The people of both Beirut and Paris are in my prayers.
I only wish the governments of the world would have gotten together in Syria two years ago instead of in Libya and squashed Isis and created a no fly zone where Assad could not continually bomb and use chemicals on his own people.
Khadafy , who regardless of his brutal ways and past terroristic actions, had in fact become an ally of the western world and a source of helpful information to the western intelligence communities over the past decade. He gave a royal reception to Condi Rice and countless western European leaders in the more recent years. He withdrew from his nuclear ambitions after he saw the fate of Saddam Hussein. He went out of his way to extend well wishes to Obama when he was first elected and praised the American people for electing someone of African heritage.
Yet, simply on the "threat" , not actual action yet, that Khadafy would bomb and obliterate what he termed radical al-quaeda and other radical insurgents , the US and the western world were quick to align against him to topple him. Now you see the result as Libya is like the wild west and a bastion for many extreme groups. The Benghazi debacle was also an end result of this policy. Bush cannot be blamed for Libya. Libya was an ally under Bush. Bush can certainly be blamed for Iraq. But yet this administration who so sharply has blamed Bush(rightfully) for Iraq and continues to do so to this day, obviously learned nothing from it as they went ahead and destabilized Libya the exact same way.
Yet on the other hand you had Syria bombing his people and not just threatening but actually crossing the red line and using chemicals on his people , and even if you don't believe that he used chemicals , its indisputable he slaughtered his own people.
Yet there was no alliance of world powers at the time doing anything of substance to stop it. The US and other western leaders procrastinated for two years before they even had a semi-coherent policy. We allowed Isis to establish a base in Iraq and Syria and to grow. Days like the last couple in Beirut and Paris are a result. The so-called Jayvee Team has proven to be much more than that and its time the world get together and destroy them by any and all means. Evil must be confronted. We had to confront Hitler. We have to confront this. The barbaric acts being committed every day against the people in the territories they hold needs to be crushed.
Many countries had no problem getting together to take out Khadafy. They need to get together again for this cause which is much more just than the reasons they went after Libya. Whatever mistakes have been made by whoever is over and done. The world needs to act now. The world need to put this group on the run and the defensive as was done to al-quaeda where they were all on the run and hiding in caves and elsewhere. I agree with the French President that the response must be merciless. That's all these people understand.
I agree with whoever here said that its not the fault of the refugees and they are simply fleeing from this same sort of terror. Can terrorists sneak in with these refugees moving throughout the world, I would guess yes. But the best way to solve this refugee crisis is for the world to get together to destroy and eradicate this evil from the areas they control. If the world does this, these refugees can return home.
We can never eradicate this type of evil all together as is evidence with al-quaeda but the world can certainly get together and weaken them dramatically and send them into hiding and on the run. It would have been much easier to do this two years ago before they were as established and dug into the various areas , but the world must do it now nonetheless.
It would be nice if MTLI issued another dividend to its loyal shareholders. If MTLI has actually received the payments due for Golden Chest according to the last know terms of the deal, then they should have enough cash on hand now to at least double the size of the last dividend issued.
Yep , saw that last year about the MTLI zinc property that Teck leases.
If MTLI ever chose to sell those mineral rights and properties outright , they can get huge bucks. In addition they are supposedly getting cash yearly from the Golden Chest sale.
Although if you follow the NJMC , and MOZ(Canada) press releases, you would see there has been some recent news on Golden Chest there.
Bottomline, this company has a clean balance sheet, supposedly cash coming in and real assets in these properties and rights.
The big concern I have right now is there has been no update to financials at the company website since 2013. Hope that it not because the buyers of Golden Chest are not making the payments. The terms of the payments were already changed once but we have gotten no updates or news since then. According to the terms , they should have a lot more cash on hand now then they did when the last dividend was paid to shareholders. Hopefully they got this cash and hopefully management has not been taking it all for themselves.
its more unlikely than ever that the dinar will increase greatly in value. With Isis controlling a large chunk of the country and that doesn't look like its going to change anytime soon, and with Iran having a major influence on the Iraqi govt., its impossible for the currency to increase in a civil war torn country
The DNC denied they uninvited her but Gabbard re-confirmed today that the DNC in fact uninvited her to the debate. She is not going to make that sort of thing up. The DNC lied and they know damn well they told her not t show up. Just because she called for more debates and likely for her critique of Obama. What is this the Nazi party. No longer a big tent? I give Bernie Sanders a ton of credit for standing by her.
If I run , it will be as a Democrat but not the kind you like. It will be as a John Kennedy, Howard Baker, Bob Casey Sr. democrat. The kind that doesn't exist anymore. Actually I could work with the kind of dems you like but they would not work with me as they are not really the inclusive party anymore that they pretend to be.
I like Jim Webb but he has no chance. I hope Biden runs because I believe he is a much better person and leader than either Hillary or Sanders. He is also smarter and more experienced than both of them even though some like to make him out to be a clown. I also think he will work more with the other side for the good of the country than his current boss does. He will be a better leader than Obama or any of the current dem candidates. he is more of an old school dem and that's why I like him.
Wow Zaid Jilani.
Zaid Jilani is an American blogger and campaigner for the Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC), which is also known as BoldProgressives.org. Born and raised in Georgia to parents of Pakistani origin, he attended the University of Georgia, where he helped found its first progressive newspaper. Prior to working for PCCC, he was a blogger for ThinkProgress, a blog for the Center for American Progress. In 2011, he had been working as a campaigner for the Democrats
I guess since Jilani can make such demeaning remarks about Gabbard and how her thoughts must be shaped by her ethnicity and whoever contributes to her, then its equally fair for me to say that Jilani must be an Indian hater because of his Pakistani heritage and probably also one who supports the radical extremists within Pakistan. I guess that's why he also supports Obama who was also of muslim heritage. I guess its all based upon ethnicity, religion and who gives you donations according to Jilani's logic
That's nice. The writer incorrectly labels this smart free thinking American woman as an Islamaphobe just because she doesn't strictly follow a certain agenda.
How insulting to woman that they cannot have their own ideas. She has a better grasp on that region of the world than most. He has the never to assume all of her free thoughts must be shaped by the BJP. Why that's no different and even a much further stretch than trying to link Obama's thoughts to that of Rev. Wright and the other many radicals that supported his campaign. Its a shame her own party goes after this strong smart lady because she has her own thoughts and doesn't fall in line like a stepford wive.
How demeaning.
That's why I don't support my own party (dem) much anymore as they are not really the big tent party they claim to be. They don't accept different points of view like they claim to. They are more racist than the other party
Correct, she opposed the type of action Obama called for and correctly predicted its failure. Interesting that this young lady had more vision than the President. Presidents are elected to get it right the first time.
Keep digging into her statememts after this older one. You are getting warm
I know Obama rejects the no fly zone despite some of his advisors suggesting it. He would and the UN would rather see the poor Syrian people get the shit bombed out of them from all sides.
He much prefers the mass exodus of people out of Syria and Libya into Europe and all over the world including here which will bring its own set of problems.
Or like in the Sudan where the govt. is allowed to shell its own people.
I cherish woman. Hahahahaha
That part was not gross exaggeration. The ruins of Palmyra have been destroyed as far as I am concerned. Don't take my word for it. Take a look at the before and after pictures of the ancient ruins. To say that pieces have survived means that Palmyra has not been destroyed to me would be the exaggeration. But we will have to respectfully disagree on that one.
as Hillary would say, what difference does it make
Assad gets no pass from me although even Assad who I have despised for decades is looking a little more desirable than Isis although neither side gets a pass for their actions from me.
Its unclear if it would be safer under McCain because McCain would have taken out Assad early on when he put chemicals on his own people. But then Isis and other radicals would have still filled the vacuum of Assad. Palmyra may have been safer under that scenario as McCain would have then had to keep boots on the ground which might have kept Palmyra safe but would be a problem for the US in and of itself and would tie us up in Syria for a long time which is a problem.
I believe a good alternative to what McCain would do and what Obama did(or didn't do) would have been to install a nofly zone early on over Assad so he could not continue to bomb the innocent. At the same time employ a much stronger more concentrated ongoing airstrike campaign against Isis which I think could severely cripple Isis. Our allies in the area like Jordan and Egypt have complained our strikes have been to too few and far between. Obama should have rallied many countries like he unwisely did in Libya to topple Khadafy and destabilize that country. But if he rallied those same countries against Isis in Syria, this could have a devastating effect on Isis. Meanwhile keeping Assad in a box in the no fly zone.
Fuagf , much of the ancient runins and the temple have been destroyed. So to point out that some of the antiquities were saved is fine but the fact is Palmyra is no longer what it once was since Isis too over. So lets not try and split hairs over the tragedy of Palmyra.
As for the stinking lib comment , I apologize for that. I am not above apologizing ala Donald Trump. It kind of became easy for me to respond that way when certain posters here outright tell me to fuuck off, or describe my opinions as a Putin wet dream, or tell me I jerk off to Donald trump. Those type of replies to bring out an attack mode in me and frankly my stinking lib comment is pretty tame in comparison but I apologize nonetheless as you did not deserve that.
I think she has clearly spelled that out many times. She has repeatedly identified Al-Queda, Isis, Al_Nusra, the Taliban and others as "radical islam"
I am glad you put radical islam is quotes in your post because that is exactly what she calls them. She never identifies them as simply Islam or muslims because she knows the difference. She correctly identifies them as "radical" islam.
Go back and look up the multiple proposals and suggestions she has made on this subject over the past year. Its too bad the President doesn't listen to her.
By the way, she has also challenged Debbie Wasserman Shultz calling for more democratic debates. I like her because she is not afraid to challenge these clowns. She is right on that subject as well contrary to Shultz
Pentagon Map Hides Isis Gains

Your Atlantic article is a joke. Keep believing those links or what suits your agenda. That doesn't make it fact. If you believe your link, then you really have no clue what going on
Democratic Congresswoman Gabbard certainly has no trouble identifying our enemies as she claims our President does. Her statement is not related to Bush. Her statement reflect the issues we face today. I would say she has a firmer grasp on it than you and Obama
Yes, please do keep an eye on that. Interestingly enough, days after I posted that , Iraq's leader issued a statement calling for Russia to help in Iraq as well. Russia played coy in response but something tells me Iraq's not going to have to twist their arm. Looks like the plan coming together.
As far as my links? I don't need to cite links to have an opinion and express a thought. But apparently most here can't put together a single thought or opinion for themselves without such links
U.S. Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard: Russia is bombing al-Qaeda terrorists. Why is this a bad thing?
Meet the Democrat Who’s Not Afraid to Criticize President Obama on ISIS
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/meet-democrat-whos-afraid-criticize-president-obama-isis/story?id=29117774
President Obama has faced intense criticism from Republicans for his reluctance to label ISIS an “Islamic” group. But that’s not particularly remarkable.
More noteworthy is that a member of the president’s own party – from his home state – has taken repeated shots at him: Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii.
“The administration is misidentifying the enemy and their motivation,” Gabbard said on CNN earlier this week, calling the president’s emphasis on economic aspects of terrorism a “diversion.”

President Obama Rejects 'Notion That the West Is at War With Islam'
President Obama Says ISIS 'Not Religious Leaders, They are Terrorists'
Known as a rising political star, the Hawaii Democrat is one of the first two female combat veterans elected to Congress. She did tour tours in Iraq, and doesn’t hesitate to make her opinions known when it comes to defense issues. For instance, in 2013, she broke with the Obama administration by refusing to support airstrikes against Bashar al-Assad in Syria.
Perhaps because of her military background – and her political affiliation – Gabbard’s comments on ISIS have reverberated. The Republican National Committee was quick to release a statement this week saying, “even Democrats … aren’t buying what the President is selling.”
Obama acknowledged the debate on Wednesday.
“There’s been a fair amount of debate in the press and among pundits about the words we use to describe and frame this challenge,” he said. “I want to be very clear about how I see it: al Qaeda and ISIL and groups like it are desperate for legitimacy. They try to portray themselves as religious leaders, holy warriors in defense of Islam ... We must never accept the premise they put forward.”
Administration officials say focusing on extremists’ Islamic ideologies would only bolster the terrorists’ narrative that the U.S. is at war with Islam.

Ask the Experts: Does It Matter What We Call Our Enemies?
But Gabbard doesn’t appear to buy that argument. She has leveled criticism similar to this week’s more than half a dozen times.
“The administration still has not accurately identified our enemy,” she said in January after the president’s State of the Union address. “We must acknowledge that 9/11, as well as the recent violent attacks in Paris and elsewhere around the world, are rooted in Islamic extremism.”
A few days later, she asserted that the president and his cabinet are “completely missing the point of this radical Islamic ideology that’s fueling these people.”
In a Fox News appearance, she called Obama’s mentality toward the extremists, “mind-boggling.”
Some say it’s just semantics. Gabbard doesn’t agree.
“This is not just about words,” she said last month on Fox News. “It’s really about having a real, true understanding of who our enemy is.”
At an Armed Services Committee hearing earlier this month, Gabbard repeatedly pushed Defense Intelligence Agency Lieutenant General Vincent Stewart to identify terrorist intent.

“I think it’s important… that this identification of their motivation of this radical Islamic ideology is made very distinctly,” she told Stewart.
Although Gabbard has explicitly rejected the notion of a “religious war,” she said she believes labeling terrorists “Islamic extremists” could help non-Muslims see the divide between the peaceful Muslims and the radicals.
“This is clearly a war against this very specific faction of radical Islamic ideology,” Gabbard told Fox News.
Not everyone agrees with the congresswoman’s analysis – even on her own home turf. The editorial board of the Hawaii Civil Beat, an online newspaper founded by eBay chairman Pierre Omidyar, accused her of promoting “a few dubious ideas” devoid of “serious policy arguments.”
“The president’s public description of ISIS (or anything else, for that matter) serves as no necessary predicate for successful action of any kind,” the editorial board wrote this week.
Gabbard, who declined through a spokesman to comment to ABC News, has said publicly that her attitude toward Obama’s rhetoric is just a natural outgrowth of her military background.
“Military 101,” she said on Fox News. “If you are at war - which we are - you have to know who your enemy is to defeat them.”
Gabbard Chides Obama Over Syria Plan
The congresswoman from Hawaii says plan to train and equip moderates has been a “complete and utter failure.”
October 9, 2015 · By Chad Blair
U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, a member of the House Armed Services Committee, is not happy with the Obama administration’s policy regarding Syria.
On Friday, the president abandoned efforts to build a rebel force inside Syria to combat the Islamic State — a $500 million failure.
Instead, the White House will try to identify leaders of “capable, indigenous forces” in Syria — “the first time the Pentagon has given military equipment to rebel leaders to distribute to their forces engaged in fighting on the ground,” says The New York Times.
After the news broke, Gabbard issued a statement, which read in part:
“The complete and utter failure of this poorly conceived program was predictable from the start, which is why I spoke out strongly against it, and opposed it when it came before Congress last year. The Administration had no defined objectives, no effective strategy, and no way to ensure that these fighters and the weapons, ammunition, and equipment we provided them would not end up in the hands of ISIS, al-Qaeda, al-Nusra, and other Islamic extremist groups who are our enemy.
“Now, rather than end this failed program, the Administration has decided to continue providing equipment to so-called ‘moderate Syrian leaders’ who will give these weapons to whomever they like, increasing the likelihood that American taxpayer-funded weapons and equipment will end up in the hands of our enemy: al-Qaeda, al-Nusra, and ISIS, whose goal is to overthrow Assad and establish an Islamic state.”
The latest development comes as Russia has become militarily involved in keeping Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in power.

Who cares?
See, your questions to me tells the whole story fuagf.
You think it can only be Obama's way or McCain's way.
Don't point to me the ways of two complete morons(Obama and McCain) and tell me my answer has to be one of their moronic solutions.
I guarantee you FDR or Truman would not have allowed this to take place.
Why don't you start posting and linking some of the solutions proposed by a real Democratic leader like congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii and others who have some sensible suggestions to the Syria mess. Don't tell me I have to pick between the strategies of two morons. And don't point me to your politically slanted article links that pretend to be real journalism
Now Libya is a stinking mess thanks to Hillary spearheading the effort to topple Khadafy at the urging of her friend Sidney Blumenthal who had business interests In libya
Somehow I doubt PegnVa that Russia will be dumb enough to spend(piss away) 500 billion of US dollars to get nowhere against Isis and train about 5 rebels as the general testified before congress. Methinks Russia will get a lot more bang for the buck
Fuagf, no he should not have. What he should have done however is actually make some sort of attempt to do real airstrikes instead of the hapless infrequent strikes that did take place.
Also you cited another joke of an article that said Isis was being weakened? Another big lie and joke. They have advanced their holdings under Obama's failed policies.
Have you ever been to the ancient ruins in Palmyra , Syria fuagf?? I had the fortune to visit there many years ago. It was an incredible site and piece of history. Today it does not exist because of Isis and the failed policies of Obama, Kerry and Hillary. As I said its now been completely destroyed. Now if you have ever been there, then you would already know that Palmyra is in an isolated area that you can only reach passing through miles of dusty desert open roads. For Isis to have been allowed to travel through this isolated open area to reach Palmyra with its columns of tanks and soldiers is an utter disgrace. Its Obama and the worlds disgrace. With all of our advanced satellite imagery, we must have easily known of this advance before they took Palmyra and Obama and the world did nothing, all while we already had supposedly started our air campaign. I should say joke of an air campaign.
Don't give me any links to your silly little stories that don't have a clue whats really going on there or are fabricating these stories to help make Obama look better than the disgrace he has been in this area.
It doesn't mean as you stinking libs like to point out that the only alternative is McCain the war mongers plan. He is not correct either. I am a mainstream John Kennedy, Howard Baker, Sam Nunn, Fritz Hollings democrat and we need Dems like that today.
Now your lib links point out how tough Isis will be to defeat. Oh yeah really? We have not even begun to try. After all , how hard can it be to defeat the "JV" team?
Dale , were you referring to Iran or did you mean Iraq?
Russian military build-up in Syria ‘unprecedented,’ officials say
Published September 10, 2015
Sept. 7, 2015: Russian President Vladimir Putin, center, listens to a question during a meeting with his supporters in Moscow, Russia. (AP)
U.S. officials are expressing growing concern about Russia's military build-up in Assad-controlled Syria, calling it "unprecedented" -- with one telling Fox News it compares in scope to Vladimir Putin's incursion into Crimea.
"It's beginning to look like Crimyria," the official told Fox News.
Two U.S. officials who have reviewed the latest intelligence told Fox News that satellite imagery reveals more flights of massive Russian An-124 "condor" military cargo planes landing in Syria. They are offloading troops, including just under 50 Russian marines, and armored vehicles.
U.S. officials said the Russian activity in Syria is unlike any they've seen since the start of the Syrian civil war four years ago.
"This is definitely a build-up straight out of Russia's military doctrine," said one official.
The Russian government is not denying the build-up.
Russia's Foreign Ministry disclosed early Wednesday that Russian military experts indeed are assisting forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in that country's long-running civil war.
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told Reuters that advisers were assisting with Russian arms deliveries to Syrian government forces, which Moscow says are aimed at fighting Islamist militants. The spokeswoman did not give a precise number of Russian military personnel in Syria.
The exact extent of the build-up is unclear, but a U.S. official told Fox News that the Russians have constructed 100 additional housing units at a base near Latakia, a coastal city along the Mediterranean.
The Pentagon has not seen evidence that the newly arrived Russian troops are engaged in combat.
But the build-up is escalating despite Secretary of State John Kerry calling his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov over the weekend to voice "concerns" about Russian military presence.
In a statement released Saturday after Kerry's call with Lavrov, the State Department warned that Russia's continued actions could "further escalate the conflict" and "risk confrontation with the anti-ISIL Coalition operating in Syria."
The statement appeared to mark a change in policy from last week when the Pentagon and State Department initially welcomed Russia's increased involvement in Syria.
Vladimir Putin's government is aligned with Assad, whom the Obama administration wants out of power. But the administration also is boosting local forces fighting the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), and initially cast the stepped-up Russian involvement as contributing toward that anti-ISIS effort.
White House spokesman Eric Schultz said Wednesday that the administration, though, does have deep concerns about reports Russia may have deployed military personnel and aircraft in Syria.
He said the administration is monitoring the situation closely.
Fox News' Lucas Tomlinson and Jennifer Griffin contributed to this report.

Direct and Control? I agree , but an ally in some case like in the case of Isis , yes. I have no disagreement with your post.
Erdogan questions Russian motives in Syria, says will ask Putin to reconsider air strikes

Erdogan: Turkey will not allow ’fait accompli situations’ next to its borders
Erdogan: Turkey will not allow ’fait accompli situations’ next to its borders
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has criticized Russia's air strikes in Syria saying they target moderate rebels fighting against President Bashar al-Assad and vowed to express his concerns to Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
“Russia does not have borders with Russia. I, on the other hand, have a 911-kilometer border with Syria and I am bothered by what is happening [inside Syria]. Turkey is currently taking care of 2 million people from Syria. They did not go to Russia; we are taking care of them, not Russia," Erdogan said in remarks broadcast on al-Jazeera television late on Friday. “Why is Russia taking such an interest in Syria? This is what I want to understand.”
Erdogan and Putin have maintained warm ties throughout the Syrian civil war despite their deep differences on how to resolve the Syrian crisis.
The Turkish president's criticism of Russia follows the start of Russian air strikes in Syria last week. Moscow says it hits the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) targets but Turkey and the Western countries including the US are concerned that the Russian strikes target rebels fighting against Assad to prop up the Syrian regime.
“We have heard that 65 people were killed in air strikes they [Russians] carried out yesterday [Thursday]. Where? In Hama, Homs and around Aleppo. This is very striking. Because Russia says in a statement to our embassy that it will carry out operations against Daesh [ISIL]. But it targeted the opposition that fights against the regime, not Daesh, and the civilians were killed in the process. And they ignore the deaths of civilians,” Erdogan told al-Jazeera.
He said he would discuss his concerns with Putin, asking him to reconsider policy. “Since we are two friendly countries, I will ask him to revise their steps,” he said.
In a joint statement released by the Turkish Foreign Ministry, the US, Turkey, Britain, France, Germany, Qatar and Saudi Arabia called on Russia on Friday to stop its air strikes aiming to help Assad's regime against Syrian opposition and urged Moscow to focus on fighting ISIL.
“We express our deep concern with regard to the Russian military buildup in Syria and especially the attacks by the Russian Air Force on Hama, Homs, Idlib since yesterday [Thursday] which led to civilian casualties and did not target Daesh,” said the statement, adding that the Russian strikes “constitute a further escalation and will only fuel more extremism and radicalization.”
Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu also criticized the Russian strikes, saying in a televised interview late on Friday that there were no ISIL targets in Hama or Homs where first Russian air strikes took place.

Russia does not want Iran except as an ally
Dale, I said that they want oil in Iraq, not IRAN and maybe you meant to say that. But either way, I agree with you and support anyone who will get rid of thugs like that who behead, crucify, light on fire, rape, destroy and suppress. So I say more power to them if they do what the US along with its allies should already have done well over a year ago and may have prevented many of these refugees flooding all over the world.
I don't want Russia to grow deep roots in Iraq or Iran but I believe they will grab the Isis oil in Iraq. When you say no leverage on oil, I agree for today but that wont stop someone from going after oil because it wont stay low forever
What could I say, I'm good
Its fine F6 and I don't need to resort to that sort of childlike unnecessary comments to make my point.
What you do not get and it proves how little you understand the region, is that Syria and Iraq are absolutetly NOTHING like Afghanistan as far as difficult terrain, fighting will of the people and tactical experience of the leaders. Isis will run and fold just as fast as Sadaam Husseins regime ran and folded once actually confronted by an even bigger bully. Most likely even faster.
I am not a Putin fan at all so I'll ignore your infantile remark. I am simply telling you what will take place. How that makes me a Putin fan is beyond me but I never could understand the brainwashed msnbc'ers
One more thing on Isis. I think many (not all) media outlets and so-called experts are giving Isis too much credit as far as how easily they can be defeated. I think they can be defeated. Not eliminated altogether but defeated and removed from most of the areas its captured rather easily with a concentrated effort. Russia has the ability to do this. I don't believe the US ever really tried to do this. I believe we (the USA) pepper them here and there but never really tried or wanted to defeat them. I believe this administration wants to keep them just strong enough so that its civil war with Assad can continue and drag out.
I think Putin intends to crush all of the anti-Assad resistance in Syria and he has the firepower to do it.
I disagree with the articles assumptions. You cannot compare it to what the US has done with its air strikes on ISIS because the US by many accounts has done airstrikes very sparingly and not concentrated enough. I have heard many military analysts express disbelief of how few rounds of air strikes are done against ISIS in light of all of the atrocities they have committed. I do not believe that will be the case with Putin as he will use maximum strikes.
I also disagree with the premise that the articles says you cant use dumb bombs because of the innocent lives lost and collateral damage that would occur. Duhh, this is Putin's Russia we are talking about. He could give a rats ass about that stuff. He will keep Assad in power and he and Iran will eventually go for oil currently held by Isis in Iraq.
Just because the Washington Post writes something doesn't make it true. I also saw the Reuters piece and others that sounded the exact same way as the post. I know more than they forgot about the Middle East and I study that region more than most. My analysis when it comes to that region turns out right most of the time. Much more often than these so-called writers pretending to be experts.
Mark my word on one thing F6, Russia is going to go after that Isis oil in Iraq. They may take it all for themselves or may share with Iran but they will be taking it. You didn't read or hear that anywhere yet but from me and you will see I am proven correct. The media and Obama will eventually get around to figuring it out.
Putin shits on impotent Obama and Kerry once again. Russia on the military move in several parts of the world during the Obama administration which he has zero respect for.
They are laughing at Kerry and Obama as they sent their representative to Iraq with one hours notice before bombing started and told us to stay the hell out of their way knowing they can do anything they want with these weak stooges in charge.
They will wipe out all of the insurgents starting with the ones backed by the US and then they will attack Isis and the rest with help from Iran. Obama, Kerry and the media are too stupid to have figured this out yet but Russia will then move into Isis held areas in Iraq after they are done in Syria saying they need to wipe out their bases in Iraq that can launch back at Syria. Russian and Iran will share the oil now held by Isis. That is the real goal here in addition to building air and naval bases in Syria. We gave up all live and trillions of dollars and Russia will end up with oil.
How is that Russian reset going Hillary?? What a joke of an admin on foreign policy.
When Russia gets that oil , remember you heard it from old Leb first and I will back to rub it in your face and remind you
Haha I love it.
And they say Trump has bad tone and says crazy things. I think people like him because he is blunt. I think he should use your profound quote at the debate next week. He should say to the moderator "oh fuck off"
He would probably go up another ten points in the polls.
Now I know why Alan Dershowitz says you are a lightweight
