Thanks my bad for not reading sticky posts, out of practice I guess. I don't seem to have the time or desire to trade on every little price move anymore. I expect I will just sit on this and see where it goes, not much invested, not much to loose, maybe some huge gains in the future.
Hi I have been away from IHUB for a couple years mostly because I have done better with mid caps and have moved away from penny's. I purchased a few shares of TRTC a year ago just to have a little exposure to the MJ business. Noticed it has been moving up lately wondering if anyone here know why?
Boogie I made your post a sticky at least until something better comes along.
No just go ahead without me I will stay up here and enjoy the never ending winter of 14.
Nice green start hope it continues
I sure would like to see some action. I took some nice profits during the gulf oil disaster but unfortunately put too much faith in Charlie. I bought back in on the way down and have a good portion of my gains invested in MOPN stock. A nickle/share would sound pretty good to me LOL. MOPN was one of my early ventures into the seedy world of pennies I think I have learned some hard lessons since then. GLTYA we all have different entry points and goals so it could be a bumpy road back to .30
Mop should be easy to market to repair shops, trucking companys, and marinas to name a few. I have used mop and it works! All that is needed is an aggressive marketing strategy. Once business find out how well it works it will sell itself. It is really amazing to watch mop absorb a oil sheen from water. The stuff really works. Did I forget to mention that MOP works?
Does anyone think our products will be used in the Texas spill?
If it hits .035 I will be happy
Thanks a lot it has taken me years to get that tune out of my head.
beep....beep....beep..beep..beep......beep............beep................................beep..........................................................................................
I thought they were using Dewey, Cheatum, and Howe
I for one think that is a great idea.
If I were to venture a guess I would say someone is wanting to acumulate shares at around .015. Price is being manipulated yeaterday it was in the toilett so no one sold.Today paint it to .03 and move the bid to .015 and they are able to shake out a few shares. Don't claim to be an expert (perhaps a drip under pressure) but this is my opinion of what is going on. Not that I really give a rats a$$ , my time is better spent trading real companys Bull mkt comming in my opinion.
I really don't know what to make of it all. Huge spread bid-ask, moderate volume, and it gets painted almost every day.I am tempted to dump a few at the bid near the end of the day just to see if it gets painted, shares are near worthless anyway may as well have a little fun with it LOL
I am sure Wayne is exploring all options including mergers and my bet is on Wayne looking out for #1.
Think I may know why eihc popped, they just went thu a reverse split. Not sure if that has any direct effect on mop. Maybe that is how wayne will get us back to .30 10-1 reverse split and we are there LOL.
POS is giving them too much credit
wtf someone is paying the ask, they must know something we don't
Although my suggestion was somewhat toung in cheek I really think there is a potential for direct consumer sales. A little research shows that to do a direct marketing tv campain would cost between 1 and 2 hundred thousand and is likely out of reach for MOP, I think one or two good road salesmen could generate a lot of sales. A good share of New England is less than a 2 hour drive from Bath NH. I would start by approaching every harbor master from from Portland ME to NY city. Give out free samples of products, do demonstrations, show off the BP endorsement from years ago, and buy lunch for all of the rite people. Then move inland and hit every auto parts store and quick lube place in the phone book. Never gona happen but it is a fun thought.
I wonder if a group of share holders put up some money in exchange for some more worthless shares if WDK could be convinced to use that money to do some direct marketing to consumers?
We have a product that works with a catchy name, I could see a big mouth guy hawking it on TV. Anyone that ever changes the oil in their lawnmower is a potential buyer. Sell it in 5 pound bags for just $19.99, but if you hurry we will include a second bag free plus if you call in the next five min. we will include a emergency spill kit for your car and a bottle of male enhancement pills.
A similar article apeared in our local rag the Caledonian Record. This article made it very clear that the mill is back on the market for 2 million. I did not post a link because you must pay for a online subscription in order to view it. I guess the owner will honor the original agreement as long as MOP comes up with the cash first.still a pie in the sky as far as I am concerned. Wayne forget about becoming the mayor of Groveton and sell some product.
Anyone know what is driving the recent trading activity?
Since Groveton is near the headwaters of the river how about
UP THE CREEK GREEN INDUSTRY CENTER
Of course good ideas will never happen without coperation from the people who have controling interest. I say to them you have a good product but that is all you have. Sell a good portion of your stock and loan the proceeds back to the company in the form of a unsecured low interest loan. Allow the share holders to elect a board of directors and allow the board to hire a CEO. Perhaps the company will flourish and your remaining shares will be worth millions. Or perhaps mop will go broke and your shares will be worth less than they are worth now if that is possible.
As for me I just want to go to the share holder meeting and have a big plate of them gravy fries at the P&H. They are great if your colesterol is dangerously low.
There are some good old boys up here in the north country that have 1,500,000 in there back pocket. I just never heard Wayne Kings name mentioned as being in that club. Given that he is out begging for money and cant pay his taxes I don't think he is a member.
Money Raising Idea For Wayne! Sell stock not new shares.Sell shares allready in existance.Sell enough so no one person has control. Allow the share holders to elect the board and allow the board to hire the CEO. This would build share holder confidence and the stock would go up in value. Some very qualified people would be on the board. MOP would prosper.I could even talk myself into more shares and would gladly pay .25 or more if I felt I would at least have a vote.Just imagine a share holders meeting and brunch at the P&H. Gravy fries anyone? All my own opinion of course
I have watched these mill closings in the north country for years. They are all the same they close then someone comes along with a plan to save the town, raises a bunch of money, builds false hope, and in a year or two they are gone. Sometimes they are honest well meaning people and they loose all of their own money in the process. Other times they never intended to make a go of it and they take the money and run.
I think this happend about 3 times down the river in Gilman VT. The power dam still churns away but the rest is just not viable.
The town I live in was a one factory town for years, then about 30 years ago a industrial park was opened. We now have dozens of small factories and businesies in the area. The old one factory is still around but in steady decline and will one day close.
Wayne may have good intensions but it is a tough row to hoe. I like the industrial park type aproach but not so sure about the whole green thing. Just think solindra.
If the price does not drop too much more I am cashing in and using the money to take the wife to the P&H Truck Stop for a special treat. I hope she does not want desert LOL
Groveton NH is in a economicly depressed area of the state. In the past few years they have lost the paper mills in Groveton and Berlin, the Ethan Allen plant just across the line in VT is shut down, the Balsams grand resort hotel is under new ownership and closed for at least a year. The logging industry while still viable is seeing lower prices ,even the gun powder factory blew up and is out of business.
For those reasons I am sure there is a lot of grant and low interest loan money available. If Wayne and co. are serious about making things happen then I feel they have a chance. I think Groveton is still served by decent rail transportation, NH rt 3 is a decent highway, and I feel there is still a good work force in the area ,all though many of the more skilled people like mill wrights welders and machienest have move on with their lives.
On the other hand if they are just looking to create a good job for themselves and draw a good pay check untill the money is gone we are doomed to fail one only needs to look at the LLEG biomass energy plant planned for the old Berlin mill site for inspiration. I flipped that one a few times and was able to get out in time Not sure I will be as lucky with MOP
you are right all of this could have been tried in the GOM but the EPA refused to allow the use of loose sorbants and BP did not want the oil reclaimed because they were going to be fined on a per gallon spilled basis. better to use dispersants then the real number of gallons remains a unknown.
buy mop you will never have to worry about the price becoming inflated in my opinion.
Maybe Mop raising money for the employee Christmass party LOL.
At least we are getting some respectable volume here
We are saved someone just bought $20.00 worth and the PPS doubled LOL.
If the VT Dept of environmental conservation knew how well MOP worked I bet they would require it for the state highway dept shops and vehicles. But of course you are right why wast your time trying to sell a few thousand dollars worth loacally when you can potentially sell millions around the world LOL.
The stuff around the storm drain looks speedy dry to me. The mop I have in my garage is not brown. I really think Beck and I, and the people working for mop are the only ones in NH and VT that know about Mop.
Just like clock work stock price down investor confidence down we get a little fluff from the company. Nice to have a little update but I think I will hold off on ordering my new Corvette.
I hope not but it is still the one I am planning on. prepare for the worst hope for the best.
You can bet that Wayne and the other majority share holders know a lot more than they are telling. Could be something big in the works and they want to buy up all of the shares they can before it is released. Could be something big that they cannot disclose because of a agreement with a large investor. Or perhaps my personal favorite we are flat a&& broke and they are trying to get out with as much money as possible.
