Nano, what ever happened to ATKJ? You seemed to follow it a lot.
Any new trials or funding with this company? Any idea of shares, float and outstanding. Preferred and ... I can't find much on the company but the drug sounds pretty cool.
You can naked short a pinkie and who says you can't short a pinkie? By the way, I have shorted stocks in the past. But being a market maker and being able to jam shares down your throat by fail to delivers can happen at any level.
New Beatle Tapes found: Picture yourself in a boat on a river...wait, start over. Picture yourself cleaning out your father's attic, rifling through old pictures and various ephemera from your past life. Now picture yourself discovering a lost Beatles tape in that pile of memories. Priceless.
Well, not exactly. According to the Associated Press, a half-hour reel-to-reel tape from 1964 featuring The Beatles rehearsing and goofing will auctioned on Tuesday from Cameo Auctioneers, and most likely fetch 8,000-12,000 pounds. That's over $20,000 U.S. dollars, given our currently ludicrous exchange rate.
It was found buried in the attic by a man in northern England, who was going through his father's possessions. The tape features The Beatles clowning around while trying to nail "I'll Follow the Sun," and also includes versions of "I'm a Loser," "I Feel Fine" and more.
Others may shrug, but somewhere in the world, some Beatles collectors are wetting their adult diapers.
I don't see a monster down side other then I can't get the CEO to call me back about matchtime.com for a dating site. It was one for years and I bought the name rights last year. I don't see a lot of downside. Seems from what I read they are capitalized but like I said, very heavy market. You really need to be in the front running.
Sterling, I wish them luck here. They have a large curve to cross over with Facebook, Linkin and Myspace, and a few others ahead of them. Funny this is this is just what my company Autoclassifieds.tv was going to do with Ragingbull back in 1996.
I'll mention that in any good deal, both parties have to be happy with it. I recently bought something for a total cost of $82.00. I sold it for $110,000 this year. The buyer of my item feels he got a great deal and a steal. Perception of value is in the eye of the beholder.
I quoted it as I saw it.
Sorry to leave you all hanging. I was excited to talk with Scott during my lunch break but I got busy and haven’t been able to type anything up until now. I am being cautious with what I write, not because Scott gave me any ‘insider’ information, but because he asked not to be quoted on the boards publicly. I agree that it can be dangerous to divulge too much of conversations as it could open up opportunities for manipulation.
Thanks for talking to Scott and not telling anyone about what he publicly told you. I feel so much safer.... Now I won't sell or buy any shares since I certainly can't be sure which way is up.
kick.
Sterling, what made you look at pinksheets to check on CBAY? Thing has been dead for months.
If this doesn't move the stock to 10 cents or more today, I'll be very surprised. Buy early. Don't be afraid to take a profit on the way up.
Sterling, my guess is that they are selling shares some how. But to do that, they need to raise their authorized share count.
With Scott sitting on this amount of stock, his real money will be from the rise in the value of the stock. So the question is, who is buying?
All I see is buying in this stock. Wonder if Scott's father is doing the major buying to take the company over.
Good for you. In at .008. Out at .045. Couldn't ask for a better run. I was in at .002. Out at .009, bought back in at .008 and then said, screw it, roll the dice.....
Just saw a digital sign on the NJ Turnpike. Amazing color. Wave of the future.
Sterling, I love you for SRSR and AWYI but RRL has an issue. It really looks like they are being shorted. No way out brother.
Sterling, personally, I think he outright lied to you.
No one is talking about Diluation????
Sterling, getting lied to is always a problem. Hey, he is a scam bag. He lies. Take it for what its worth. It sort of screamed out when he said he'll do what he has to so that he can keep his company alive and that his other friends and investors lost their investment. Maybe, he should read the writing on the wall. Maybe I should.
Sterling, this company should be trading .03 or abouts. As we watch this stock start trading heavy vol, and the stock going down, it disturbs me that the CEO seems to be in another world as far as the worth of the company and then states that there are no S8's or he is not selling shares. Personally, I'd rather hear he is and that he is raising money. If he being naked shorted and that stop for all day at the high blew my mind, means there was a lot of NSS'ing on the stock but as we saw on cmkx, both happened. He stated that he is sorry that his friends lost money in his company but he did what he had to do to keep it running. I wish him best. I think he will continue to do what he has to do.
Anyone see this as a current company with a market cap of 500K? Am I wrong here?
Scott Tobia, if you're out there, give Scott Neuman a call.
What time did the 10K come out?
I'll see if I can post a few more emails here. Anyone get a hold of Scott Tobia?
I can see Scott and dad now, "Son, have a seat, no talking business, this is xmas"!!
Weather, in my minor experience with stocks dating back to 1964, stocks rise on the thought of news and decline on the news. Look for a PR shortly. It sounds like it will be great.
You can touch it with my money. Feel free.
Hey, HCPC taking off a lot a rocket. I'm in at .0001. (Damn, got another at the ground up). No news other then Sterling.
Always amazed that the Stevia market isn't huge and how splendia it's it up instead. Stevia is perfectly natural. Every diabetic in the world should be taking it.
Actually, dealers buy and sell shares naked long and naked short all day long. They aren't required to settle for 3 days. Past that time, it becomes naked.....
The problem is MM's do it as a nature of the business. Market Makers haven't a true clue what is or isn't available. Their job is just to sell and buy shares and make a profit.
What a great business.....
Thanks. Had SRSR and finally sold everything today. Average was around .008. Can't complain. Nicest run I've had in two years other then cmkx. Bought at .0001. Sold at .0009.
Saw that did you. Had to beat himself over the head to get that deal.
Liked your board. Best wishes
Anyone call and get the currenty OS? Everytime I hear that the AS was reduced, the OS always seems to go up. Hope I'm wrong.
An interesting side product of the falling US Dollar. It gets too expensive to work the land in Canadian. Odd.
Made a few bucks, lost a few bucks with Willy. Like any good P and D, you have to see when to join and pray when to get out.
Talk to them about what? I own three companies and other then Autoclassifieds.com which is a completely different product (and one I just don't have time to work on myself)I don't see a fit. I'm very tired of the car business. I'd rather play poker semi professionally.
Actually, the MM's can do just about anything they want. They control the ebb and flow the stocks they deal in. It's a fixed game and for now, they are happy to take the commissions from the trades from what it looks like.
As a side note. I was the number one salesperson for Mazda and Honda in the Northeast for many years selling about 1000 new cars per year. I was also the first person to bring online sales of autos to the marketplace back in the mid 90's with full color pictures and info for customers to make buying decisions and also started Autoclassifieds.com
Dealer Advances product will probably be an easy sale to the dealers if they have the sales people to make the contact. With mega francheses and huge amounts of cars on the lot, this becomes a godsend to a dealership. I think they are light on their numbers and with some major press and the trade show coming up, I think we'll see a very profitable company and a potential to reach a $1.00 per share without a huge problem in the two years.
I got in a little late but from my 13 years in the business, they have a hell of product that might be without equal in the market place. The smart dealers will buy it. The other dealers will continue to be happy selling 20 cars a month.. LOL.
Anyone know Scott's background as far as education. Seems like Teck is a family business and Scott isn't part of it?
