this month I believe.
I hate to say that I agree with Geez on this one. This is strictly managements personal piggy bank. $100,000 in traveling and food this year so far. They haven't had any shows, so these are vacations as far as I'm concerned. Way too much to spend based on their sales ... what a joke. They are collecting their salaries and traveling as long as the money lasts. JMO
Hi Jack
Actually, I love the taste of all the Lemonade and Limeade drinks and they all contain Stevia. I believe the Pulse Drinks contain all of the extra vitamins, etc ..., which results in the after taste.
Hi Kittie
No, not me. I've owned Pulse since the beginning and should have sold during the run-up, but was greedy unfortunately. What ever happened to the Walmart Stores? Haven't heard anything about that deal lately, probably blew that deal too.
Now their trying to dilute the hell out of their stock ... such as life and very disappointing. But management is getting their salaries every year ... no matter what. Such a shame, because I absolutely love the taste of all of their Lemonades, Limeades, and Coconut Waters. The only product that is just OK as far as the taste is the Pulse Drinks, because I feel they have a bit of a vitamin after taste.
what do you make of Pulse wanting to increase the outstanding or shares by another 200,000,000. I guess they feel that they won't be able to finance their business from their future revenue. Anyone's input would be appreciated.
Why would they just re-state practically the same News from last year? I wonder if they lost the business and just got it back?

Looks like you can purchase their beverages now on their website ... things are looking up!
I meant to say 1 1/2 years in the last paragraph ... sorry. :)
New Coconut Water
I just had a can of the New Pineapple Coconut Water. It has a brand new label. Looks similar to the old graphic, but instead of being printed on the can, it has a beautiful, Glossy, Full-Colored Wrap around the can ... definitely the most attractive I have seen from any brand.
The taste has changed as well. My favorite is the Pineapple flavored and although I really liked the old flavor profile, it was slightly weak of just a tad diluted. The new Coconut Water is bursting with flavor ... It tastes so fresh ... like right out of the Coconut! You can really taste the fresh pineapple flavor as well, compared to just a hint before. I really believe that if they can execute and get it in the stores, the customers will try it over the other brands ... based on packaging alone. Once they try it, they will be hooked. I tasted it side by side with Vita Coco w/ pineapple and everyone at my business agreed that Cabana had a much better flavor.
So at least they're moving forward and putting out the products, just not executing as fast as I would like :)
You have to wonder what the stock price would be if they never (way over) exaggerated their earnings or time frame. They should have played it straight and under promised and just built the business from a more reasonable expectation.
I happen to believe that they have the best tasting Lemonades, Limeades, & Coconut Waters. If Pulse Drinks are successful ... just a bonus, because I think that they can still become hugely successful on the existing beverages (IF?) management can get it together and execute.
By the way, the Lemonades & Limeades are still available at all of the Racetrack Convenient Stores in Florida and have been for over 1/2 years. Also, I've seen the Lemonades & Limeades at 2 of the Orlando Walmart Stores and Some of the 7-11's. A couple of Convenient Stores near my business has all of their drinks including the new Coconut Water and they told be the drinks are really starting to sell well since the weather is really starting to warm up.
Hope this helps!
Simply amazing ... No news in 3 months, even with all of the action going on in Mexico, China, etc ... Must be really kickin butt! It's a shame that the company produced such excellent tasting products, but could not execute the business plan :(
Pulse is still taking orders by phone, but said they have had technical issues with their online ordering process, but should be fixed soon. When I called and asked how they were doing, they said great and that they were very busy ... but who knows ... take that for whatever it's worth.
Pulse has a 2nd Facebook page
https://www.facebook.com/NaturalCabana/
By the way ... not happy about the extra 20 mil outstanding shares. Invested years ago because of potential and very low outstanding shares ... just not the case now :(
I feel its too early to know whether the Pulse Drinks will or will not be successful. The new flavor profiles were just finished a few months ago, but here's my opinion. I don't care for the Pomegranate Blackberry, because I don't happen to like the flavor of Pomegranate ... but it wasn't bad. I liked the other two flavors, but there is a slight vitamin aftertaste that would not make these drinks my first choice to quench my thirst, but knowing that they do contain ingredients that are beneficial to my health, when compared to the alternatives, I would probably drink them instead of a soda or high in sugar sport drink. The difficulty in selling these drinks in high volume ... will be education ... which can be costly and take much longer to penetrate the market.
As for the Lemonade, Limeade and the Coconut Water, I happen to love the flavor profiles for the Lemonades and Limeades, better than any Lemonade brand on the market. The fact that they are much lower in sugar than most of their competitors, makes them even more appealing. The Coconut Water, especially the Pineapple, for me it the best tasting brand that I tried. Their lower retail price and packaging is also extremely attractive.
I happen to think that Pulse can be extremely successful without the Pulse Drinks. Look at the company that manufactures Calypso Lemonade ... they have been very successful with market penetration and they are extremely high in sugar and do not hold a candle to Cabana as far as taste.
I'm willing to be very patient and give them a few more years to either succeed of fail ... we will see.
Hope this helps!
It's pretty simple Geez, Pulse is not profitable yet and has over promised and under performed ... its that simple. If they did not
over estimate or did not exaggerate in their forward reports, I feel the stock price would be much higher at this point.
If they would have been realistic from the beginning, I feel investors would have been more positive about the progress that they have made. Quite a few retailers make the purchase decisions annually now, where as before, it was quarterly, so I believe Pulse over estimated the speed in which they could grow. Just my take.
Amazing ... no news about any new deals in over 2 months ... during the busiest season ... very disappointing!
Hopefully they will have a very good quarter.
Pulse Website New Updated Design
It's about time. Nice design, attractive, very informative, & nicely designed.
I believe we are going to see improvements this year. A local convenient store in my area has decided to not sell Calypso anymore, because Cabana Lemonades & Limeades were outselling them 2-1. Good sign. They also have told me that the Cabana Coconut Water sells very well all year long.
New Limeade Flavor
Wonder why they haven't released news about this new flavor profile. I just had a new Cherry Limeade and it was delicious!
Wish they would keep up with their news. Walmarts, Mexico, new flavors, etc ... Awfully quiet ... maybe a good thing. I guess we will wait and see.
Pulse's Natural Cabana® Lemonade/Limeade Variety Pack Debuts At 50 Wegmans Mega-stores
Wegmans Rated Best Overall Grocery Store in US for 2014
DENVER, June 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pulse Beverage Corporation ("Pulse" or "the Company") (OTCQB: PLSB), makers of Natural Cabana® Lemonades/Limeades and Coconut Waters, and PULSE® Heart & Body Health functional beverages, today announced Wegmans 50 mega-stores are accepting their first shipment of 4,000 Natural Cabana® Lemonade/Limeade variety 12 packs. Wegmans is a US Northeastern favorite with its customers.
Pulse also announces that Natural Cabana® Lemonade, Limeade and Coconut Water will be carried in the cold box and grocery aisle/displays by Minyard Food Stores, a hometown locally owned supermarket chain having 12 locations in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex area. Minyard has served these communities for more than 80 years. Natural Cabana® Lemonade, Limeade and Coconut Water will also be carried by Vista Super Markets in its cold box and grocery aisle/displays. Vista Super Markets is a 10 store, El Paso, Texas, grocery store chain.
Cabana already outsells quite a few of the brands you listed and all without any advertising. I read somewhere that Calypso sold about 18Mil annually and they do not advertise. Cabana will outsell Calypso within a couple of years, not only because it tastes much better, but it's much healthier.
It took Monster 15 Years to make some serious progress, it's amazing how little patience some people have. It's been only a little over 3 years and it's a shame you didn't receive instant gratification!
A convenience store by my business stocks Cabana and Calypso side by side
in the cooler and Cabana outsells Calypso 2-1 at it's priced about 10 cents more. They are selling the Cabana Coconut Water like crazy! I talk to the owner regularly.
It's comical to me why someone would spend their time posting on a board, trying to trash a company, when they have no investment in the company. If you got burned ... You need to blame yourself for not being more patient or
investing cash that you couldn't afford to lose. JMO
Hi Kathryn2
You probably need to read the 1st Qrt 10-Q again, because this was one of the few things that the geezer has been correct on.He copied and pasted right from it. The statements were true, not that it means much or anything
that we wouldn't know.

The listing includes three lemonades and one limeade as cooler placements. All 7-Eleven stores in Canada are corporately owned with 81 in Ontario and 416 in Western Canada.

They are doing an excellent job getting Natural Cabana® brand awareness throughout Canada. 7-Eleven is a retailer all beverage companies want their product lines featured in, and is one of the most recognized convenience store chains in Canada and we are extremely excited they will carry Natural Cabana® Lemonade and Limeade."
That's 1,361 7-11's so far .... not bad!
Based on Yahoo, they have $401,000 as Pulses 4th Qrt. 2014 earnings
Geezer - Haven't you purchased enough cheap shares by now ... You're not foolin anyone!
Actually 2014 4th Qrt Sales were 70% higher than Qrt 4 2013 ... I misquoted. The Lemonade & Limeade sales were 30% higher. The Coconut Water made up the extra 40% I guess. Things are looking up.
They did have a small increase in Revenue of 20-30% over Qrt4 2013, which is at least a small improvement.
Any opinions on the 10K Annual Report and Pulses updated overview of
2014-2015?
The addition of plastic bottles for Cabana Lemonades and Limeades. Sounds like Pulse is catering to some large, high volume stores. Great sign imho.
Natural Cabana® Lemonades and Limeades have several advantages over the competition:
They are great tasting, have all-natural ingredients and have lower calories than its competitors;
They are displayed in very attractive glass containers with high resolution graphics;
The Company has also developed a very attractive plastic bottle with high resolution graphics at the request of Walmart and others who want customized packaging;
NEWLY DESIGNED NATURAL CABANA® LEMONADES and LIMEADES
John, I don't know how to include images for this post. If you provide me with your email, I can email you the image of the new plastic bottles and may you can post them.
Pulse Beverage, which started out as Health Beverage, LLC, did pay for the Pulse Drink Technology and rights to use Baxter name ... But I just can not remember the amount. They also do not owe any royalties going forward. Here is some background about the deal.
Baxter taking partner to rev up its Pulse
March 04, 2004|By BRUCE JAPSEN.
Baxter International Inc. is finalizing a deal to license its nutrient-enriched bottled water Pulse in North America to an upstart Colorado beverage company.
Health Beverage LLC of Evergreen, Colo., hopes to bring more consumer retail sales and marketing expertise to Pulse, which hasn't had much attention given Baxter's restructuring amid concerns about its financial forecasting practices.
Baxter's strengths are in developing and manufacturing drug-delivery devices, blood therapies and biopharmaceuticals, while its sales prowess is largely limited to dealing with governments, hospitalsand large health-care purchasing organizations.
Baxter said Pulse was developed by its non-traditional innovation team, an incubator for ideas that don't fit the company's historical businesses. Pulse was introduced two years ago, but the company said it never intended to market the product nationally on its own.
"It had gotten to the point where the next step was a national rollout, but a national rollout would have required significant retailing and marketing resources," said Baxter spokeswoman Deborah Spak. "Since we are not a consumer marketing company, it doesn't fall within our core competencies."
In working with Health Beverage, Baxter would be licensing its product to a company that would be totally dedicated to the consumer market. Pulse would be Health Beverage's first product, and the company would be able to provide the product with more attention.
Baxter has had to scale back its preliminary marketing of Pulse while evaluating all of its businesses as part of a turnaround plan. Baxter's troubles arose after being unable to get a handle on its financial forecasts as competition in its blood-therapies businessintensified.
"Because of restructuring, Pulse was one of the items that was placed on the back burner," said Ron Kendrick, a consultant with Vancouver-based Catalyst Development Inc., which is working with Health Beverage and has helped other beverage companies with product development. "Pulse hasn't really been in the retail markets. You can get it in some stores, but you would have trouble finding it now."
Pulse comes in three types, with each 500 milliliter bottle containing fewer than 40 calories. Pulse products are sold in Heart Health, Women's Health and Men's Health Formulas.
Even in the hands of a consumer marketing company, Pulse faces stiff competition in the $2 billion bottled-water market. Dozens of competitors, including the likes of PepsiCo Inc., have entered the bottled-water market in recent years.
"This is a very new company, but the people involved in Health Beverage have been in or involved in the health beverage industry for years," Kendrick said.
Terms of the deal are not being released. Baxter would not disclose Pulse revenues, saying they are "not material" to the financial results of the company. Baxter had nearly $9 billion in 2003 revenues.
Health Beverage sees a niche for Pulse that hasn't been addressed by rival bottled water-makers. For example, the Women's Health brand supplies nearly 40 percent of the daily calcium recommendation, Kendrick said.
"There is competition out there, but we feel there is a place for Pulse based on the level of health it actually delivers," Kendrick said. "One of the things we like about Pulse is the efficacious levels of the functional ingredients."
Pulse Secures Distribution In Mexico For Its Natural CabanaTM Beverage Products
DENVER, Feb. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pulse Beverage Corporation ("Pulse") (OTCQB: PLSB), makers of Natural CabanaTM Lemonades, Limeades, and Coconut Waters, and PULSE® Heart & Body Health functional beverages announced today it has secured an agreement with an established Mexico distributor to begin distributing Natural CabanaTM Lemonade, Limeade and Coconut Water to key accounts secured over the past few months. They will initially distribute Natural CabanaTM Coconut Water to more than 2,800 stores in Mexico including: Soriana, H-E-B, 7-11, Calimax, Circlulo K, Dax, Smart & Final, and Farmacia Roma. The Company's Mexico distributor has been in business for more than 60 years and has more than 1,000 employees with distribution points in every major city in Mexico and distribution routes to almost all retail outlets which will allow Pulse to rapidly grow its Mexico business all across the country.
Pulse's Mexico operations are headed by Carlos Villarreal. Mr. Villarreal was responsible for the Mexico introduction and distribution of Monster Energy Drink® in 2004 and led the expansion across all of Mexico up until June, 2010. Mr Villarreal has worked with leading brands such as Dr. Pepper Snapple and Miller, among others, in their entry/distribution strategies. He has also served as a Director for Anheuser-Busch and for Grupo Modelo (Corona) in the U.S. and Mexico.
Bob Yates, CEO of Pulse, said, "We are extremely excited to secure distribution in Mexico for our Natural CabanaTM products through a well-established and respected distributor. Carlos will be hands on working with our distributor to ensure it is a successful initial rollout into Mexico. There is a lack of premium, reasonably priced coconut water available in Mexico, and we intend on capitalizing on this quickly. Our limeades closely resemble Mexico's national drink, limonada, which is poured over ice and sometimes sparkling water is added to it."
As a result of Avanzar’s efforts, new placements and orders were received for Popcornopolis Gourmet Popcorn at 17 Winco locations in Southern California. Stater Bros. have also signed a new deal with Avanzar to distribute Popcornopolis in 119 of their Southern California locations. The company also procured deals to supply Natural Cabana Lemonade to Southern California Walmart locations.

This clearly shows that Monster wasn't an overnight success ... It
takes time in the Beverage industry.
The fact that Pulse has been able to secure over 250 Walmarts in 2-3 weeks, suggests that not many store managers are rejecting the placement of the Cabana Lemonades in their particular store. Pulse should secure most Walmarts in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada during 2015, after all ... Calypso Lemonades have done so with a less healthy and inferior tasting product.
These Cabana Lemonade placements should also open up the door for their Coconut Water. Do you think that the Cabana displays would be right up front, next to the registers, if they didn't sell well during the trial period?
It's a shame that most long timers will bail because of the current stock price and the big guys will acquire shares at these prices and will benefit going forward as this company succeeds ... very sad, but true.
Just my opinion and observation. :)
Hi Navy - I live about 30-40 min away from that store, but I'll take a photo of the display next time I'm in that area. I have also spotted the Cabana Lemonades in a number of 7-11's in the Orlando area stores including the location right next to Sea World which is an extremely busy store. I believe the Orlando Distributor for Pulse is doing an excellent job in this area ... Race Tracs, 7-11's, a few private Convenient Stores, & now Super Walmart! We will see what happens going forward ... It takes time.
Cabana Lemonade's & Limeades in Orlando Super Walmart! Display right up front by registers ... Priced at $1.49! They may be making more progress than we think. Hopefully they will report a nice quarter.
My biggest concern Driller - Is that if they need financing, which most likely they will ... there will be some massive dilution when the stock price is at these levels. Very disappointing, but that's the scenario that I see. What are your thoughts?
Driller - you have some nads! I'm waiting for the 3rd Qrt results before i pull any triggers. I was going to buy more in the 40's ... glad I didn't at this point.
They just have been a disappointment each of the last few qrts, so let's hope this one is different.
You could ask them why they would post on their FaceBook page about the Walmart deals, but not as a news release? Also, no news of deals in the last couple of months during the hot summer months?
Unique of Canada has changed their facebook page cover photo and it does contain the Cabana Coconut Water with their other fine quality products. Nice to have that verification!
