I'm tracking gold and gold miner stocks for the new year. I'm slowly loading up on AUY April $4 and $6 calls since yesterday at ~.20 and ~.05 respectively.

See below, price has popped up over 3 year resistance at $3.80. If you look at the volume profile on the left it has entered a Kirby, the area where there is almost no overhead resistance and it has a clear shot to $6 highs from 4 years ago (seen on second chart).

All good buddy....still trading. Been trading GOLD, GDX, SLV and NUGT/DUST a lot lately. That’s about it

Looks like a direct hit and perfect bounce off that first rib at 2600...start looking for resistance areas to fight through for exits on trades. Need some volume so it doesn’t break through and retest lower support.

Watching that SPX 2500-2600 area for the bounce....likely cue off the RSI once it hits oversold territory.
If it chops in that area and breaks 2500 with volume...next stop 2250-2400. Still staying relatively sidelined minus some VXX plays intraday.

Plus she's right up against that trend line and outside the upper BB. Either way I'll be looking at some point for a longer term long position once FB settles a bit.

AAPL just passed short term TL resistance. If it can clear $165.84 (see second chart below…tough resistance level) it should get to $168.50ish. After that it can run to the $173 area (all on one tank of gas)….assuming the market cooperates.
