remember Bakkers saying that Coretecs CGS could be a game changer.
Erik Bakkers is in the Introduction video at this newly developed EHCI institute. He is a director at the new institute. Also below a link to an article about the new 1.1 billion Euro investment into tne development of Photonic chips at University Eindhoven with lots of good links to read. Erik Bakkers for one is trying to develop light emmission from direct bandgap SiGeand then a SiGe nanolaser something that IBM needs . He is a partner with IBM , Microsoft and Phillips. IBMs web site talks about needing SiGe lasers. I remember Bakkers saying that Coretecs CGS could be a game changer.

Dr. Erik Bakkers, Full Professor at TU/e in the Applied Physics Department will lead the research. Dr. Bakkers is one of the world’s foremost researchers in the field of
nanomaterials including studies of higher order silanes, nanowires, and light emission from silicon. Dr. Bakkers’ lab has the capability to perform side-by-side comparisons of deposition characteristics of CHS and other silicon precursors and to properly characterize and assess film qualities of all such comparisons.
”For the growth of light-emitting silicon, it is important to work at an as low as possible temperature. CHS could be a game-changer,” said Dr. Bakkers.

The demonstration of a Hex-SiGe nanolaser will serve as a game-changer for transforming the electronics industry.
From a OneD battery science patent: They use SiH4 and temperatures of 300 to 900C. Coretec uses CHS SI6H12 as a starter ( liquid )silicon source not a gas silicon like SiH4 which Coretec have already stated CHS is better. And our emperature range is far lower.
https://patents.justia.com/patent/10862114
Of one advantage, among others, the system and manufacturing method of the present application achieves utilization or conversion of the Si source material (e.g. Silane) to Si nanowires approaching 100%. In some embodiments, utilization of the Si source material is in the range of about 30-100%, or in the range of 30-99.5%, and more usually in the range of about 70-99.5%. In one exemplary embodiment, Si nanowires are grown in the system described herein using the following conditions: temperature of about 300-900° C., silane concentration of about 5-100% in the process gas mixture of: SiH4 of about 5-100 wt. %, He (or Ar or N2) of about 0-50 wt. %, and H2 of about 0-50 wt. %, at a growth time in the range of about 10-500 minutes. The aforementioned conditions and tumbler rotation are preferably controlled by computer with automatic software for the production.
Ive followed Amprius as well for several years before they had a web site . They didnt have much news out for years. Ive read some of their patents and they use Gaseous silanes like SiH4 monosilane and other gas based silanes which is what Coretec wants to repalce . Maybe some day it will read , " silicon source used CHS " !!
https://patents.justia.com/patent/20220115650 publication date April 2022
Just above the Experimental heading you will find this statement
Any appropriate silicon source may be used for the non-conformal and conformal silicon layers, including silane (SiH4), dichlorosilane (H2SiCl2), monochlorosilane (H3SiCl), trichlorosilane (HSiCl3), and silicon tetrachloride (SiCl4) to form the silicon layers. Depending on the gas used, the amorphous silicon layer may be formed by decomposition or a reaction with another compound, such as by hydrogen reduction. According to various embodiments, the same or a different silicon source may be used for the each of the layers.
Also : https://patents.justia.com/patent/11289701 another patent from Amprious , This one says date of patent March 2022
All Amprious patents https://patents.justia.com/assignee/amprius-inc
Amprius (AMPX) is the company Coretec mentioned in the last conference call as a company similar to Coretec . They have a silicon anode as well but I believe Coretecs Silicon anode will be better. Amprius just went public last week and trades at about 10.00 dollars a share and as high as 26 Bucs . They have 85 mil OS shares and a 900 million dollar or so market cap .One day I think Coretecs stock will soar as well !!!

Hopefully we will be getting an update on the progress made by Richmond chemical and Far Chemical . With both producing CHS and Richmond having had months to get traction i would think its getting very close to shipping out small amounts as they said they would and Coretec may have already had small amounts shipped out and havnt let shareholders know yet . I anticipate they are at least very close.
This says, "Positions us well for continued and more advanced analysis .... with potential customers and partners" Coretec said a while back many of the cutomers waned more data on CHS before they order CHS to test for their product application. Im wondering if Coretec will now be shipping out CHS to some of those customers since we have good results from the CEA that authenticates CHS .
“While only a first step, we are pleased with the initial results of our CHS testing with The CEA, positioning us well for continued and more advanced analysis that we hope to demonstrate with potential customers and partners,” said Dr. Ramez Elgammal, Chief Technology Officer at The Coretec Group. “There is still much more to discover, but these preliminary test results demonstrate a promising future for the use of CHS in developing lithium-ion batteries.”
There is always the possibility of silicon anode companies who need a better silicon product in their anode end up licencing the use of Coretecs silicon anode materials
New materials could lead to increased value for Coretec but this will take awhile to play out. Coretec has talked about M/A with another company for a while with revenue. They have also referred to the need for collaboration with others to get the job done . I expect this to possibly happen . They are working on funding to keep us moving forward as well . How long that takes is important . I believe they started working on the quite some time ago. I do believe there could be some news come out as Coretec makes progress that could move the stock price up considerably at a more near term time line. Start ups stock moves are interesting to monitor and moves up in stock price ( or Down ) happen often fairly quickly with these kind of new companies but Coretec has a lot of good going on in so many areas as they work on increasing IP, patents etc.. and a M/A could take place or funding and a big partnership new discoveries with our partners at Eindhoven and the CEA or developments with C-Space like a new partnership or something ...who knows they have a lot going on in areas of technology that is generating huge amounts of interest from the investment community and Government as you know. Coretec is in a very hot business sector right now in BIG need of advancements in materials in the US. I believe the best is yet to come for Coretec. We need to see bigger interest in Coretec generated and become known in a bigger way and in time I believe that can happen with more positive news coming out . Coretec is moving forward and are getting closer to sharing Data from the Enduring project with potential partners one would assume. Those events could be big for Coretec and its shareholders as well as their partners and the World !!
Additionally, the testing found a unique hybrid of composite materials, consisting of both nanowires as well as nanoflakes, when using CHS as a silicon source.
Good news today its nice to see they even had unexpected results that could lead to future applications .
." Additionally, the testing found a unique hybrid of composite materials, consisting of both nanowires as well as nanoflakes, when using CHS as a silicon source."
“The unique low-temperature reactivity of CHS is really promising,” said Dr. Pascale Chenevier. “It opens unexpected new latitude to tune both the nanostructure and chemical composition of our composites for enhanced cycling.”
"The Coretec Group and The CEA will embark upon further research to test CHS’ ability to grow nanowires, in addition to further exploring the potential of the newly developed nanoflakes. The Company will continue to disclose results and provide additional notable updates as they occur."
CHS is of course the starter material for many types of materials Coretec is creating for their anodes and other applications . They can scale up all the CHS they need it seems to me but then the added chemistry , doping CHS with others materials is part of the creation process . Silicon quantum dots can be used for anodes or LEDs , semi conductors . I think Coretecs has the potential to create a very large number of chemistries that could be patented with CHS as a starter material for many more applications than just anodes , semi conductors , photonic chips and LEDs printable and flexible electronics is another and there are others as well. Coretec is at the very begginning stages of creativity and development of new silane chemistries for next gen materials it looks to me . CHS = building blocks for new chemistries wherever silicon based materials are needed. They just have to be successful in the lab creating these new materials.
I just recently Clicked on the ABOUT tab at Coretecs web site , i ussually just clicked on the tabs below ABOUT when i put the cursor on ABOUT then i clicked on the word ABOUT and found more about CHS info though you may have seem this already : https://thecoretecgroup.com/about/
The Coretec Group is using our unique silicon-based precursor materials as the building blocks for these anodes in such a way to make these technologies more efficient, cost-effective, and easier to use.
The Coretec Solution
Our Cyclohexasilane (CHS) silicon precursor delivers six times the silicon in one molecule. The Coretec Group is at the forefront of this space, finding ways to increase yields, improve performance, lengthen battery life cycles, and propel the industry forward.
Battery and Product Development
The Coretec Group operates a fully functional wet lab in Ann Arbor, Michigan where the team develops cyclohexasilane (CHS), creates silicon quantum dots, and creates silicon-anode active materials for lithium-ion batteries.
Thats good stuff , I did notice Coretec has a new tab on its web site under the technology tab and beside the Endurion tab called, " silicon anode " you may have seen . I just noticed it a couple of days ago though it may have been there a while. It describes Coretecs Silicon anode with charts , pictures , drawing etc.. good stuff let me know what you think
https://thecoretecgroup.com/technology/endurion/silicon-anode/
Shorter term Coretec should be seeing some excellent new partnerships and maybe a merger .Endurion battery Data being made available to customers and potential customers in the near future is a good possibility which could advance the future of batteries for EV , mobile devices , space exploration and military applications as well as next gen. semi conductors. C-Space commercialization is getting closer to reality if they can get the right glass for the C-Space image chamber. Great things ahead for Coretec !!
joanders , Below is part of a post you made back in April 2007 when the company was 3Dicon . I first invested in first keating Corp ( later 3Dicon ) in 1999. I was out of 3Dicon at one point after the stock price moved up in 2006 but got back in years later before the Coretec merger.
You stated " Have been around for some time. This is my baby for the long term. I'd say mid-retirement range 5-15 years out there."
Well, my friend its now 15 years later , 2007 to 2022 and here you are . I think you are in a good position as we all are to see some great things with Coretec ! Time will tell . Have a good day !
https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4358-2162
Scroll down to funding and to the right click on the - Show more details tab and it shows the project goals for a sulfur battery with a graphite free silicon anode. Whats interesting here is that these entries for this @BoSS program were added 5-30-22 and Pascale Chenevier is involved in this project . She is the person with the CEA and they partnered with Coretec a year ago . look specifically at the #4 graphite free silicon anode and cobalt free as well
https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Pascale-Chenevier this is another project for solid state batteries with a silicon anode she is involved in as well Remember Coretec said the CEA said that Coretec CHS had the highest yields and lowest deposition temperatures of any silicon the CEA had tested. Im wondering if the Coretec Group will be a part of these programs
it doesn't say anything about CHS or Coretec but it still could be a possibility Coretec could end up being involved
Interesting from Michelles " likes" on her linkedin page it looks like Umicore is a company whose Cathode is something Coretec may see some interest in. Maybe it goes well with Coretecs Anode. They also are big on recycling lithium battery materials to be reused in new batteries.
I noticed on Michelle Tokarzs linkedin page she posted a like for a company called Umicore and there booth number at the battery show this week booth 3021 .They are a billion dollar company that specializes in Cathode materals for lithium ion battery and many other products
Anyway to read the article posted on Coretecs linkedin from business insider on 17 start ups recently without having to get a subscription to business insider which is what they require ?
Be sure to check out this article in Business Insider featuring an overview of Coretec’s work with #SiliconAnodes and quoting our own Michelle Tokarz on the anodes' ability to bring #EVbatteries to the next level of performance.
https://lnkd.in/d7b-PzR3
Thanks very interesting read !
Do you have a link to the patent publication ? When was this filed ? thanks
That is a huge statement , CHS is the best they have found at this time that's big news . Cant wait to here what is next at CEA for Coretec
CEA preliminary results indicated that CHS has the lowest deposition temperatures and highest yield to date. CEA was able to successfully grow nano wires and flakes. CRTG will have an update on the CEA results soon.
News article out today on Coretec silicon anodes and possibilities of Coretecs silicon replacing the need for as much lithium in an EV battery.
Its good to see an insider in the company buying stock at the current prices. Thats a vote of confidence from Coretecs management .
I noticed that Coretecs Michelle Tokarz is a CO - Owner of Cantilever which her brother Steve Tokarz started 6 years ago and she's a managing partner. She's a very busy person to say the least. Cantilever is located at the Michigan Innovation Headquarters in Ann Arbor where Coretec is working out of. They help start ups get their products to market from management to funding opportunities . The founder and manager of the Michigan Innovation headquarters ( started in 2015) Mark Smith is on the team at Cantilever. Taking new tech from Universities in Michigan and others is a big business and I looks like Cantilever is a big part of that . Coretec never mentions a partnership with Cantilever but we are a partner with the Michigan Innovation Headquarters. Michele Tokarzs has tons of experience with start ups and her brother as well. They are a very successful family in this field. Michael Kraft has a good foundation in Michigan as well where there are lots of opportunities to be found for start ups like Coretec. I wish someone would do an interview with her on what's going on at Coretec . Michael Kraft has done interviews like that and they were very insightful. But most importantly Coretec is doing conference calls now at the end of each quarter which is very exciting for shareholders to be a part of !!! Hopefully they will announce the date of the call soon .
https://cantileverinvestors.com/bios/michelle-tokarz
With the quarterly report out I would think they will announce the date and time of the shareholder call soon .
Quarterly report is out
If they, merge with someone good the stock price may rise lets say to 50 cents or better and when the share exchange takes place the other company would be given shares according to the price at the closing of the merger . The last was at .002 on the announcement of the merger but ended up at like .007 when the 300 to 1 RS split hit and we opened around ,21 cents But if we are sitting at 50 cents when the merger closes and shareholders exchange takes place they will get less shares than if we are trading at .02 and their wont be a Split the way I see that scenario playing out. Coretec got 12 billion shares because we were trading at .007 at the time of the share exchange so the RS was done with 13.4 billion shares OS at 300 to 1 RS and we then started over with like 5 to 7 million OS shares I think . Now we are at 250 million OS
