Oh I know.... The ridicule won't be for "I told you so's" on SP, it will be for future Postyle smitings of would-be predictors in this or any other stock. I assumed this would be going up.... In fact put my money on it :)
No point in ridiculing someone who makes predictions on the regular.... I try to draw Postyle into making predictions to no avail on a regular basis on other MBs and this is the first time it has, and likely ever will happen again. It literally made me laugh out loud at work
Yes they do, so do my common holdings. I'm looking forward to a healthy spec account come October.
LOL.... I'm saving this post for later ridicule
Agreed, very exciting times in this sector. I am Ike a kid in a candy store trying to figure where to throw my money. I love this year so far :)
Another new one. Its very bullish (I am too but possibly not this bullish). Either way the chart with the $9 gap target caught my eye. I'd be happy with half that.

...as your money should be (and my money is), however I would argue that every attorney in the world studies and analyses ad nausiam their respective cases to best position themselves to maintain a pristine record in order to provide for their families and all associated interests. I use this to allow for a sound nights sleep, but I also believe this to be a terrible fallacy in providing a foundation for proper argument in an investment.

I'm not attacking you. I'm not even on the offensive at all. What I am is a seasoned veteran in the investment community who is extremely fluent in patent litigation/enforcement entities and when I see posts that can endanger (financially) impressionable and ignorant newbies/speculators, I get concerned. It's not a dig at you, but it is simply a call to arms (for lack of a better phrase) for seasoned speculators to be more responsible in their posts and recognize, in the assertions, the potential for negative catalysts in a catalytic event that involves other people's hard earned money in a shared investment. Your comment can be misconstrued as factual, and this cannot be allowed on Ihub or any other venue. Again, not attacking you, however I'm asking for a little more discretion in posting your OPINIONS and responsibility in asserting projected assumptions as opposed to opining personal expectations.
"IMHO ---This is a laydown---WDDD will walk into and thru the MARKMAN and come out a substantial winner---announcing to the mkt place of other infringers---BEWARE"
This is a dangerous statement and an argument that opens itself to immeasurable backlash. I am long, I am positive on potential litigation outcomes and I think WDDD has a fantastic case. However, I would and will never say an IP Centric company, pre-revenue no less, can be considered a premature victor in a "laydown" lawsuit. I will remain positive and evaluate information as it is made available, however sentiment can change quickly. Good luck all and I look forward to more material information from both WDDD and the defendant.
I'm sure it was arbitrary
Things going exactly as planned??? If I've learned anything from the stock market and patent plays especially.... It's that thing ALWAYS go as planned ;)
Lol.... God if that's all it takes then we're in good shape. I see this doing well through October, beyond that only mr Markman knows.
It was his original prediction for .50
Moderator, this link should be stickied on this board
I'm sure it will go back up, far up...Especially by August. The volume doesnt say manipulation to me but then again im nobody. Nothing moves in straight lines.... Like my wife and wine :)
I still have a horse in the race, but took a little less than half off the table for a double. I'll buy more if a dip to .30 or less, but I'm happy with my position for now if that doesn't happen.
Some of us have been in this since .17/.18 like myself.... Taking profits off the table can, will and should happen in these situations.
Correct
Running back to par EOD
"Some investors won't touch DSS until they know for sure the merger is Official. It sure is taking longer then expected."
It has been made common knowledge for some time now that the merger is scheduled for completion by the end of Spring. It seems to be right on track.
I wish someone would Sticky this post to end all future discussions on this board regarding the subject. We have come to the bridge and are currently crossing it with no possible outcome other than what the court dictates. Thank you for clarifying. There should/will be no buy out. The new CFO is fluent in mergers and acquisitions for one reason.... This company acquires patents to monetize... That is the business model. I guess I should add IMO here
This has a lot of catalysts...and a lot of time. You didn't miss a major move
That's the plan sir :)
Yeah I get his email updates. It's usually good for a .10 pop.
It's normally not advisable with IP litigation plays (as Postyle has preached for years) but in this case I feel comfortable with Dec as their are a number of catalyst due by end of Fall and leaving 3 months breathing room to alleviate time decay. I'm comfortable and confident in this move. Will likely add more in the next two weeks
Yes it's exciting... Look at Postyles post on that board today. Exciting stuff. As for BCYP, I've been in since .18
Should be a fun ride
Apparently Mods are feeling hormonal today. I'm heavily invested and diversified in the IP sector. Doubly so in WDDD and one other.
Added here today, common and Dec 2.50 calls
Don't forget about DSS....merger to be completed by end of June and Markman 2 months later. Very positive Moreno report and a revenue generating business model to compliment the patent portfolio make it and BCYP both solid plays in the coming months. Lots of exciting catalysts coming in the industry.
I agree. I first started investing in patents about a year ago. I love the predictability of moves at certain periods of the litigation process. I made my mark in Biotech stocks and I see a very familiar similarity with IP Litigation/enforcement companies regarding the binary events, run-ups to scheduled catalysts and relative risk/reward characteristics. I see this being a great trend in the market for yeas to come.
I'm still here, but with a much smaller piece of the pie. Sold half on the last spike. Watching, waiting, reading, and dropping a boat load on WDDD, DSS and BCYP. I still expect a positive outcome here and I don't have a small position by any definition... But couldn't wait on the other plays and refuse to bring more $ over from my non-spec portfolio. Still here friend.
Agree... I would like to read these as well

"WHY TAKE A YEAR TO GET TO MARKMAN?
I’ve seen cases take a couple years to get to that point."
Not to mention the different procedural timelines associated with different districts wherein the complaint is filed. All have a different propensity regarding moving through the first leg of procedure in what they see as timely. ie the "rocket docket" in VA vs anything in California. They simply march to the beat ofntheir own drums. Glad to have you here ma'am. You are a breath of fresh air on this board. I will apologize in advance for the many questions I will be directing your way once motions begin to fly.
I'm not one for comfort food in the market, but that's the first post I've seen on here confirming my intuition over the last two months. Thanks Lar and good luck.
"Since Sussman is not a firm which has patents attorneys that regularly write and prosecute patent applications in the US Patent and Trademark Office"
Is this common for IP attorneys and their respective firms? Should this be viewed as weakness on any level or is it simply an attribute of a highly specialized, and litigious group? ie. they have the fire power and outsource the administrative work to those more qualified, keeping costs associated with R&D minimized (as many larger companies do). Thanks in advance for you time.
"Better than a lottery ticket. They might just win"
Are you referring to Markman or do you mean the whole enchilada?
"Rains worst case scenario would only happen well after the process has played out months from now."
12 months minimum
This assuming settlement... And that's a big assumption. There are just too many what ifs floating around here for the amount of information (almost none) we have at our disposal. What if financiers crumble and file chapter 11? What if this gets delayed 6-12 months for extenuating circumstances? What if Tribble suffers from a major embolism? I get the mental masterbation as we in the first of many periods of no information, but it is all moot and conjecture until facts become public knowledge to us and the companies themselves.
