Is this common for IP attorneys and their respective firms? Should this be viewed as weakness on any level or is it simply an attribute of a highly specialized, and litigious group? ie. they have the fire power and outsource the administrative work to those more qualified, keeping costs associated with R&D minimized (as many larger companies do).
