Kender Solar November 2010 Newsletter
Dear Investors and Newsletter Subscribers,
We are happy to keep you informed of our recent corporate developments.
1. We have a New President and CEO
Kender Energy has a new President and CEO on board by the name of Dr. Suchindran Chatterjee. Dr. “Chat” comes to Kender with a four decade long illustrious career in both the corporate and academic worlds. We are very fortunate to have a person of his caliber at our helm to guide us into the next exciting stages of the company’s growth in engineering, manufacturing, and distribution.
Dr. “Chat” holds a Ph.D. in Software Documentation from Vanderbilt University, and advanced degrees in Aeronautical Engineering, English, Technical Communication/Linguistics, and an M.B.A. in Information Systems Management/Accounting/Finance. Over his long dual career he has managed annual corporate and/or military budgets of over $10 Billion. Since 1988, he has served as the top Technology Executive or CEO, and the strategic thought leader, at five large organizations such as Digital Equipment Corporation (now H-P), three of the world’s top ten insurance companies and largest banks where he was responsible for I/T planning, program management, strategy and direction, and strict contract control. There he built the complex technical architectures and designs while intertwining business and technology goals through improvement of technical and operating processes.
2. We are being helped in our Efforts by two Major European Engineering Universities
Kender Energy has started to collaborate with two major European engineering Universities to perfect the Kender concepts and engine and make it a reliable and long lasting producer of alternative energy for industrial and residential use.
Viability is the key word for any energy producing device. The Kender engine is being engineered to last for 20 years without maintenance. For that reason, the input and experience of several University professors and advanced graduate students is of great importance for the entire Kender research effort.
3. Research is progressing very well
A full simulation and modelling of the Kender Engine is being aggressively targeted for release around 45 days. The working production ready prototype will follow shortly after that.
We are a bit late due to some hiccups in sections of the original concept that have had to be drastically modified, but we are getting there. You will soon be a proud shareholder of the company owning the most powerful heat transferring solar energy system on the planet.
Keep an eye on your KNDR ticker.

Interesting conjecture. Wondering how you came to make that connection. Sounds plausible but some reinforcement of your corollary (and possibly some PR from Kender) would go a long way to foster the idea that they are (potentially) a real player in the market.

Dear Investor,
We are happy to keep you informed of our recent corporate developments.
1. Great new steps in R&D
We have move many steps further to owning the most powerful solar panel you can find today. We have now signed an R&D partnerships with a world renown international engineering firm. We have now transferred all our R&D work to their lab, our being somehow limited in its capacity.
The steps with the engineering firm are the following:
A. Technical Viability (6 weeks of work to go)
- List of technical risks
- List of weaknesses
- List of targets for first series (volume, cost , manufacturing)
B. Market Validation (3 weeks of work)
- Business model fine-tuning
- Manufacturing strategy (on-house or outsourcing, short term and long term).
- Supplier investigation
C. Industrial strategy (3 weeks of work)
- Product and development program
- Study on manufacturing plant and setup costs (volume operational costs)
- Fully documented business model
- Opportunities and exploitation plan
Once all this is done (12 weeks), then we have the first products coming out. Also, once this work is finished, we will have major announcements on the product and our capability to produce energy (electricity) simply from air. We want to have the whole world listening when we announce that. And when this engineering firm speaks, we believe the whole world will listen.
These steps have happened with a slight slowdown, as in R&D nothing usually works on schedule. We indeed tried to push the efforts as far as possible in our own lab, but several elements needed more sophisticated equipment and staff. This has set us back by 3 months in our efforts, but we are still on track to meet our target by year end.
2. Funding of KNDR
At Kender, we have always been backed by very wealthy investors. They have supported the company, and continue to do so. We have received an investment of 250'000 US$ from our early investors, end of August. These proceeds will contribute to finanlize our R&D efforts. Substantial additional funding is available and secured, after certain R&D benchmarks are met.
3. Product availablity
The first series of prototypes for demo purposes will come out not in October 2010, but rather early next year 2011. We are a bit late, but we are getting there. You will soon be a proud shareholder of the company owning the most powerful solar energy system on the planet. Keep an eye on your KNDR ticker.
Best regards,

The low bid of the day is .10 and so is the lowest trade..
It appears the entire board has been suspended for TOU violation. Such a shame as I was having a great time whistling in the dark as my VGRP holdings wasted away....
Hellloooo...anyone there??
Anyone else notice there's no sell side activity, i.e. I don't see any Ask price or quantity...
Brazil Oops: Now you're replying to you own posts. Please tell me how Mr. Molen's lawyer found out who you are so fast? A member since 7/28/10.
BTW, lawyers don't send cease & desist e-mails. They don't threaten. If they think they have proof of harm, they litigate. It's how they make their living....
Asking who? The Brazilian government? The South American Securities & Exchange Commission? The United Nations??
An international lawsuit against a former consultant who was supposedly paid $2,500 per month.
Have you any idea of the cost of such an action? Is Mr. Chew that rich that Mr. Molen could hope to make a substantial profit from a slander/defamation lawsuit?
Please send me some of whatever you're smoking...
This is a marketplace where companies go to raise capital. That capital is provided by people we call investors. Investors buy, hold & sell stock for a wide variety of reasons.
I don't know about you but I invested with the anticipation that the stock price would go up over what I paid & I potentially could make some good money.
Am I happy about how this stock performs. No way. I just don't have that 'Poor me' attitude that so many on this board seem to have.
fbinvestor - What is the color of the sky in your world? You have no concept of how things work in the real world. Get a lawyer, start a law suit.
Let me know when someone comes forward with a pro bono attorney who is willing to pursue a case based on the rhetoric on this board.
I've got a little over $5k invested in this stock. I sure & the hell ain't gonna spend any money to pay some lawyer to investigate your claims. That, my friend, is looking up a dead horses's ass!!
If Mr. Chew has files a complaint with the SEC and they feel he has grounds then they will take action.
If you feel you have been injured because you didn't do your due diligence and lost your grocery money, then you file a complaint too. Otherwise, quit your endsless poor me bitching..
fbinvestor - Get your facts straight. We are not buying shares from Molen. We are trading shares of VGPR amongst ourselves and others. Once the initial (or subsequent) offers sold out the company was out of the picture. Any profits or losses now are determined by the market price of any buy or sell, not by VEGA or Molen and those profits or losses belong to the stockholders....
Too late, bid back to .10....
Advise all who bought in at .05 yesterday to sell, sell, sell. You tripled in one day. Congrats on your savvy investment skills...
Bid now at .20 on E*Trade
Nothing on the Ask Bid or Size yet..
My E*Trade shares converted today too..
Looks like the ask will be .25 when it really opens..
True facts, false facts, what facts? All I'm hearing is allegations. If this Mr. Chew has filed a complaint with the SEC, ask him to join the board, substantiate his identity and make us privy to his side of the story.
I'm not saying your posts are true or not, just that I haven't seen any convincing evidence to substantiate your claims.
Maybe Mr. Molen has a talent for selling ice cubes to Eskimos, maybe this, maybe that. If you're an investor in this company (like I am) then you're looking for facts upon which to make sound investing decisions.
If I didn't do my own DD, who's to blame? If I invested my grocery money and I'm forced to sit around watching it grow moldy (i.e. unmarketable) should I be barking at the moon?
I invested in Vega with the expectations that the stock would rise and I would benefit financially. I invested with money I could afford to lose and if it's gone then so be it.
Let's put a little perspective on this. There are people who are starving, who will go to sleep tonight and not wake up tomorrow. They would kill to be in your shoes no matter what your plight. This is not the end of the world and you and I will continue to make mistakes and (hopefully) learn from them.
Time to get off my soapbox. I do love to hear myself. I sound so....full of it.
Get a grip people! Either file a report with the SEC or quit flapping your virtual jaws. With all this he said, she said on this board, along with the downward spiraling character assasinations it is increasingly difficult to filter any real content from the board posts.
All I see is accusations flying back and forth with no real substance in most of them. Some have quoted sources or resources which is helpful for others to add to their knowledge base. Others prefer to make unsubstantiated claims and hold them up to be true, expecting us to have faith in some avatar's word.
Let's try to tone it down and get back to some investing basics.
BTW, I realise these words will probaqbly go unheaded, just wanted to express the frustration watching this freakin' ping-pong game!!!
I put in an e-mail to Knight Capital Group to see if they make the market in Vega and, if so, when the expect to resume trading. When it's not trading the brokers can't see who's a market maker so I'm just guessing it may be Knight.
BTW = By The Way
Also, here's a link to a listing of other businesses at that address (including a bunch at Suite #3)...
http://www.thecompanything.com/RegisteredAddress/95%20WILTON%20ROAD/1
That address doesn't compute. Did you mean 95 Wilton Road? If so, it's about a mile from Wesminster Cathedral. BTW, that address just happens to be the same as Mail Boxes, Etc....
Here's the link:
http://www.allinlondon.co.uk/directory/1257/5083.php
Please post a link to Q1 results. I find nothing on the Vega site or on any of the stock quote sites I use..
Oops, missed a decimal point. My new shares should be 8.4K, not 84K. Math 101....
My broker (E-Trade) hasn't (as yet) moved my holdings from VGPR to VGPRD. They still show I own 2.52M shares rather than the 1:300 converstion to 84K. They now value them at .0048 per share rather than the closing price on 7/29 of .0009 (I have no idea where they got that price. My best guess is the MM).
Wish there was some way they would leave my 2.52M and show it at .27 per share. I'd be king of the world!!! However, I'm certain all this stuff will get sorted out pretty soon and then we'll see where life takes us.....
Actually, you can short OTCBB & Pink Sheet stocks.
Here's a summary from Investopedia:
In regards to pink sheet and over-the-counter (OTC) listed securities, short selling is allowed. An OTC security is one that is not traded on a formal exchange such as the New York Stock Exchange or the American Stock Exchange. OTC securities are often quoted on the OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB). Pink sheet securities are very similar to OTC securities in that they are not listed on exchanges, but are quoted on a daily publication issued by the National Quotation Bureau. However, pink sheet securities carry much more risk because they do not require the companies to register with the SEC or stay current in their financial statements.
Although short selling is allowed on these securities, it is not without its problems. Short selling on OTC is extremely risky because these securities are often very thinly traded, which makes them very illiquid. This illiquidity can prove hazardous if an investor needs to cover an increasingly unprofitable short position. If the volume is very low, covering the position may become a very unlikely prospect. Another problem that has arisen with short selling in OTC securities is the use of pump and dump schemes. These schemes are done by con artists who use internet message boards and SPAM emails to heavily promote a thinly traded stock in which they have long positions. When this happens, the result is often a high spike in the price of the stock, followed by a fall. However, the initial spike will devastate any investor with a short position. These schemes often use OTC stocks because they are relatively unknown when compared to exchange traded stocks.

BTW, I had an order in for 500K @.0007, it didn't fill so I bumped it to .0008, still no fill. I bumped it to .0009 and they only filled 20K in the last 10 mins. That's why it closed at .0009.
Makes me wonder though why there was no interest in somebody selling any shares at .0009. Looks like stockholders are taking a wait & see approach. So, let's just join them and wait & see what happens tomorrow...
I'm on board with an opening bid/ask of .24 & .27
As per the announcement from Vega, the shares will be listed as VGPRD for 20 days, then revert to VGPR. I doubt they will be re-issuing anything under VGPRD.
As for buy/selling, you'll have to consult your broker. I suspect you'll do it under VGPRD until it reverts back but that's just my best guess.....
I'm going to go out on a limb here and venture that whoever makes the market in this stock hasn't got the stock priced properly in the system yet and that when it really starts trading it will be in the .24 to .27 area....
I do not consider asking legitimate questions about a stock I own to be bashing. I bought in based on the PSC recommendation (my bad). In other words I faile dto do my due dilegence. I have averaged down to .0022 for 2.5M shares. I would love to see it start to climb out of the basement.
The questions I've raised equate to "Show Me The Money". I'm looking for the holes in his side and the holes in his feet. Somebody, anybody, show me the evidence that this is not a scam! To date all we have are words. Give me something to help me sleep at night.....
Remember the "Green Valley Project"? Here's a little blip from the VGPR press release:
Vega recently announced that it had entered into an Agreement with Chattanooga based, Tennessee Power Company to purchase the necessary methane gas to run the project. Tennessee Power Company owns the rights to the coal bed methane located in the 314 acre abandoned Green Valley coal mine. The methane gas will be pumped from the mine and delivered through gas lines directly to the production facility located on the land that is now leased by Vega.
Here's a little background on the Tennessee Power Company from their web site:
Home Page of Michael Ray Knauff
Welcome to my home page. I have shut down Tennessee Power Company, but still have an interest in the utility industry. Please continue by clicking on whatever items below are of interest to you.
Check out TPS at: http://home.earthlink.net/~tpco/
By the way, the owner of TPA is now hawking a 'green friendly' Soap called Miracle II. Are you starting to get the picture now??
Where is the proof of the China deal? How about Brazil? Green Valley? Is there really a Board of Directors? If so, who's on it?
All these claimed projects, yet nowhere do I find independent confirmation of these deals (news articles, real press releases published by legitimate sources, etc).
Am I missing something here? This for all the world just seems like a lot of hype. With such a rosy future predicted by the company why aren't the really savvy investors jumping on the bandwagon? Why is the stock trading at historical lows, just barely hoovering above par value?
Fraud = Material Misrepresentation. If you have reason to believe the the company made fraudulent statements (i.e claiming to have contracts where none exist, etc.) that are an effort to hype their operations in order to line their own pocket, then you have something worthy of an SEC inquiry.
You might download & complete the forms on the SEC web site and then send copies to Mr. Molen (before sending them to the SEC) so he understand you are serious about wanting some answers.
If enough people complain to the SEC we may help prevent future investors from being bilked....
If you want to report VGPR to the SEC:

If you feel you've been victimized by Mr. Molen's actions this might be a good resource....
Just to reiterate what ack0605 was stating, here's the verbiage from OTCMarkets.com about their Pink Sheet STOP advisory:
Indicates companies that are not able or willing to provide disclosure to the public markets - either to a regulator, an exchange or Pink Sheets. Companies in this category do not make Current Information available via Pink Sheets News Service, or if they do, the available information is older than six months. This category includes defunct companies that have ceased operations as well as 'dark' companies with questionable management and market disclosure practices. Publicly traded companies that are not willing to provide information to investors should be treated with suspicion and their securities should be considered highly risky.
I also own a bunch of this paper. I remain doubtful that it has any upside potential. As for moving to a different market, I recommend looking up 'Pipe Dream' in the dictionary. You'll probably see a picture of Michael K. Molen..
Vega is way past due with providing a progress update to their shareholders vis a vis their stated intention to move VGPR off the Pink Sheets to a "Major" exchange.
I assume that their financial reporting structure is giving them problems as any legitimate exchange has strigent rules addressing that issue (and many more).
In any case, the management should feel a responsibility to be forthright and provide us with the status of the proposed move. Their lack of follow through 'might' indicate there are some problems with the company that may preclude such a move.
I'd like to hear other cogent opinions from board members.
