To all fellow dbrm'ers out there a very merry Christmas & a prosperous new yr
The Fox 52
Yeah, well you know $40 oil will do that
I would say that the ogood news is that JW is keeping the lights on
T Boone says oil is going up through this yr.

Anyone talked w/ JW laytely?
It looks like ole JW is in a tight spot. W/ expensive credit terms & a low market price for the crude that he pumps
He has apparently no plans to enhance the pps.
It would be good for JW to court market makers...............but he doesnt have a good story to sell the MMs.
If he did, he would have to keep pps w/ no apparent near term & long term plan in place.
Anyone out there talked w/ JW lately?
Mav,
An old proverb:
Never ask money spent......where the spender went?
DBRM's high water mark was $3.15
JJ,
I have been saying exactly the same theory for yrs.
Good luck Mav.
Do come back for a visit anytime. I am stuck here w/ an avg buy in price @ 85 cents.
DBRM was a shell acquired back around 2005. dbrm was originally a mining company that drilled for uranium b4 that. The original dbrm was HQ'd in Spokane @ the time.
When I got into this dog there were approx 16m shares. Eric Moe was the new dbrm CEO. They were drilling for oil & gas in some fields in NW Louisiana & hit some nat gas pockets. This was in the same time frame that Katrina hit Louisiana & nat gas was $11.
dbrm got to $3 & change. But my dumb ass did not want to sell because of earned income gains vs capital gains. Eric Moe et. al juiced the share count to 48m or so.
On Mav's comment on rumors.....I heard some of the same rumors when they got into Kern. Word was the 3d indicated that there was anywhere btwn 30m to 50m bbls.....so 60 wells fits the Kern rumor
JW has an accounting background in the O&G bidness & came in when Eric Moe went out. JW came in when dbrm was late on filing the required financial docs & got nasty grams from governing bodies.
JW did get dbrm out of the pks & now into an ob but the pps has really sucked.
I understand that the original dbrm people have lg positions & are probably playing their positions & warrants & whatever options.
The corp is still Spokane for whatever reason.
DBRM mascot:
Yeah I was wondering where alsobirdman has been. He was the one poster that was always defending Saint JW..........but we haven't heard from him/her since oil dropped to $50
I always figured alsobirdman was/is Eddie C.
Anyone out there that has called Eddie C lately?
There was a PR that stated the cost to produce on a per bl basis in the Kern fields.
Call Eddie C @ 815.942.2581, he should be able to address your Qs
Yeah,
$46 per bbl oil will do that
I spoke w/ JW today.
He said that they are "continuing operations" in both Ca & Ky.
There is a 10Q due within weeks that will be accompanied w/ a press release on the dbrm operations.
There was no hint of a "sunset" as Mav seemed to be inferring.
His position on market conditions is that this is a cycle that he & other experienced oil professionals have been thru b4.
Should make the forthcoming data interesting.
I agree. A PR would be appropriate given the market conditions.
Happy Holidays to all.
Mav,
I am w/ you all the way on all of your points.
I think the biggest "what if" is: can App continue its operations @ $60 oil. If not, JW can be in a strong negotiating position on ownership of the leases.
I know I have brought this up b4, but there must be some doubts in the minds @ Maximilian of App being capable of fulfilling the terms of the agreement.
My logic: If not, why such a harsh penalty? 75% seems awfully strong, IMO.
Happy Holidays to all
Mav,
You bring up a salient point of interest.
re; the possibility that App may default on the terms of their requirements in the Ky fields which would mean dbrm would acquire App's 75% as per the terms of their contract w/Max & dbrm.
As Judy Tenuta would say: "it could happen"
Hey Mav,
Does that Glide Kendall prospect come close to the Monterey Shale? I have compared maps of the Monterey & it does come close to dbrm's acreage map.
I asked JW approx 2yrs ago in a ph conversation & he said non of the acreage under lease is within striking distance of the Monterey Shale & he downplayed the notion.
Now JW would not be the 1st CEO to downplay/manage a shareholder's expectations. Do you have any insight or opinion?
Jim Cramer's opinon:
Mav,
I am going to rebut your analysis on $App.
You stated;
yesterday's volume was 9K shares traded & today was zero
I wouldnt call that dumping & running
Mav,
I give up. California; what?... where?...... how much?.... when?
When they originally started drilling in Ky., they were talking about 50 drill sights
Give Eddie C. a call @ 815.942.2581. He is investor relations contact.
I spoke w/ him approx 10 days ago. His story is that "someone" is "leaning" on the stock...which I guess it means someone or some entity is shorting dbrm. & that the rig in Ky. has not been released back to dbrm for its new drill sights
However, that does not explain why there is any news that cant be released. As you can see the last news we received was a 10k, which they are obligated to report.
The old saying in bidness is that a company can value 3 entities within its enterprise, its customers or its employees or its stockholders.
I DK about the employees or the customers ........but there really seems to be no effort to support the pps/shareholders interest.
of course IMO
Come on Clever, take a look @ the dbrm web site. All of the Officers & Directors have a combined experience in oil & gas bidness that exceeds 100 yrs.
Do you really think that these people w/ all of their expertise dont know how to court MMs? & get a true value of the pps?
As I have said b4, the pps for dbrm should be $3-$4. Do a calculation on 1yr forward basis........22 wells (per dbrm's Mgmt stated drill schedule) in Ky. & then add in the 20 producing wells in Ca.
Also look @ the Monterey Shale formation. It does extend into Kern County.
Does anybody here have any insight on the Monterey shale formation in Kern County & dbrm east slope proj?
Approx 1 1/2 yrs ago I asked JW about it & he down played it. Maybe he was managing a shareholder's expectations? I just dont see anything big on production in those wells (27 bbl per day per well) in Ca.
No mention, good or otherwise, of App in the latest PR.
I would hope the drill rig they cut loose as referenced in the May 16th PR should be back on one of our new well drill sites.
I am beginning to believe there is some credence to cleverrox's 4054 post.....that App is not living up to their end of the agreement as the Operator of the wells.
That could be good news in the "big picture" of this Lawrence County (et al) enterprise.
of course imho
This is how other independent oil & gas exploration companies court MMs

copy & paste into address line if a double click doesn't get you there
I do think we are due for some news
[quoteThe Gerald Grove H-10 oil well is scheduled to be hydraulically fractured the week of May 19, 2014]
j,
I think what we have is a group of day traders that got in @ .16, when the 1st GB letter was published. There was a lot of xactions during those few days.
Those that got in @ .16 have hit a double & after the pps has flattened they are cashing in on a double.
A well managed company should be able to manage the MMs
A well managed company should be able to manage the MMs
"And Mavy, why don't you get a couple of your MM friends"
My question is why doesnt Eddie C do exactly what you are asking Mav to do?
I recall, in some way back post, that one of us posters claimed to be Eddie C. If so, I hope somebody, somehow gets the msg.
Mav,
What do I know?
Well I got into this dbrm w/ some pretty good dips back in 05 about the time of Katrina, when they were pumping nat gas in La.
That was the previous mgmt. which were some buy a shell, pump & dump it guys. Those guys did court MMs & dbrm did go up to $3+ pps within 11 months....but I didnt sell
Then I went in for a bigger dip in early 08 when they obtained the 3D in Ca. I was told that the dbrm field geologist estimated 30m bbls of reserves on the 3D & Chevron (then) dbrm's partner estimated 50m bbls
The new mgmt crew are obviously not the pump & dump cultural type. So my guess is that JW & the crew do not want to be associated w/ any type of pump & dump connotation.
But I say wake up & smell the coffee & get over any fear of the huckster connotation..........this is a great & legitimate story to sell to the MMs as I have previously posted.
There is no reason whatsoever that dbrm should not be @ $3-$4 pps today
As things stand today, my hope is that the boyz @ Maximilian can take the lead on promoting this grossly undervalued stock
Yeah Mav it sux,
Well financed, independent O&G exploration drilling & popping wells that pump 26o bbl daily w/ 25 producing + 4 to be frac'd w/ 3D on 32k acres in a prolific producing fields in the Bakersfield area.
& we cant even see a $1 pps?
Beam me up Scotty.... there seems to be no one in this company that can think beyond chinnzey ass stock promotions letters as the GB & the like.
Give Eddie C a call 815.942.2581
Roadshows should be in his department
