Well, not exactly. According to the Associated Press, a half-hour reel-to-reel tape from 1964 featuring The Beatles rehearsing and goofing will auctioned on Tuesday from Cameo Auctioneers, and most likely fetch 8,000-12,000 pounds. That's over $20,000 U.S. dollars, given our currently ludicrous exchange rate.
It was found buried in the attic by a man in northern England, who was going through his father's possessions. The tape features The Beatles clowning around while trying to nail "I'll Follow the Sun," and also includes versions of "I'm a Loser," "I Feel Fine" and more.
Others may shrug, but somewhere in the world, some Beatles collectors are wetting their adult diapers.
Because winning really is the only thing. Losers say everything else.
