The company appointed to do the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) is the same company that is doing the Feasibility Studies for the corporation called Controlled Thermal Resources (CTR) which is the only other publicly known lithium extraction partner of Lilac Solutions.
The fact that HATCH did the project engineering for Lake Resources and CTR and is now doing the DFS for lake resources tells me that Lilac Solutions is working very closely with Lake Resources and CTR. Lilac has been putting these things in place to make sure that the Kachi Project is ready to go by the time DFS is done. I am guessing Lilac will want to be on the board of directors for lake solutions and therefore I speculate that the final licensing agreement between Lake Resources and Lilac will include a 5%-10% ownership of Lake Resources by Lilac.

Good thing dr burba is ceo of ibat as he has been leading the development of brine extraction and direct lithium extraction for like the last 30 years being a world renowned inventor in the art. He invented the method that sqm uses and has used for like the last 20 years. Seems pretty ideal. Time will tell though and it shouldn't be more than a few months before we find out
great so they said late 2019 or early 2020 then they said summer 2020 and then because of covid it got pushed back a year. doesn't seem unreasonable to me. But then again that is why i was adding to my collection of shares last year.
Well we are only a couple months away from the current scheduled finishing of the mobile unit. so time will tell if they can finish the unit, seems like they should have it finished. unless you have something substantial to report about the company that detracts from its presented potential then i am all ears, but this protracted complaining about the timeline is not helpful or convincing.
no you are wrong in 2019 he said the first unit would be done in the summer 2020..
Also in this video Burba says Sorcia will pay for the first full plant to come out of this operation. Sorcia has talked about investing 300+ million into chile lithium plants.
It has taken longer and more money to complete the full engineering and manufacturing of the first unit... Kinda to be expected for a startup like this. They had a contract to finish it in 2020 but with covid it got extended to 2021, nothing wrong.. Its a bummer it didnt happen like expected but all is well.
If you look at the md&a released on the sedar on June 29 2020 it says they extended the contract to have the first mobile unit done in june 2021.
Here is a video where burba says sorcia is paying for the first mobile unit .
https://vimeo.com/370964897
I am doing just fine with my investments thank you very much. :P
Yeah last summer ibat and sorcia had to extend the deadline (contract) they set for having the first mobile unit completed. in june 2020. now the deadline is june 2021. seems like they should be able to get it completed. Sorcia has the most to lose if they fail to fulfill the contract. Sorcia is paying for the first mobile unit, Sorcia also losses its rights to license the mobile units from ibat if the contract is nullified.
All the direct extraction tech is based on the same idea. you use alumina to absorb the lithium then you isolate the alumina and precipitate out the lithium from it. For example lilac im pretty use uses small grains, like half the size of a piece of rice, of sand which it attaches aluminum to then it runs the brine through the grains and then later precipitates out the lithium from the grains.
It looks like ibat is taking this and making a next generation tech. where they take processed cannabis and attach aluminum to it then run the brine through it and then later precipitate out the lithium from it.
well in the real world deadlines are things to aim for but often times they are not met, especially by start ups. Every single company i invest in fails to meet deadlines. its so common that it surprises me that you are making it seem like it never happens... Things take longer to happen than people expect. I do understand where you come from though, wouldn't the world be soo nice and perfect with pretty ribbons and bows if every startup would meet all their deadlines.
I dont think its that big of a deal that ibat is not on the assignee just yet. I think once the application moves further along or is granted then we will see ibat or sal as the assignee. but right now its not really that important. But like you I think it would be nice to see that. Im not sure why ibat is not the assignee, maybe it is to keep it on the down low because it is some novel tech.
The applications #s do not need to be in a filing. although I would like to see that aswell, its not a requirement. Also the IP that ibat bought from SAL did not include applications because it included all the data and info that were to be used to create applications. just my 2 cents.
Yeah. We all invested in a weed stock and didn't even know it
I'm not really too sure about lilac using the IP from aae but there are some connections to aae with the company who is trying to do the salton sea geothermal and lithium plant.
Readme: Overall Status
John Burba et al creates direct extraction technology the patents belong to Simbol. Simbol goes bankrupt and Alger Alternative Energy gets access to the intellectual property.
Sorcia Minerals has a contract with Alger Alternative Energy (AAE) for perpetual license to use all of AAE intellectual property (IP) in Chile, and perhaps Argentina.
AAE undergoes leadership change and tries to back out of the contract made with Sorcia. AAE parent tries to file for bankruptcy to get out of contract. Sorcia sues in Texas southern district court. After the judge orders summons Sorcia drops the suit, apparently because they settled outside of court.
Scoria has the rights to use the direct extraction technology in chili and maybe Argentina. This IP was originally invented by Burba but is now owned by AAE and is the same IP that Lilac Solutions use and has access to. Sorcia has connections to key lithium oportunity in Chile. Sorcia needs a technology partner to turn the IP into a engineered extraction unit. Sorcia finds International battery metals (ibat) is currently working on doing that exact thing but more focused on oil well brine. Sorcia sees potential with partnering with ibat because Sorcia eventually wants to do direct lithium extraction outside of Chile and Argentina but is currently restricted from using the IP it has access to outside of these areas. if Sorcia can have a synergistic partnership with ibat then they can succeed in Chile and Argentina and generate new IP for use in the USA and other countries.
Sorcia is licensing ibat IP for the engineered mobile extraction unit from ibat which acquired its IP from SAL. All ibat IP is patent pending. Right after ibat aquired SAL IP Burba said the patent pending IP will secure their technology in the US and eventually abroad.
Sorcia partnerships.
1. Contractual access to AAE direction lithium extraction IP for use in Chile and Argentina.
2. Technological Agreement for the development of the lithium process with Enami which is the National Mining Company of Chile
3. Cooperation agreement for research, development and innovation with the UNIVERSITY OF SANTIAGO OF CHILE (USACH) to validate the first mobile extraction unit.
4. Finally Sorcia is partnered with ibat which is a keystone partner for Sorcia with will help bring the IP to be a commercial success in Chile and Argentina and will lead the way for securing IP for use in USA and the rest of the world.
known patent info.
1. Mobile extraction array with brine constituent separation, purification, and concentration
This patent is pending, its been having a rough time in the examiners office but hopefully Burba can get it granted. This patent was invented by burba and two shareholders of SAL who are Borgese and Privitera. The assignee is International Battery Metals the only current known patent which ibat is the assignee. If this patent is granted it will secure ibat IP in the USA just like burba said after ibat bought SAL IP in 2018.
2. Enhanced Surface Area Dependent Functional Material from Combinational Manufacture with Industrial Hemp for Removing Lithium and Other Constituents from Brine
The inventors are listed as Borgese and Privitera this patent is also pending, it does not say the assignee is ibat but one might assume it is part of the SAL IP which ibat owns. This patent application has just recently been sent to the examiner and has yet to have any response from the examiner. Also like the first patent if this patent is granted it will likely be able to secure ibat IP in the USA.
3. Method for Control of Packed Bed Extraction Systems
The inventors are listed as Borgese and Privitera this patent is also pending, it does not say the assignee is ibat but one might assume it is part of the SAL IP which ibat owns. This patent application alone might not be enough to secure ibat IP in the USA for use of direct extraction of lithium, but it seems like it does fix a key problem that likely happens when you are doing direct lithium extraction using pressurized brine from wells.
Overall.
ibat has de-risked its stock due to the partner it has with Sorcia, Sorcia has contractual rights to use AAE ip in chili and perhaps Argentina. If ibat can secure direct lithium extraction IP in the USA and else where it will make this company a MEGA big deal. I think that ibat will ultimately succeed in securing its IP in the USA and else because Burba was the one who invented it in the first place and if anyone is going to do it, it is him. I am not convinced that the first patent listed above will succeed in getting granted because of the trouble he is having with the examiner. The second patent I listed I think has a lot better chance because it seems so novel. I am not a patent attorney just my two cents. The third patent i listed will be the cherry on top and father protection of their IP.
TLDR: Ibat is de-risked, undervalued, and a diamond in the rough. 2021 is the breakout year for ibat. I am long and strong with IBAT. cheers to all the longs in here, you picked a good one. And I whole heartedly welcome our recent new investors now is a great price to buy in and join the ride.
With a closing price above $2.00 all the NASDAQ listing requirements have been met. We could wake up with up listing news any day now.
Interim Chief Financial Officer Logan Anderson, bought shares of RHHNF for $46K.

an updated corporate presentation was posted on the company website on December 24th. The new presentation outlines a updated timeline that shows production of LiCl solution in late 2021.
4 million warrants are on track to expire October 16th if the closing price of the sll.v stock stays above CA$1.50.
These warrants from the private placement that occurred in February allow investors to purchase a share at a price of CA$1.00.
the JV wont be based upon sift tech. joint venture will start by using the tech for the listr plant already installed in AK. the JV will use standard process to make Li carbonate from the product produced by the listr tech. The proof of concept for the JV is in late stage where product is being shipped and tested and converted into Li carbonate.
Here is a message posted on a different message board.
I thought it was very well done. Seeing all the big political names speaking about the company was great. The AK Governor seemed pretty sincerely happy about it, I wonder if he is invested in the company, it sort of seemed like it.
I would have liked to see them give updates related to the time line of future events.
I would have liked some future outlook related to getting purity results from the newly commissioned crystallization plant.
The company sent out 10000 liters of product from the AK plant to a 3rd party for conventional drying and crystallization. While they sent 10000 liters to their BC crystallization plant. This allows them to compare their product with a industry standard product. One of the benefits of doing this is that the Company has the potential for <99.999% purity compared to the industry standard of <99.5% purity. I am expecting to see some news drop in the next few weeks showing the purity the BC crystallization plant achieves using the 10000 liters they were shipped from the AK plant. Ideally they would release their purity results along with those achieved by the 3rd party which should hopefully be <99.999% for the company's tech and <99.5% for industry standard.

Is Standard Lithium uplisting to the NASDAQ a near term possibility?
STLHF is on the OTC but under the NASDAQ international designation and so to me it shows they may try to uplist if the timing is right.
From what I can tell a $2.00 price per share would likely qualify STLHF for the uplisting requirements to the NASDAQ capital market. I imagine the board of directors has talked about this and they are probably interested.
What do you all think?
wakey wakey
CATL a top quality strategic partner just made a strategic investment into ntthf. I bought in earlier this year in anticipation of this. feels good. CATL is a 60 billion dollar company and one of the top lithium battery manufacturers in the world.
link
upcoming events im looking forward
1. Formation of the technical team that includes CATL
2. Update on progress of finalizing the Definitive Feasibility Study
3. submission of the Definitive Feasibility Study to the board of directors
4. Financing worth hundreds of millions of dollars for the Q3 project, using current investors. Including off take agreements with CATL.
They have not even submitted the final application for FDA approval. so dont expect it until 6months to 1 year after they submit the final version.
expect a 8k by friday related to a NASDAQ deficiency notice. This is because as of monday Mar 2nd the end of day closing bid has been under 1.00 for 30 consecutive days. Im waiting for lower prices due to this NASDAQ deficiency and other things before loading up the truck.
Also today we closed above 1.0 !! that marks 10 consecutive days of closing with a bid price greater than 1.0 this will remove the deficiency label from the ONCY ticker on NASDAQ and will bring us to good standing with NASDAQ.
another good day.
NEW news 1.25 million of equity gained by institutional investors buying at 0.90 This corroborates that this company is something truly worth investing in.
Yes I agree. solid investment. short term investors will miss out on the real profit margins by selling before buyout or major partnership. This is the kind of stock to just put in the sock drawer for a while and aim for collecting long term gains with.
Most big pharma buy out targets are those who are in the late phase 2 and early phase 3 stage of the development.
Looking forward to seeing where things go with this stock, im definitly not worried about this one.
Holding long. GLTA
The Open Window of opportunity study midterm results to be announced by end of year along with guidance for initiation of pivotal phase 3 registration study that will probably be initiated mid 2020 with cash equity associated with phase 3 initiation milestone. Then my best guess is a six months to a year for study completion and another 3-6 months for approval.
The current cash balance of about 12-14 million might be enough cash to keep things running until the cash payment associated with phase 3 initiation. But part of me thinks the company might have one more equity raising event between now and next july.
Given the late stage nature and the broad use of the REOLYSIN treatment and the intellectual property of the company patents, I also think this is undervalued. The recent clinical trial sponsored in part by pfizer may corroborate this.
Part of me expects to see another licensing agreement for some major countries that will give the company upfront cash and milestone equity payments. This could allow the company to forgo anymore dilutionary capital raising events, and if it is done correctly will allow the company enough equity to transition into a commercial biotech company selling treatments starting by as early as first half 2021 and maybe as late as about EOY 2021 or early 2022.
Therefore I am investing at these levels due to the undervalued nature of the stock and with the idea that in the next year there will be plenty of things to move this stock up one of them being a high probability of a licensing agreement, partnership, or buyout, with a major pharmaceutical company. Looking to hold for at least 1 year.
No its approximately 4-6 weeks from aug 2nd when avita medical submitted the nasdaq application for uplisting. the 20F publication on 9/19 is part of the requirement. But Avita medical had already submitted a confidential version of this to the SEC in july as part of the nasdaq requirements for uplisting. So nasdaq uplisting is anyday now.
50 million AVH shares traded at market close on the asx market last night.. This is pretty interesting. This will almost certainly spur some PR about changes in substantial holdings, should be interesting to see who picked these up.
That volume equates to about 2.5mm shares on AVMXY or about $20mm USD. Some big hands.
It is strange that in the 20-f form the Company is trying to get the CELS ticker which is already in use https://www.nasdaq.com/market-activity/index/cels
also it seems that CELS has no relation to the name of Avita Medical, I find this peculiar. Perhaps it is a mistake?
The info about the 200mm shares is in the f-6 that was released today under the other EDGAR page https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?action=getcompany&CIK=0001541697&owner=exclude&count=40&hidefilings=0

Looks like the Company has two EDGAR pages. A older one https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?action=getcompany&CIK=0001541697&owner=exclude&count=40&hidefilings=0 showwing the original f-6 and the f-6 released today.
then the Company has a second newer EDGAR page https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?action=getcompany&CIK=0001762303&owner=exclude&count=40&hidefilings=0 with the 20-f in anticpation of the nasdaq uplisting.
Everyone is on edge with the recent rise in SP and the imminent Nasdaq uplisting so anything like this that creates Unknown information generates anxiety, at least for me. This is a pretty critical time for us longs, wanting to make right on our investments. The next few days and weeks will bring a lot of volatility and some will sell the peak, I will be trying to sell a portion at the peak and keeping the rest in 'shoe box' like tdeck says. GLTA I like how this board is becoming more chatty, and its all productive no bad actors yet. Bad actors will show up soon, i am sure, just wanted to point that out. Once NASDAQ uplisting news hits we will see the number of subscribers to this board increase day by day, and along with that we will see bad actors show up one by one and they will feed off each other trying to change the narrative of the board, just heads up. again GLTA should be a good ride, it sure has been so far!
