Well, I am almost out of this.
Been carrying it for years and I know the drill. Not going to leave that money and profit locked up again.
Another missed window in January. Best wishes to those staying.
I have a small position left after closing most out today to get my original plus a hefty chunk of cash.
On to other things with fresh powder.
Sure, he said that... but he still didn't name who that was with... just an announcement that it happened.
So who was acquired?
3 business days left.
January is almost up...
Will we or won't we see this:
"I appreciate all the support and great messages. We have signed the acquisition deals and we will post them in January."
Pretty good Volume today already... 90.3 Mil and it's only been about 2 hours or so...
Now back at 4's
Bam... 4's.... NICE
Right.... 312.6M volume in about 70 Minutes.
WOW... ASK dropped like a rock.. down to 14Mil and then jumped back up to 139 Mil.
Volume happening now... 272Mil and oops... threes are now here.
All it would take I think is for SG to retire some shares and this thing would really move.
Not like it matters for me but any idea why this is up .0022 today?
There is nothing going on and there hasn't been for ages.
I would expect Chin to Sell the shell and then we get an R/S since the A/S is SOOOOOO high!!
I concur... I tried to use East versus West pricing (also factoring some fudge room going high) but no matter how you spin it.. Something is off with the money aspect.
That is something they really need to explain as that is how they make their money.
Curious I-Glow... You mention that the 50 acres can't be real because the States would shut them down but also mention in the same post the other "average collectives" are not making enough so that can't afford to pay them...
Question... Why is it in your opinion that these other "average collectives" can grow and sell without being shut down but SKTO couldn't possibly do it?
That Said, I have some concerns about the contracts as well...Maybe my math is really wrong but I tend to lean with I-Glow on this part.
Some average Costs:
1/8 oz = $30 - $65 depending on where you get it.
So average about $55 1/8oz overall.
1 ounce = $55 x 8 = $440 wk per person
At those numbers:
1 oz a week @ $440 x 500 people week (at that proposed low end) = $220K WK x 52 WK = $11.44 Mil yr (before expenses and owners draw)
With 100 customers a day... small office (2K sq ft, electricity, etc)... 2 employees @ $20/hr... About 15K in expenses a month x 12 months = 180K
Cost of goods sold per year (assumes $5,000 per pound wholesale) x 31.5 LBS week = $157.5K wk x 52 weeks = $8.19 Mil
That's 11.4 Mil a year - $180K Expenses - $8.19 Mil cost of goods sold = 3.03 Mil.
That is before TAXES and the Owners Draw
Granted I am making a lot of assumptions but these are NOT outlandish numbers... 500 people a week at 1 oz per week = MILLIONS in gross revenue yes, but then all the cuts and we are much lower.
They need to explain this a bit better. Maybe at 2K people a week you could afford it but not these small collectives.
I tend to disagree right now. I think there are plenty of people who aren't really sure because of past issues that have seen the rise and then the fall and are just trying to get out.
Not enough volume here to be dumping I don't think. Little unlikely.
Maybe the Feds still consider it a Schedule I drug but that doesn't mean that can't change or won't change.
I beg to differ whether what Uruguay is doing has anything to do with SKTO.
The point of the post was that times are changing and not just on the US State and Federal Level.
Since SKTO's announced the acquisition of Medical Greens SKTO has changed its business model to focus purely in the medical marijuana space.
Since Medical Greens currently provides licensing, management, and logistic services for Medical Marijuana collectives throughout California. That doesn't mean it couldn't eventually go more global if the opportunity presented itself while we work through those issues within the US.
SKTO IS a REAL COMPANY... whether you choose to accept that or not is your choice. SK3 Group, Inc. You may be smarter than most and even smarter than moi but just a reminder in case you forgot... that little "INC." at the end of the name means they are incorporated and therefor an existing business entity...
That said, I believe you are correct. It is a long way away from being fully settled with the Fed. Doesn't mean it can't or won't happen and organizations like SKTO will be standing by to take over and make money just like early brewers, distributors, and financiers after prohibition.
With enough popular support it will change. I believe that a whole country in our Hemisphere (not to mention with the support of the Mexican Government and Brazil)moving toward legalization will have a BIG impact on what happens here in the US and companies like SKTO.
Times are a changing. Look at the news in the LA Times today. Uruguay is about to become the first COUNTRY to legalize Marijuana.
http://www.latimes.com/news/world/worldnow/la-fg-wn-uruguay-legalizing-marijuana-20130801,0,5888917.story
Some Excerpts:
BUENOS AIRES -- Uruguay appears likely to become the first Latin American country to legalize marijuana after its lower house of Congress approved a bill to regulate and sanction the consumption of pot.
Uruguay’s upper house, the Senate, still must pass the measure, but analysts believe the government-led majority favors the law and that it will be approved by October. President Jose Mujica is a strong proponent of the measure, though polls have shown a majority of Uruguayans oppose it.
The 50-46 vote in the capital, Montevideo, late Wednesday came as legalization or decriminalization of drugs increasingly is debated among Latin American leaders who see the U.S.-led war on drugs as a failure.
The law would also allow the formation of so-called marijuana clubs, with 15 to 45 members each, to grow the plants. Mujica has touted the law as a way of fighting illegal drug trafficking, which he has said has brought more violence to his nation.
“At the heart of the Uruguayan marijuana regulation bill is a focus on improving public health and public safety,” said Hannah Heltzer, of New York-based Drug Policy Alliance, a civil society group that favors new approaches to what it calls a “failed war on drugs.”
Yeah, it went back up. Just some little blips it appears.
Looks like we have that base in place right now at least.

So we clear 11's, see 12's and drop back to 10's.... wow.
and more importantly... sell when you want later!!
Looks like I missed this run. Got out at 17... Oh well. Left some money on the table for the next person I suppose.
Maybe i get back in... we'll see.
Is the TA Gagged? I don't remember and would like to know. If not, it maybe as simple as a phone call in order to get this whole dumping thing put to bed.
And there it goes. Under .001. I knew I was an idiot for not getting out... Golden mistake of getting wrapped up in the hype. NEVER AGAIN!!!
I am out as soon as I can be and will wait for the next run.
I operate one of my business's out of a PO Box... that doesn't make it NOT a legitimate business.
SK3 Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SKTO) announced today that it has engaged the International firm Rubicon Capital Advisors LLC to advise SK3 and its subsidiary, Medical Greens, Inc. on all matters concerning shareholder and investor awareness for a period of 6 months. Rubicon specializes in overseeing the investor relations for micro-mid cap listed entities looking to raise capital in alternative markets. Rubicon's CEO said, "It has been with great interest that we have followed the SKTO story and feel that our expertise and proper timing can bring enormous, long-term shareholder value in the weeks and months to come." "We are pleased to have them join us at this juncture. They are an experienced investor relations firm and we are lucky to have them aboard as we continue to build out our operations and reach," said Jeffrey Benz, General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Business, Legal, and Government Affairs.
I would have to agree no matter which side of the fence you currently sit on that this was a bit manipulative.
To act as though being told that you will get 3-1 as a dividend might not influence peoples buying of a stock is ludicrous in my opinion.
That would definitely be a reason for some to initially buy or take an increased position in a company.
Then to state that you are moving that date out AFTER the price has dropped is irresponsible of the company as well.
While I consider myself long here and also while I don't have a ton invested here... it is really odd behavior and I don't think the company acted properly and that should be recognized.
Doesn't make it a scam, doesn't make it a wise investment... just makes it seem a bit fishy and I for one don't like it one bit. They shouldn't make a statement like that without following through. If they knew it couldn't be done quickly... it should have been retracted IMMEDIATELY and the CEO should be held accountable.
My 2 cents and off my soapbox.
Well, someone bought 200K shares today. Poor soul...
Be sitting with the rest of us waiting for the next chump to buy the shell and do the reverse I believe... Ask @ about 710 mil. lol
In the call he was very explicit in explaining the dark periods and the reasons behind them and they were all acquisition related.
1st the offer of less than 2 Mil for everything.
Then the 800K offer for Podiatry
Both went through long negotiation periods (6+ months each).
The the Site redesign that is about 80% complete and going through testing currently..
Please correct anything if I misunderstood.
Yes, I buy through E-Trade. Flat rate trades.
Can't ask him. Had to be sent to that email address to be included.
lol. Thanks but I am CST... but coming out of PST and forgot the other hour. lol I appreciate it though. I'll be there.
DOH, I am in idiot!!!. Wrong time zone.. lol
Those are the numbers but you can't get in... it's locked.
I was on, heard Scott join... then I got booted and now can't get back on. Is anyone on the call now? Anything of any substance yet?
I can't get back in after it kicked me out and the Bridge is now locked by the moderator. Ridiculous.
8 minutes to find out if I am REALLY an idiot for holding this as long as I have and NOT getting out when I had the chance once again.
Run you PIG, RUN!!!!
WOW, weird. Volume not showing any shares sold but for the last few days I keep seeing a change of minus .0001 though we are at no bid and the Ask has went from like 600 Mill to about 840 Million.
Not sure what that's about!!
I think it is more about most of the board here has already bought this up as much as they probably can.
There were a ton of shares out there to gobble up. Most of the flippers gone now so that money is no longer there for more shares either.
Will need new blood with cash to move this I think.
Atlanta back in... WHAT??????????????????????
WOW, lol. Good luck old timer.
What does this mean for the average OTC investor? OTCBB, while quoting unlisted investments, has slightly stricter rules, including financial reporting rules.
Pink Sheets continues to quote investments that may be listed on the OTCBB but also investments that do not qualify to be posted there.
For investors who love the excitement of higher risk investments but want slightly more safety that comes from stricter reporting requirements, the OTCBB is the quotation service to use.
For investors who love the excitement of higher risk investments and want greater access should look at investments found on Pink Sheets.
As I understand it, you can ask questions after the call.
People should take advantage... I remember the last time it was an open Q&A only 2 questions were asked and then silence (yep, I been around long enough to remember that).
I hope it isn't the same this time.
E-Trade does... So not sure how all that makes a difference.
