Durk, Trucks is dishonest, plain and simple. He has been making up stories since he has been on the board. None of his claimes ever come true. One of his favorite stories is to claim a partnership with De Beers. He has dropping the De Beers name since early 2006.

DEBEERS DEBEERS DEBEERS HOLD ON.
Yep, another winner. 503M shares and a price barely above a penny. Why the heck did they not do a reverse split?
billg, I voted for the proposals because the company finally seems to be on the right track. Now that I read your post and think about it, I am starting to regret my vote. Management is doing a good job, but do I really want to give them a blank check to print shares? I guess it is too late for me, but I think you are doing the right thing if you vote against some of the proposals.
Alex, it is disappointing to see lhsmith become so bitter. He seemed like a nice guy. Luckily he does not have much invested in this scam, so it will be a cheap lesson in penny stocks.
What do you think will be the next step for this scam. Another pump and dump? Or a new symbol and a reverse split?
Can't we all just get along? This board should not be about the personalities on this board; it should be about finding the truth about this company.
lhsmith, great post! Please allow me to quote you on some of my favorite lines:
"This "Metallurgica de Mineras S.A." is not a fake company, it's not a company at all. From what I can tell, it's the name of a department in a university in Mexico where Mr. Rodriguez was at one time affiliated."
"There was never a question, GPGD is UDVE."
"Regent is not going to produce a 43-101, they never claimed that they would. Regent is not going to buy GPGD."
"My advice is, if it comes to getting advice from Alex on investing your money, stay on your toes my friend."
lhsmith, granted, Alex was the poster who complained about my posts reviewing the history of UDVE. When stock_seker censured my posts, he said that GPGD had nothing to do with UDVE. This was apparently wrong, and no one spoke up exposing the truth. Alex is the first poster who has come out and said that this stock is still connected with the principals of the UDVE scam. So I have to condemn Alex for his previous actions and commend him for exposing the truth now.
Stock_seeker is the one who actually censured my posts. He did not have to listen to Alex. My posts asked perfectly valid questions, and I have since been vindicated. Stock_seeker should have listened to me instead of censuring me.
I have to disagree that Alex is suckering me. I owned this stock just one time, and I doubled my money. I do not plan to own it again unless the company can show something concrete like a NI 43-101 report verified by a reputable company. A fake assay by a fake company like "Metallurgica de Mineras S.A." does not hold water.
Amazing! Now I know why my posts that mentioned UDVE were censured. I was too close to the truth! If this is truely still a UDVE operation, then it is DEFINITELY as scam. UDVE was a proven scam.
Alex, I commend you for doing some DD and finding the truth behinde this new stock symbol. The slimy world of penny stocks need more people like you to do real research and expose the truth!
Alex, I did not know that RD still had such a vested interest in this scam. Certain people had claimed that this new stock symbol had nothing to do with UDVE. Now you say that the chief UDVE scam artist is still involved. Has anything really changed since the UDVE days?
Alex, I think I already know what RD would say. He was on the inside so he knows how pink sheet scams operate.
Alex, how old are you? Why would someone with your experience even waste time on a pink sheet scam like this?
As long as you stick with companies that report, you will come out ahead of anyone who invests in pink sheet pieces of sheet. I am beginning to think that a company that does not report is by definition a scam.
Alex, these things never disapear! They just keep reverse splitting, changing names, and lying to investors. Lucky for the pink sheet scams, there is a "new investor" born every minute!
Good one! There is no way I can top that post!
Has a drill rig even been sent yet? Probably not. Regent cannot even do their financial reports on time. How difficult is it to copy and paste last quarter's financial report? The company does not even have any income.
Not exactly the "leading Canadian-based mining concern with significant mining holdings within the country of Venezuela" that Grand Pacaraima had promised.
4 months with no news. This is pathetic. I own a real mining company that has earned $120M in the last 4 months. It pays to do research and buy real companies. There is no money in penny stock scams.

Penny stock scams are BAD investments! You are all but guaranteed to lose your money in the long term.
It is pretty hard to value a company that has not filed a decent quarterly report since a merger. I would say that the company was pretty much worthless before the merger. I doubt it has much value after the merger either. A Russian oil company is not going to just give itself away. I have seen these type of oil deals before, and they are usually scams. Maybe this one is different, but I doubt it.
Over Valued
I just got a post card in the mail advertising GZGT. I usually just throw these things out, but sometimes I look them up just too see how bad an investment they are. This one is bad but better than most. Here are the numbers:
Market cap = 53M shares x $1.84 = $98M
Sales (annualized based on last quarter) = $3.76M x 4 = $15M
Earnings (annualized based on last quarter) = $12.4k x 4 = $50k
P/S = 6.5
P/E = 1960
A P/S of 6.5 and P/E of 1960 are pretty high for a company that sells phone cards and cell phones! A P/S of 2 to 3 would put the stock price in the range of $.57 to $.85.
Best Bid: 0.011 (10000 shares)
Best Ask: 0.015 (10000 shares)
TRADE DATA Last Sale: 0.011
Volume: 3,000
Someone dumped 3,000 shares at $.011. That is $33. Sad.
Best Bid: 0.011 (10000 shares)

$550 million for a giant indoor pool! And Grand Pacaraima cannot scrape together a few bucks for a NI 43-101 compliant study of their properties.
That is the difference between a real company and a penny stock scam.
Life is so easy these days, people need a little excitement. However, jumping out of a perfectly good airplane is a little too much excitement for me. I will stick with losing a few hundred bucks on blackjack tables!
If you live close to a casino, my advice is NEVER GO IN. If you like it, you might keep going back, and you will go broke.
Gambling is fun, but it is a great way to give away money. The house always has an advantage. Games of chance do not exist to give people money.
Penny stocks are just another kind of casino with really bad odds. They only reason they exist is to take people's money. No one ever lists a penny stock thinking he wants to help make money for the investors.
Just got back from Las Vegas. I lost some money gambling, but it was fun, and I got lots of free drinks.
Las Vegas beats scam penny stocks any day!
lhsmith, I was pretty much right about this company all along. I do not know why you would call me "stupid".
As for falling for Alex, at least he is someone to talk to on an otherwise desolate board. I never did like Alex's pumping, but now he seems pretty reasonable. At least he does not call me names (anymore).
I hate to tell you that it IS a loss even if you do not sell. The stock is worth the bid. The market has no memory of what you originally paid.
If my questioning the stock had no effect, then why was I censured? I agree that my comments had no effect. I still do not understand why my posts were censured just because I mentioned UDVE. This stock has turned out to be just like UDVE, so my comparisons were completely valid.
I still do not really understand why you are mad at me. I have been the most accurate poster on this board. You should be thanking me for sharing my wisdom!
Best Bid: 0.011
Best Ask: 0.019
So as soon as you buy you have a 42% loss. No wonder there is no volume.
I kind of fell sorry for lhsmithnet. He seems like a decent guy. Toward the end he got angry at me for questioning the company. That is when you could tell that he had reached his breaking point. When people fall in love with these scams and get frustrated with their losses, they blame everyone except the scam for their loss. How many times have you seen bad stocks go down while people whine about bashers and naked shorts? My questioning the company did not cause the stock to become worthless. In fact, anyone who heeded my warnings could have sold at a much higher price. I actually made a good profit on this stock mainly because I did not trust it. I like this stock!
I think it is sad that the best "DD" that anyone could find on this stock was some guy on the phone saying everything is great. There is still no web site, there is no NI 43-101 study, there are no financial reports, there have not been any updates on progress, and there is no way to know how many shares have been printed.
Why do these pink sheet pieces of sheet attract such loyal followers?
GPGD's partner is pathetic. REV.v is a 2nd rate explorer that no one has ever heard of. Why is this the best deal that GPGD could make? They promised investors a deal with a "leading Canadian-based mining concern with significant mining holdings within the country of Venezuela". That was obviously a lie. I do not understand why people would trust their money with a proven liar.

Down 45% on about $1000 in trading. This junk has no support whatsoever.
Regent Ventures REV.v still not trading.
I feel sorry for anyone who was taken by this scam again. They might have a different symbol, but it is the same old story as UDVE.
I have been criticized and censured for questioning this company. Turns out I was right all along.

The pink sheet ratings are a good idea, but I think they will be difficult to maintain. GPGD will most likely get a stop sign. They have not reported anything in SEC filings, and they do not have a web site with investor information. The only information they report is in infrequent press releases, and those are often misleading.
It is pretty sad that the only company that would do any kind of deal with GPGD cannot even file its financial reports. They really scraped the bottom of the barrel to get this deal.
Not exactly the "leading Canadian-based mining concern with significant mining holdings within the country of Venezuela" they had promised.
REV.v - Cease Trade Order
TSX Venture Exchange - Cease Trade Order

Symbol Tier Company
GQ 2 Great Quest Metals Ltd.
MCA 2 Milner Consolidated Silver Mines Ltd.
PC 2 Palcan Power Systems Inc.
REV 2 Regent Ventures Ltd.
UFC 2 Urbanfund Corp.
Upon revocation of the Cease Trade Order, the Company's shares will remain suspended until the Company meets TSX Venture Exchange requirements. Members are prohibited from trading in the securities of the companies during the period of the suspension or until further notice.
Why do scam stocks always change their ticker symbol when they do a reverse split? Are they trying to hide from their past? Most charting sites will adjust for the past symbol, but message boards seem unable to change symbols. I usually see a new board started.
There is no rule that says the ticker symbol has to change on a reverse split. But I see the garbage stocks do it all the time. It usually does not help the stock price anyway. In fact, the new stock symbol is often "lost" among investors, and there is no one to buy it.
Alex, I am vaguely familiar with the WEX / GPXM story. I looked at GPXM a while back, and I could not figure out if they would actually be profitable. The mine is very small, and they have a lot of overhead. They also took out a lot of big loans at loan shark rates. They never did a real feasibility study, so the only way to know is happening financially is to wait for quarterly reports.
WEX might be a better way to invest in the deal, but it does not have a U.S. tracking stock.
Update: CMKM Diamonds, Inc. - Will Patricide Lead To Financial Suicide?
Investigative Reports
May 3 2007
Is it patricide in progress? CMKM Diamonds, Inc., the failed penny stock company that broke hearts, emptied pocketbooks and dashed investors’ hopes, is suing its founder, Urban Casavant. A lawsuit filed by the Company on April 25, 2007 in U.S. District Court, charges that Casavant and his cohorts fleeced CMKM out of almost $200 million.
The Complaint claims that Casavant’s scheme began in 2000 when he conspired with a group of Las Vegas-based penny stock promoters to raise $100 million to develop mineral claims in Saskatchewan, Canada. As StockPatrol.com reported, in late 2002, Casavant acquired control of a publicly traded shell corporation and the hype surrounding CMKM began to take hold. A series of press releases claimed that the Company had discovered valuable kimberlite pipes and diamondiferous ore in Canada, was exploring for gold and zinc in South America, and had entered into valuable alliances with other mining companies. CMKM Diamonds, Inc. - A Familiar Drill.
These promises proved hollow – but, according to the newly-filed complaint, they achieved their goal. Chat rooms and message boards buzzed with rumors that CMKM would be taken over by a major mining company – resulting in a windfall for investors who were “wise” enough to buy CMKM shares while they still lingered at a fraction of a cent. The Complaint charges that Casavant and his co-defendants orchestrated this promotion and facilitated the scheme by dumping 700 billion shares of CMKM common stock on the market. Along the way, billions of shares purportedly were transferred to family and friends of CMKM insiders.
According to the Complaint, the Casavant group diverted funds from the Company – paying gambling debts and buying real estate (including a $3.5 million home in Las Vegas). As CMKM’s trading accelerated, so did the Company’s profile, and observers began to pay attention to the fact that the Company had ceased filing financial reports with the SEC shortly after Casavant assumed control of the public shell. Press releases promised that CMKM had retained a prominent securities attorney to assure regulatory compliance. The Complaint charges that the lawyer, Roger Glenn, was not retained for that purpose, but instead facilitated the Company’s sale of shares by providing necessary legal opinion letters.
CMKM’s failure to file public reports proved to be the Company’s undoing. In 2005 the SEC terminated CMKM’s public registration after a series of hearings at which the Company’s financial practices were exposed. Casavant declined to testify at the SEC proceedings, invoking his 5th Amendment right against self-incrimination. Most recently, in March 2007, Casavant stepped aside as Chairman of the Board and President of CMKM, turning over the reins – and the remaining $558 in the Company’s bank account – to an individual named Kevin West.
CMKM’s sole asset consists of 45 million shares of Entourage Mining, which is slated to be distributed to CMKM’s shareholders. There are, however, two serious impediments to that process: CMKM has not been able to identify all of its valid shareholders and it lacks the funds – estimated at $250,000 – to pursue that process.
And there is one other – perhaps insurmountable – hurdle. There are other likely competitors for any CMKM assets. CMKM recently revealed that it has become the subject of yet another SEC probe as well as investigations by at least four other government agencies. And the bad news does not end there. CMKM evidently has forfeited all of its claims and mineral rights, has no corporate records for the past 4 ½ years of business and has never filed taxes.
Not so long ago, on March 30, 2007, CMKM’s new Chairman, Kevin West, was thanking Urban Casavant for “having the trust and the faith in me to turn over the reigns (sic) of the Company so that I can have the authority needed to make decisions in the best interests of the shareholders.” And what was in the best interest of those shareholders? Suing Casavant and his alleged co-conspirators – and seeking to recover the funds that were diverted from the Company. But for whom? The IRS?

A good gambler plays games of chance with acceptable odds and a chance to win. A sucker plays games that are rigged for the sucker to lose.
Which are you?
"It's more like losing because you aren't allowed to see your own hand"
Good one, sorta!
Why in the world would a company hide the number of shares from its share holders, especially when it is doing a reverse split? It is amazing that anyone would defend that kind of behavior. To dismiss it by saying the stock is a "gamble" is idiotic.
In a "gamble", you have a chance to win. When a company prints endless quantities of shares and will not even report the number it printed, there is no chance to win.
