Just spoke with TD, they said that if you didn't receive a letter then the PR doesn't apply to you. I have cancelled my cert request and was told I should be fine.
I am going to be really BS if I just spent $40 requesting certs if in fact I didn't need to!
Also, I am new to this whole certs thing, when I get them, if I ever want to sell them do I just bring them to a brochure and attempt to sell them or is there some different process?
FYI, I never recalled getting a letter from TD either... this is starting to make me wonder.
Please excuse my ignorance, but at this point can you sell at .0001? Or am I left with no choice but to sell at .0000?
Everything is lining up perfect! My only question is, why does the PR about Semco say it was started in 1981 and on the Semco website under the "about" tab it says 1990? Is this a simple mistake or am I missing something?
What ever happened to this?
"Q Television Network, being a subsidiary of Triangle Multi Media, completed its audit on Friday, October 28, 2005. The audit is currently going through its certification process and will be available for viewing within the coming weeks."
I thought we were in luck this morning when Howard Stern mentioned the George Takei thing. Unfortunetly he said George would be on the Viacom gay channel (Logo) but he didn't actually mention their name. Robin chimed in saying there are quite a few gay channels. That was it. I was so psyched thinking that they would say Q Television on air, but he let me down. Oh well, he did at least mention George Takei. I am sure there are people that will track down the what station he will be on.
Interesting article I came across today. Looks like QTV should be looking for these companies for advertising.
GLBT Drivers Like Imports, Survey Says
Gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered (GLBT) drivers are big fans of luxury and import brands, according to a new study from Harris Interactive. Harris compiled the figures in the report because it asserts that members of the GLBT community are increasingly aware of which automakers advertise directly to them. Volkswagen, Subaru, Volvo, and BMW are viewed most positively by the GLBT crowd because of their advertising and public-service initiatives. In addition, the survey found that GLBT shoppers are significantly more inclined to consider hybrid vehicles than non-GLBT shoppers (51 percent would consider, versus 34 percent of non-gay shoppers); are more likely to use the Internet and word-of-mouth recommendations when shopping; and in the case of gay men, are more likely to listen satellite radio than non-GLBT folks because of programming geared toward GLBT listeners.
Ok, can we get to the point here??? What caused this stock to "double" this morning... is something real in the works or is this just a tease?
Those are not items they are selling. That is a search page that used softnet technology corp as a search term. The site is listed in the PR incorrectly... small mistake.
Thanks for the address, Onestroke! Here is the correspondence:

James,
I am currently an investor in STTC and have been satisfied with the way you are running company. The increase in sales in portals has been excellent and I do feel that there is so much potential here.
I do however have one small gripe. Today I went on Ebay and decided to view the feedback for wholesalebyus. I was very dissapointed to see that whenever someone left neutral feedback, wholesalebyus leaves a negative feedback for that person. On top of that, many of the negatives that wholesalebyus left for buyers included such phrases as "Aweful Person." Come on now! You have something great going on here. Feedback left for wholesalebyus and left by wholesalebyus must be the best possible. Ebay relies on what people think, and on how you treat them. If a person leaves wholesalebyus a neutral feedback with a comment like "took too long to ship" or "item was not exactly as described," you should not leave that buyer a negative feedback of "aweful person." Wholesalebyus is a company, and unfortunetly, as a company we need to remember that the customer is always right. You cannot change the store name or Ebay ID to get rid of a reputation. You need to be constructive and only leave negative when absolutly necessary. When leaving a negative, simply write why you are leaving a negative. Saying "aweful person" does not add any structure to Ebay and does nothing but piss off someone that either was or may have been a customer. Please PLEASE please look into this matter and correct it as you see fit.

dear sir,
i would like to ask you when the unprofessional use of words were used. i am horrified that it ever happened. i thought that it was corrected. a young kid was hired in our shipping department and he had the responsibility to handle those tasks. he was fired. we have brought someone in new. however, if these comments are recent, then i will not stand for it. in fact, we have hired a midlevel manager who is starting in the next week. these types of things will not continue and if they do then I would like to know about it. as i do not run the subsidiary companies, i am not involved in the day to day operations and detail. however, ultinmately it is my responsibility. I greatly appreciate shareholders who take the time and an interest in the company and are not just day traders. we are building something here and are proud to have you as a partner/shareholder.. please feel free to call our toll free number to discuss any other concerns you may have
Well, I decided to check out the items for sale on Ebay by Wholesalebyus. Decent array of products ranging from phones to GPS to boxes of cable. I did stumble onto one thing that really pissed me off. Everytime someone leaves nuetral feedback, wholesalebyus leaves that customer very negative feedback. Wholesalebyus has left negative feedback for customers ranging from "Serious Grouch" to "awefull person!" This is NOT how to run a business, especially when other ebayers can see this. If someone leaves you neutral feedback, wholesalebyus shouldn't be leaving negative feedback for the customer. If anyone has the CEO's e-mail address I would love to make mention of this to him.
I haven't sold yet, but really wish I did and then bought back in down low. I was expecting a slight drop in PPS, but nothing this drastic. For now I am holding on to everything and keeping my fingers crossed!
Sales for December were quite low compared to the projected sales in the PR in December. Hopefully this isn't going to hurt us too bad. I was really looking forward to at least being close to the $300,000 preojected.
March first... earnings soon?
All that is very true. Problem is we haven't seen anything good happen to the stock price yet. Sure, we need revenues to increase stock value, but what about all this hype. Interest in the stock should have increased and created more demand causing the PPS to rise. Still waiting but slowly running out of patience.
It seems that everything about this stock is wishfull thinking... Trying to stay positive, but some days it can be really tough!
Excellent find! I wonder how long before HOPON decides to PR this news?
A study once done found that the higher up in the company, the worse the grammer is. This is especially true in e-mails. Management doesn't have time for spelling and grammer and usually only write clearly enough to get the point across. Don't worry, his grammer is the sign of a hard working CEO.
Unreal! Down over .04 at 2:30, PR at 3:00 and by 4:00 we are trading in the +. Never judge a book by it's cover! Keep on flying baby.. weeeeeeeee
Top of the morning. Lets see another green day!
What a nice finish. I hope we keep going up 10% per day. Between the ad blitz, the earnings statement, and the CEO buying shares on the open market, this is shaping up to be a great month.
Yeah, I too lost a lot on IBZT. Good news is I made it back and then some with STTC!
Good news for Superbowl coverage. Now I just wish I could see their coverage on DISH Network!
You can say that again!
unfortunetly I don't know what the O/S is. I bought into this on the expectation that their Virtual Keyboard was gonna be huge. As you probably know, they had some problems with it. Their old website was garbage and didn't help to boost their sales. Hopefully this new site will be better and actually help to increase sales. This stock is only gonna bounce back if they start bringing in some income. A company that knows how to increase sales quickly is Softnet Technology (STTC). I wish I could take my money out of this one and put it in STTC. Too much of a loss right now though, need to wait for IBZT to rise a little more first.
Incredible volume today. I am gonnna be interested to see where this goes. Wouldn't mind reducing my loss on this stock.
More good news, two new resellers. Are we gonna be pushing .30 today?
Yeee Haw! Now I just wish I had several more thousand to invest. This company is going to be huge. Really looking forward to the earnings statement coming up. Thinking that should boost us up another .10-.20.
MTV's LOGO
Mentioned on page 66 of the February GQ: "...MTV premieres LOGO, its new network for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people. Not that there's anything wrong with that."
Looks like they are coming out on time...
It is very interesting to me that Lettermen is not very faithful to his network. It was just a few weeks ago that Howard Stern was on and he talked non stop about Sirius. Keep in mind that Howard works for Infinity, owned by Viacom, also the owner of CBS. Same thing with last night. Lettermen is plugging QTV when Viacom owns MTV who is putting out LOGO. Kinda funny how it works, but I am surly not complaining! Hoping that today we see a nice upswing! Go Q
Add me to the list:
Hollis, NH
DISH Network
I disagree that LOGO will not be happening. Go to viacoms site, MTV's site, and LOGO's site and they all list LOGO as a new channel that will begin airing on February 17, 2005 on all RCN locations plus TW in Atlanta. I really think they are simply waiting until they are live before telling the whole world. Makes sense to me, they don't need to try and attract interest from investors because they have a huge company behind them. It seems that that is the preferred way to start a new channel, unless you are like QBID. In our case we need as many PR's as possible. We need to attract investors so that the company has enough money to get on the air. Sure, QBID's way appears to be the slow boat to China, but that is only because we have been able to track every move for so long. LOGO is hiding, just waiting for their launch date. Seems to all make sense to me.
Is that 2.6 million per day?
Thank you for the clarification!
FYI, yes it is Grand Cherokee in New Hampshire. That was a screen name I used for a few years. Recently sold the Grand, but don't feel like creating new names on every site I visit. You are among the few to actually get that.
Nothing is conflicting. It is simple, I will not believe we have any contracts until it is announced through a PR. Plain and simple. Going with that theory there is no conflicting information. It is only when people believe rumors that we have problems. I said it once and I'll say it again, Echostar and Directv are NOT related. Directv does NOT broadcast anything from the Echostar satellites.
Why should we call and bother Frank and Renee on something they never announced? Leave them to do their work and stop getting caught up in such nonesense. Do you REALLY think we have a contract with Direct TV and don't know about it? I am quite sure that the PR would come flying out if that were the truth.
About Direct TV
First off, Echostar is owner of Dish Network, not Direct TV. I am not sure how a corralation between Direct TV and Echostar has been formed. Second, why would it only be available to Direct TV in some areas? Every Direct TV subscriber in this country feeds off the same satelite. Hence the reason why you aim it in different directions depending on where you are located in the country. There is no reason for them to only preview it in some areas and not in others, the cost would be exactly the same.
How are we ever going to get a new carrier if we can't even get the website up and running?
Ahhhh! What is happening? I was all psyched up for the push to .01 today! Maybe if everyone buys a few more shares (like I did this morning) it will help push it up. Lets go QBID, it's UP TIME!
This board has really gone downhill in the recent months. I don't post much, but I do enjoy coming on here to read about different perspectives. Lately, it has been nothing but bashing. I just don't get it. Why buy a stock and then do nothing but complain about everything to do with the company?
I am down a few thousand on this stock right now, and you don't hear me bitching. I bought this stock because I do believe it will be successful, and I do think that in the end I will make money. You cannot expect a new TV station to start up without hiccups. Dates change, problems occur, it is expected.
I am still very positive and will continue that way. Today's PR is GREAT! Sure, we knew it was gonna happen, but a PR isn't only for current shareholders. This PR is a great way to show we are moving ahead and attract new investors. The more demand for this stock, the more it will go up. I really cannot believe that anyone would waste their time complaining about GOOD NEWS on a stock they own.
GOOOO QBID!
Shouldn't my ameritrade account have automatically updated UCAD? It hasn't changed symbols and doesn't show the split.
