Someone buying today?
Same.
No. I did years ago.
$4.85, up 24%. Sure is quiet here. I'm ok with that.
Not much action here in a while.
I'm with you.
For more than 20 years you’ve shared your knowledge here (and SI). The two things I admire the most are your stick-to-it-ness and your willingness to share information (teach). Others come and go, migrate to other platforms, give up, or simply lose interest, but I’m always glad when I sign on, which sometimes can be weeks or months, to see the latest SSP posts. Nobody is right all the time, especially with stocks, but in the words of Gary Koch, you’re better than most.
Happy New Year
Someone messing around with this one, or just year end BS?
nice.
Thanks for the heads up. I will be checking it out. By the way, I just saw a message from you from months back that said, "How are you?". I'm good thanks, haha. Just bought a vacation home near Gulf Shores, Alabama. Time to spend some time on a boat. Never could find that beachfront property in AZ.
Nice call.
Just saw this today. Nice. Love the quote too.
True. But it may not be just the MM. It may be a trader trying to spark attention with a high buy order. If the MM has a bunch of all-or-none sellers in the queue then he may fill a rediculous order like that just to clear it.
I've held a few of these for a while now myself. As time ticks on I've continued to wonder about the purpose of this shell. Other than the CEO I see a lot of 80 and 90 year old guys guiding this ship. Personally I don't expect much unless younger blood gets involved. No offense. I'm just wondering what type of exit strategy does a 90 year old guy need? Does anyone know these people?
The following table gives certain information with respect to our
executive officers and directors:
Name Age Position
---- --- --------
Robert L. Knauss (3) 89 Chairman of the Board and Director
David A. Grossman 56 Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial
Officer, Corporate Secretary and Director
Paul R. Gregory (1)(2) 79 Director
Ted Reynolds (1)(2) 89 Director
True.
NINE Damn, sold way to early. Up 90% today to $5+
Damn. On fire today over $5 now. Any pending news?
I don't know, but damn, I'm loving my $10 shares. Rumors?
I don't personally buy into the idea that the company would delay a filing waiting on a Form 211 approval. That said, there are many reasons for a filing delay. I listed the top two.
Ahh. I misunderstood your post about calling FINRA.
FINRA can't hold up a filing. Filings are 100% at the discretion of the filer. Delays like this are typically related to 1) auditor and/or accountant request, or 2) document preparation.
Your're correct regarding the quick turnaround after FINRA approval. The key is obtaining an interested and committed MM. FINRA rarely rejects 211s if the MM has a respectable history.
AJ47...see my prior post.
Technically you don't hire a MM. A MM must agree to file a Form 211 on the company's behalf. Doing such requires a significant amount of due diligence by the MM. They, in essence, are verifying the legitimacy of the company and it's stock as reported by the transfer agent. Once a MM files the 211 other MM's can "piggyback" off that form and make a market as well. The reward for the MM is the future profit off the spread.
Yes. Definitely thank you!
Thanks for the heads up (for me) at 0.34.
Result: Matter continued.
Thanks. It also says there will be a status check on 3/19 with the judge. What do you suppose that's about?
"Terminate custodianship"...Is that good or bad for CLAD? What's next?
Thanks again.
Thanks for the heads up.
Monster
IGC...wow. My son bought some a week ago. I passed. Crapolla.
Cool stuff. Thanks.
Perhaps it depends on the story but when I click on the provided link I can only see the first couple of paragraphs. If I scroll down I get a pop-up saying if I want to read more I must subscribe and pay. So yeah...it IS doing that.
Interesting how a guy who relies on fake, non-backed US dollars plus a rigged financial system to make his living has such insight and wisdom. The cherry on top is that this article is on a website (Business Insider) which requires readers to pay a fee to read his wisdom.
Thanks.
