Wondered if Lindsey’s statement re: mine’s must be environmentally mined was in deference to Sen. Lisa M— trying to appease her. Just a thought. But seemed as though he might have had NAK on his mind.
How do I research insider buying?
Saw this on Yahoo:
I've heard the rumor.
Many say JV or BO is imminent.
Here's only five reasons why:
1. AEcom’s presence at the USACE conference call. Looks like the potential partner is looking for information and intel on the Pebble Project via an engineering firm.
2. Northern Dynasty Minerals hired the “big gun” Adam ”The Closer” Chodos to get the deal done.
3. Tom Collier, the Pebble CEO says “I have a couple of confidentiality agreements that preclude me from making any specific comments about the status of any negotiations – in fact, even preclude me from saying that I am negotiating with someone,”
4. Several hedge funds and institutional investors increased their stake in shares of Northern Dynasty Minerals recently.
5. The insiders accumulate.
Don't believe me? Research, read, analyze and think.
Alternatively browse the recent posts on Yahoo, stocktwits, ceo, stockhouse if you want to find the links to the places and articles mentioning the above.
It may happen when you least expect it. The trading can be halted today and JV or BO news can be released tomorrow. Don’t get caught with y
Dittos. Picked up more shares at 1.63. Almost feel like a traitor...
Dittos. So true. Thanks for being courageous.

Powerful find. Love last paragraph pg3–believe partner/JV in 2020.
Great find!
Northern Dynasty Minerals Ltd.July24, 2020Mike Kozak, (416) 350-81523of 460days, and act as the final catalyst and de-risking event prior to a re-partnership. We also believe the NPRI will succeed in improving public opinion of the project, and provide added “comfort” to potential larger-tier partners that otherwise may not have been willing to take on perceived “reputational risk.” As such, we believe a JV partnership at Pebble will be a 2020 event, likely shortly after theROD and 404 Wetlands permit, though potentially before. A re-partnering event if/when it occurs will bethe single most important de-risking event for NAK and likely the largest positive catalyst for its share price. That said, travel restrictions related to COVID-19 may have impacted potential JV-partners’ability to conduct sufficient on site due-diligence over the last several months, and as such, there is risk to our 2020 re-partnering forecast. In any case, for “catalyst driven” institutional investors, we recommend owning Northern Dynasty shares ahead of a re-partnership announcement, particularly because we believe this to be a near term (2020) event.Exhibit 2. NAVPS BreakdownSource: Cantor FitzgeraldMAINTAINING SPEC. BUY RATING, INCREASING TARGETFollowing the positive Final EIS, we believe a favorable ROD and 404 Wetlands Permit should follow later this quarter, completing the Federal Permitting process at Pebble, and attracting a JV-partner. We are therefore increasing our target multiple to 1.00x NAVPS7.5%from 0.75x NAVPSpreviously, and maintaining our Speculative Buy rating. This drives an increase to our52-week target price from $2.00/C$2.50/shareto $3.50/C$4.50/share. If/when a re-partnershipdoesoccur, which we believe will be a 2020 event, we would expect the stock to trade closer to intrinsic value (1.0x NAVPS) of $3.67/C$4.58/share(in-line with our target price)and potentially significantly higher, depending on the partner, and the terms of the partnership. Following a positiveRODand 404 Wetlands Permitat the Federal level, and should State permitting advance in an objective, apolitical, science-based manner, our target pricehas significant room to the upside.
Check into giving long shares to a 501.c.3. Might be a win/win regarding paying taxes?
Thanks for the analysis. Brightened my day!
Aren't you glad they can't take it into the .30 range?
ROD.
Re-election.
JV/buyout.
All coming.
IMO.

Thanks, LS! reformatted your info.
Impacted Mine Site Streams
Habitat and Fish Use
• Pacific salmon habitat in the direct mine site footprint is considered to have less high quality spawning and rearing habitat characteristics when compared to downstream habitats.
• Streams directly impacted by the mine site tend to have higher gradients, fewer off channel and overwintering habitats, lower proportions of spawning gravels, and less woody debris when compared to downstream habitats.
• The majority of adult fish and spawning observations for all Pacific salmon occurred considerably downstream of waters directly affected by mine facilities.
• Observed densities of juvenile salmon in streams around
the mine site are substantially lower than in downstream reaches, where more favorable habitat conditions are present.
• Resident fish species documented in the mine site area include:

Nice find! Thanks for sharing.
LOL Our fav NAK site ($20...or bust)just had a 2.10 share price, filled. Love it! Time to pile on.... Thumbs up!
Well, I don't know if $20... site owner was the person who bought--but somehow I think it might have been...
No matter what, thumbs up and atta boy!
Thanks. I learned a new term! Appreciate it.
I watched the prices stream during AH. They often jumped .10 downward at a time. Split second trades. On another board it was said that these trades were 10 or 15 shares being sold at a time. That, I could not see. But I did wonder as to share size. If so, it seems as though there are those truly afraid of NAK moving forward. Our country no longer being quite so dependent on hostile countries who export these minerals is very important.
Good point. And who knows what the full remark was... could just as easily been, “no one cares about AK, but we at NAK are trying to change that...”
The news media... well, we know all about mouth pieces of doom and gloom.
If you use the historical market cap all time high that was attained in 2011 it had a $2.2B market cap with 50% ownership of project. Since they own 100% today ($2.2B x 2 = $4.4B) NAK have would have an adjusted market cap based on doubling of the ownership. It would be appropriate to add at least a 50% premium since we are now 9 years closer to the permit. This would add 50% time premium then you get $6.6 billion / 550 million shares (conservative f/d count) to get $12 per share. While this valuation method is based on the NAK all time high traded back in 2011 with some adjustments it doesn’t account for the mineral wealth attributable to each NAK share and is therefore very short sighted.
The second method is superior in that it accurately accounts for the value of all the minerals in the Pebble deposit. If gold is priced at $1800 an ounce then one ends up with 186.06 million GEOs. This is derived by converting the copper, silver, and molybdenum to gold equivalent ounces as follows:
Gold…..71 Million oz at $1800/ oz (We’ll use $1800 for easy math even though spot price is higher.)
Copper…..57 Billion lbs x $2.91/lb = $165.87 Billion value (Today’s spot price is $2.91.)
$165.87 Billion/ $1800 = 92.15 Million Gold Equivalent Ounces (GEOs)
Molybdenum….3.4 Billion lbs x $11.79 = $40.08 Billion value (Today’s spot price is $11.79 per lb.)
$40.08 Billion/ $1800 = 22.27 Million GEOs.
Side Note: The math converting $26,000 per metric ton to pounds is based on the fact that there are 2204 pounds per metric ton. Therefore the math looks like this:
$26,000 / 2204 = $11.79 per lb Molybdenum.

The USACoE release seems rather lack luster. What say you?
News release on twentydollarashareorbust.com. Questions asked after their opening statement have not yet been posted.
Another guess: Environmental reporters probably only get their news from other like-minded environmentalists. If this was the case, based on "10 most intriguing questions" found on our $20ashare site, the questions and the answers might have been much too much for some to comprehend--especially if the questions and answers were new, detailed information. We'll see.
A person has to be quite knowledgeable to even understand the implications of the questions much less, be able to assess the answers.
Again, just a stab at an answer.
18,941,836 shares. $1.95. So far.
The $20 site will have a lot to share soon, I am sure. Have you checked out his questions? Very impressive. I thought about things I had not thought of before, just reading the top 10 most intriguing questions. So grateful for this board.
Hopefully you've been able to pick up shares these last few months in order to average down. Even if you haven't, we all believe this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I am guessing he's adding his losses to his current share price. He needs $16,000 to break even with all his NAK investments. Just a guess.
The Media only conference call scheduled for 2:15pm Central Time / 11:15am Alaska Time on Monday July 20, 2020 will offer a status update and opportunity to understand the, “…path forward for the Pebble Project Environmental Impact Statement,” and learn, “applicable regulatory authorities, processes and milestones.”

Impressive. Thanks for the update! Go NAK and Go Longs!
For such a time as this....

Thanks. I found a link. Sorry about that.

The bottom line is even though potential partners have to pony up (Can you say $20 a share or bust), they will reap an even bigger reward when investors will reward the partners with a comparatively larger increase in their market cap than what will have to be paid out to acquire or partner the world class Pebble Project assets.
Sorry to be such a dummy but I am not understanding the part in bold. Any thoughts or links appreciated.
With or without the FEIS being released before or after anything--expect a huge fight, a fight that will not stop. These are the times we are in. There are those who want our nation and everything within divided. JMO
I am expecting the re-election of this admin to be significant for Pebble.
“The draft of the final EIS shows the tremendous economic opportunity a project like Pebble could mean for the residents of Southwest Alaska”
Tom Collier, Pebble Partnership CEO
Yes, they plan to publish FEIS in the Federal Register on the 24th, but it sounds as though the FEIS might officially be released beforehand. Either way, it's almost here and ready for the next step.
FEIS released on July 21st.
"It is our understanding based on conversations with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) that the final EIS will be published in the Federal Register on July 24th."
"This document will be the backbone of the Record of Decision that will be anticipated 45-60 days later."

Google is our friend. 30 to 60 days after FEIS is what I have found.
Thanks. What great news! A true blessing for Alaska and our nation!
