Yes, I was asked if I wanted to lend as well.
It is amazing to see how many of the long term NWBO shareholders (myself included) are also investors in LWLG! I think there has been a good bit of cross-pollination....
Does this affect NWBO? Moderna and Merck joining forces in melanoma treatment. https://www.freethink.com/health/cancer-vaccine
Question: How can the bid and the ask stay equal for such an extended period?
I wish that we would put more emphasis on funding trade schools that could help high school graduates train for careers in the tech sector instead of sending many off to 4-year liberal arts colleges which in many cases do not leave them prepared for any carreer at all.
Loophole73, I hope that you will not leave the board. Your contributions are appreciated and welcome. I am sure that I speak for more than myself.
Yes, X, the new IHUB format is not easy to navigate. I have changed my account back to the "classic view" which I find much more manageable.
The shorts must be working overtime! I just got a message from Schwab asking if I would like to lend my shares!
Thank you, Xena for your reply!
Xena, I am sorry to be such a dunce, but can you explain how it is that institutions have increased their holdings so dramatically in the past few weeks while being able to push the price down considerably? What happens in the dark pool, and how do the large players interact with and recompense the shorts? I know this is a big question but any clarification would be greatly appreciated!
Can any of the more techically savy posters here expand upon how LK-99 might relate to Lightwave?
I thought that this was rather an interesting news items possibly relating to our court case.

I think many of us keep our shares in non-margin accounts so that the shares cannot be lent out.
Xena,
Here is an expanded chart which tracks the volume of sales (red line) since inception. The yellow rectangles on the right side indicate down (selling) volume and the blue rectangles indicate the up (buying) volume.
This chart goes all the way back to the beginning. So it looks as though the largest volume of stock was acquired over the years averaging about the $.67 level. (I wish that was my average price!)
It is only during the period from the spring of 2021 to the current day that the average price at which people purchased had risen to the mid $6 level.
Overall, since inception, the longs tend to have the balance at under $1.
I hope I am making sense!

Xena, you are absolutely correct. Sorry to be slow to respond but I was out running errands. The red line is indicative only of the median price for the period which is covered by the flag portion of the chart - basically the last two years. So it indicates the breakeven point for stock purchasers since the spring 2021 breakout. Those of us who bought earlier are not represented in that grouping - obviously the overall average price is much lower.
I am posting a chart that my son sent to me, thinking that you would find it interesting. Notice how the red line, which is the top price range for this past Friday, bisects, fairly neatly, the volume charts on the far right side of the chart. This would lead one to think that we are now in the range where most of the shareholders are in the green and therefore are more likely to maintain their holdings. All in all, the chart looks pretty positive.
Needless to say, this is totally my son's construction! Neither myself nor my husband are chartists but I thought you would all find this interesting. Enjoyed seeing all of you in Denver!

Has anyone read about this new MIT microchip? How does it relate to LWLG?
https://boldtv.com/matthew-hirsch/2023/05/12/mit-engineers-create-new-groundbreaking-microchips/
I had a rather curious occurence today. On my Schwab account this afternoon when I checked the "positions" category of my account, I noticed that under the LWLG column, it posted "non-marginable". I do not have a margin account to begin with so I was a bit surprised to see my LWLG stock categorized as "non-marginable" since in a non-margin account that should be a given. Another stock that I own which is an OTC stock and also carries a low stock price did not have the same categorization of "non-marginable". A few minutes later, when I refreshed my login to Schwab, the normal view was restored and there was no categorization of "non-marginable".
I just wondered whether there is so much demand for shares to short that firms like Schwab are doing unusual things?
Any thoughts? Anyone else have a similar experience?
Xena, sending you the best! You always seem so invincible!

Just read this and thought that this might have something to do with our foundries slow uptake?
X, it was a real pleasure meeting you at the shareholder meeting. I have to say that I have come to view you as the master sargeant of our board! Many thanks for all you do and for keeping us all in line!
I remember you well from your posts on ELTP years ago when I was a stock holder there. I gave up with that mission a couple of years ago and put my funds to work here. Welcome! Let's hope for a better outcome here!
What makes you feel that way?
Thank you, Biosectinvestor, for your kindness in replying to my inquiry. You were exactly right - my initial reaction was that this particular CI, Dostarlimab, might be a miracle drug for any cancer. It is wonderful that those people who had been suffering with that particular cancer now have a very viable drug. Hopefully, NWBO will soon be in a similar position with a potentially wider application population.
Many thanks,
Thank you, GPha, for your kind reply. The nomenclature explanation was particularly helpful. So I am assuming that the cancer treatment with "Dostarlimab" refers to an agent targeting the immune system. On first reading of the article I posted I was concerned that we had a true competitor for NWBO, but upon further inquiry I realized that they were working with only a sample of 18 patients who had been specifically chosen.
Thank you again for your thoughtful reply and welcome explanation.
Thanks for the info!
Is anyone familiar with this cancer treatment?

Thank you, Whosleftholdindabag, for the many good posts you have shared here in the past. Yes, it has been a long journey but one that has had a wonderful cadre of shipmates! Thank you for your thoughtful post.
Sojourner, congratulations! You certainly nailed it!!!
You have a point!
Just wondering if anyone on the board had seen this article and curious as to its possible implications for photonics. Hopefully, someone more adept in the sciences will be able to respond!

I, too, wish to express my condolences. But be of good cheer, there are many more stalwart longs here than might otherwise appear!
Thanks, Think1st. That is helpful!
Does the latest IBM/Samsung accouncement have any impact on Lightwave?

Is there some reason that IHUB is posting LWLG as closing at $19.17? I didn't think that afterhours trades were counted as a closing price.
Well done!!!
I also own both LWLG and NWBO - both have been longterm holds for me (10 years for each!). I have faith that they will both eventually prevail.
I think you can tell from the overwhelming support that your charts have received that the vast majority of posters here hope that you will not slow down your inputs to the website. We need you! With many thanks and much appreciation -
Nick, Congratulations and very best wishes for a perfect wedding day! May you and your bride be very happy!
Just because the two firms have been rather closely associated in the past month.
