IMO: All OTCs are a gamble and a waste. At least I still have a majority of my money in solar to offset the losses I have in this garbage. I very rarely win off playing OTCs and this is another reminder to leave these risks alone - nothing but shorts with zero time to react if the sh*t hits the fan.
Are you forgetting that Yelp has an algorithm to better filter reviews? Google reviews can be easily manipulated and are less accurate than Yelp. There's no control. Does the majority use Google+? Nope. Does Facebook have their own monitored review system like Yelp? Nope.
Yelp has an original idea that Google and Facebook can't touch. My brother has built his own HVAC business in two years thanks to Yelp and Craigslist. Here's THE business model for the 21st century - All real and legitimate. Just so you know, before he used Yelp he was putting up door hangers and was lucky to get 1-2 calls for putting up 100 hangers. Now he gets so much business he is considering getting some help in the summertime to handle his increased workload.
The $300 a year he pays Yelp is mere peanuts compared to the big picture.

From the IRCE website:
Just checked my e-mail on last weeks pick and here's how I feel about it. I didn't invest, either:
We all make mistakes, however, NONE of us are stupid. We all adults and most of know better than to chase the illusion of stock picks and the consequences it comes with with our own discretion. What I'm trying to say is that no apology is necessary. As a matter of fact, it is exactly the opposite.
Go ahead and read or delete; if just one person understands exactly what I'm talking about, then this whole post will mean something. You don't owe us anything, Money Runners, because we are all capable of making our own mistakes in this "cut-throat" game we call the stock market. For everyone that wins, many more get screwed. I started trusting my instincts on THURSDAY and threw down on LQMT over your pick because I knew from the publicity it would take off. I was right.
The analogy is that you guys are just shooting fish in a poisoned swimming pool. We can try to hit the fish with bullets and if they hit, we eat. But the longer the fish stay in the water, the more chance someone is going to sick and die from eating one.
So true. Rumors and speculation are the "bread and butter" of penny stocks and this one spread viral like a wildfire. The last run up regarding the iPad and Liquidmetal was the "March run" I spoke of, but I kept hearing the hypothetical "iPhone this" and "iPhone that" because that's what people assumed - that Liquid Metal would carry over to the iPhone. When people are opimistic, they will always speculate the best-case scenario. Truth is: nobody knows.
Have a great weekend! :)
You have to really understand what has happened in the last few days and it's very simple that even a child can understand: WORLDWIDE EXPOSURE!
A few months ago, the rumors were just going around in just the investment community (investorshub.com) and LQMT shot up to around 30 cents before correction. The most you could of made in a reasonable amount of time would of been about 50% if you caught the beginning of the run. That's what I saw.
Yesterday, the rumors went viral. Everybody (Wired, CNN, Macworld etc.) was talking about it, including myself on Facebook where I was telling everyone to buy in for a quick short term gain after the daily chart consolidated from Wednesday's run up. The publicity alone on the internet pushed this better than any PR could of done. Period. #1 trending on Yahoo! says everything I need to know to go all in and I did with whatever I had available.
I knew a breakout was very possible but I also figured that a retrace was imminent from the starting run range of 0.16-0.48 of today . I stayed a few pennies behind with my trailing stops and I made a good choice because toward EOD there were investors selling around $50,000 in shares at the ask. Are they just trying to hold it down until the next leg up, I don't know. If I did, I'd be the next Billionaire like Warren Buffet. :)
Monday I would not be surprised if there is a correction back to the 30's. It is way due.
Research and watchlist, IMO. :)
Remember, nothing is set in stone with Liquid Metal with Apple. If it were, this thing would already be trading multi-dollars overnight. Another important factor is that the new iPhone may not be released until October instead of Summer like usual. If that happens; Do you really think people are going to hold everything until then? I don't think so, especially a stock that trades a little over 2 million daily on average.
Will I be back in-in the future? If implemented to iPhone 5, you bet! All in, no joke, and I'd hold my shares for years instead of hours.
Not enough MM support at bid. Get real, guys and don't get washed out! Remember this was trading at 0.15-0.26 range a couple of days ago and we are due for a retrace.
Screaming correction. I got out at 0.46 and 0.44 from this morning.
This pick was VERY, VERY, EASY. Why? Liquidmetal Tech was in the #1 trended on Yahoo! yesterday, which beats any PR - EVER! There was so much hype, publicity, news, and curiosity regarding this new technology and the charts consolidated nicely toward the EOD. Bottom line is that LiquidMetal Tech has something now that they didn't have before: Worldwide Exposure!
To be blunt, you would had to have been a complete moron not to invest in this yesterday if you had the funds available in your account. I had to wait today at the opening bell to get in because I had to wait for 1,000 to clear. 33.5x3,000 shares.
I hope my money clears tomorrow in my account. I cannot wait to get back into this!
Do you know if LiquidMetal Tech owns the patents? Or someone else? I've been talking about this technology for months since I first found out about it to everyone I know. I'd like do some more DD, but I'm at work right now. When I think LQMT, I think about the success Gorilla Glass has had over the last few years. :) This is getting exciting now!
Does anybody know if Apple has a contract with them? Or are they going though another distributor? It was my original understanding that LQMT owns the patents for this technology. This could be HUGE!
Think Gorilla Glass and compare to Liquid Metal Tech! Just need someone to confirm it for me and I'm all in! Thanks guys!
Last post for the day and I don't have a premium account so here I am:
I was in 1,000 shares, not too much and I started buying around 1.63. Bought a little yesterday, too. Really thought we'd make it to 3's easily and I was planning on taking 75% before selling half. I may get back in but that depends on how we do tomorrow. Plus I have to wait for my funds to clear. Just want to get my losses back now, but we'll see how well this picks up. It may not be worth it anymore.
I thought my stop loss would save me from retaining at least 25%, but instead the flurry of sell orders was no match for it. Plus I had just gotten into work at when all hell broke loose. There was nothing I could do away from my computer. EOD is going to be rough IMO. It is really hard to say if tomorrow we will see this rebound a bit. Psychologically, there's way too much skepticism now, where as before it felt like you couldn't lose until at least $3. :(
Day traders are taking this a quarter at a time 1.25-1.50 .75-1.00. Insane!
I did. I had a stop loss in at 1.90 that didn't fill until until 1.25 The sell orders were backed up that much. I couldn't believe it.
Correct. Sorry, I'm kinda frazzled today. :(
Is 60 cents is the strongest resistance?
Who knows. This whole thing was based on hype alone, not financials or anything of the like. Could go back to the 30's for all we know. I'm not saying that to scare anybody, I just got a little greedy like most and it cost me a couple of bills. SNPK WAS on fire and you know what they say when you play with fire, right?
So difficult to say what will happen. Without the MM's backing this thing up, seeing gains again is hard to picture. We need another Mil at the bid!
From bad to worse. Now I don't feel the urge to blow by brains out, figuratively speaking. :)
True, It's probably not over, but people are just trying to protect their profits. Anything at the ask over 25k and people will get cold feet due to the drop. Tomorrow should be good. :)
After the shake, anything without bid support is going to get taken out quickly. I'm hoping I can try to get back in later, but we'll see.
I don't understand, either. I wasn't even using AON.
I set a stop at 1.90 and it didn't go through until 1.25. Nothing but a bunch of bull.
You can almost assume that there will be a morning shake before noon EST everyday, especially crossing over to the $2 mark. Great time to buy IMO. If this continues, you might have one more chance tomorrow to pick up some shares under $2 before we go to $2.20+.
Portland Trailblazers = More publicity for SNPK!
http://thestockmarketwatch.com/newsletters/2012/04/12/snpk-associates-with-the-trail-blazers-nba-team-3/
The news just keeps on coming!
Buy everything you can, as early as you can.
2nd retrace coming?
Damn, at this rate we'll be doing 1 million dollars in volume every five minutes!
SNPK just keeps on consolidating perfectly, no matter what is at the ask. This is gonna be huge.
Hey guys, does anybody know when the R/S is set to take place? I already sold half and still hanging in there with some 3's and 2's.
Due to the pump, I'd be even more skeptical staying in this any longer. Forget what you paid for your shares, it appears that investors are just taking whatever they can get and getting out. Hope is a very risky bet to make with your money. No projected news or PR's and even if they do come out, there's no saying what they will be or how it will affect the share price.
I've been in and had stocks that got pumped up only to retrace back to where they started and sometimes even lower and this looks like another one of them. Good luck, man - protect yourself out there!
The more I think about i, the more I think the MR e-mails are a elaborate scam. It would be nice if we we're actually all working as a team, but someone isn't playing fair.
I should know, I bought some. Like I said, their lower picks under 0.0009 do better than their higher ones - stay away from multi- day runners. The longer they go, the higher the risk.
The only reason why SNP*K did so well is because they jumped in right after their IPO, so of course it would go up because no one knew what the ranges were. MSLP could easily go back to a penny very soon. It depends how much fake support they want to use.
How does it feel that someone else is in control of your money? Can you trust them?
Totally. I've seen a few fake bids today so far in an attempt to drive the price up. People are starting to wise up to this. It could run again, but their original call and range is definitely bogus. "Buy anything under 0.018"... yeah right, Ok - Sure...LOL. Hope they can read sarcasm.
Guaranteed they won't say anything until we're back above 0.015 and the support holds. I've played a few of their plays and lost more than gained, but getting better at understanding what's going on. You just never know because it's never consistent. You just have to watch it like a hawk and get in when the support starts building up. Still watching.
Or they could just come back and say "We only ALERTED you" like they did last week. People's skepticism is starting to come into play. When tthe alerts come out, the holders sell. Going up is just a matter of chance and luck. However, their lower cost plays tend to do better than their higher ones.
All I'm saying is the alerts have become a total crap shoot. This is way too high to even consider getting in. The support just isn't there because everyone was notified of this yesterday.
Obviously, there is a retrace, so if you've held for the past week or more, selling makes sense. It might run again, who knows.
These multiple day runs provide terrible entry points. All it's doing is letting the people know who invested in this before the run to sell TODAY. Great for them, bad for us. No other reason for the high morning asks IMO.
