New Coconut Water
I just had a can of the New Pineapple Coconut Water. It has a brand new label. Looks similar to the old graphic, but instead of being printed on the can, it has a beautiful, Glossy, Full-Colored Wrap around the can ... definitely the most attractive I have seen from any brand.
The taste has changed as well. My favorite is the Pineapple flavored and although I really liked the old flavor profile, it was slightly weak of just a tad diluted. The new Coconut Water is bursting with flavor ... It tastes so fresh ... like right out of the Coconut! You can really taste the fresh pineapple flavor as well, compared to just a hint before. I really believe that if they can execute and get it in the stores, the customers will try it over the other brands ... based on packaging alone. Once they try it, they will be hooked. I tasted it side by side with Vita Coco w/ pineapple and everyone at my business agreed that Cabana had a much better flavor.
So at least they're moving forward and putting out the products, just not executing as fast as I would like :)
You have to wonder what the stock price would be if they never (way over) exaggerated their earnings or time frame. They should have played it straight and under promised and just built the business from a more reasonable expectation.
I happen to believe that they have the best tasting Lemonades, Limeades, & Coconut Waters. If Pulse Drinks are successful ... just a bonus, because I think that they can still become hugely successful on the existing beverages (IF?) management can get it together and execute.
By the way, the Lemonades & Limeades are still available at all of the Racetrack Convenient Stores in Florida and have been for over 1/2 years. Also, I've seen the Lemonades & Limeades at 2 of the Orlando Walmart Stores and Some of the 7-11's. A couple of Convenient Stores near my business has all of their drinks including the new Coconut Water and they told be the drinks are really starting to sell well since the weather is really starting to warm up.
