These last minute surges are becoming trendy, no? EOM
A84, I think we both expect to make money in HLNT. I wanted to give you the feedback you requested. The post to which I am replying is a vast improvement but, I cannot give you a passing grade; I'm not an English teacher. "Good day, Sir."
That was poorly written. I am optimistic about this stock and hope you are right.
Which may have been at a discount after the company went to that reverse merger conference and found some PIPE...I'm hoping it is something like that and I'm rewarded for holding a few of the remaining O/S not owned by the buyer. Am I willing to bet any good money on it? No...but, thankfully I don't need to.
I don't understand your logic. You take ridiculous lawsuit posts from other message boards and use them as evidence that this is a scam. You also use PRs that don't disclose all the information as evidence of a scam. You won't be satisfied until someone puts a penny in your hand. By the time that happens, they'll be asking you to put a penny in theirs.
However, I am worried that there is a clause that dictates an upcoming reverse split. This is unfounded, but I worry.
Joey, that is from September of 2009. Simply call the transfer agent for yourself. No need to continue posting if you have the information you need. Further, in my simple mind, the dilution doesn't benefit us. But, I have come to accept it and continue to hold.
Horsesh
I have called the TA several times and have gotten the same numbers. You can choose to ignore his good faith effort to share with you the actual A/S, O/S. The worst case scenario for you is that you remain clueless or you accept the 1.4B from the Sep 2009 disclosure.
SPELLING ERRORS CONSISTENT WITH SOME OF THRESHER'S PR :)
What lawsuit? Do tell...
Because I believe due diligence includes looking at the pinksheets information re: a stock and noting that it doesn't report to the SEC.
These two recent posts are not compatible:
Check that out. Pink sheets do not have to file with SEC. However, there are unofficial/unaudited documents there.
AND
I have done my due diligence.
If you look at the pinksheets site you'll see that THRR doesn't report to the SEC. Also, it means that no potential buyout companies have informed the SEC of any actions with respect to thresher.
I would hardly call what you would be holding a bag. It's more like a change purse. That being said, you are asking the right questions and searching for information. Nobody on this board has the answer- sorry.
VARIOUS EXPLANATIONS
Below is yet another link that adds to my belief that, overall, metal matrix use and production is an area that will explode.
That is separate from the buyout issue. I think the theories re: white knights, reverse mergers, PIPE gone bad, and even scam have their merits.
The lack of objective information is concerning but, we are all in this to make money. Were it guaranteed to make me 0.01 per share on 10 April it would probably be available to me for ~0.01 right now.
Getting emotional and insulting other posters who are trying to reason this out is counterproductive. I like the spirit of the board today and am interested to see if this tone continues until the buyout issue is settled.

This is all for education and hypotheticals as I try to figure out what's going on. (basically to continue the discussion with woody)
Perhaps they were there for the "investment banking firms, PIPE investors and individual investors" alone and not a reverse merger scenario- I agree that it would seem unlikely given the company's promising technology (less likely that this would simply be a shell, plus they don't even report to the SEC so the hassle of filing with them would still be there for the private company potentially using THRR.
Thanks for the unsolicited advice. Your inability to answer my question has been noted.
I understand what reverse _____ I'm talking about and it is often associated with the other reverse _____. I want this to work out but, I don't want to fool myself.
I don't know if a reverse merger is a good thing for the smaller investor, especially one who got in thinking the penny was guaranteed. I got in hoping it would go up a little and I'm not sure when to get out...I hope I'm not being blinded by greed and convincing myself that their technology is the next big thing.
Please explain this: http://www.thebusinessjournal.com/manufacturing/676-hanford-manufacturer-represented-at-conference
in the context of the current developments.
Confirmed in letter to investors.
Which was renamed Thresher Composites Group after they had some legal issues with Robin Carden who, I think, lost the rights to Talbor, but kept the Talon name.

I think they would still own the shares, they would just be common shares rather than preferred. It's too complicated for me. I'll be in down to 0.0000 but I'm hoping for 0.01.
The company that already knew that preferred stock were going to be transferred to outstanding shares and was willing to pay for them.
SINCE 0.0006 Not a basher. I just bought even more. The TA confirmed increased shares O/S and A/S but I think (maybe hope is a better word?) it is conversion of preferred.
A/S O/S and POST AT TOP
I think it is interesting. However, they are no longer associated with Talon. I don't know who took control of proprietary materials. I think that they have something. I don't know what. I confirmed the increased A/S and O/S. But, he said he wasn't allowed to say if this was a conversion of preferred stock to O/S. I suspect it is. But, who knows?
Good looking and worth >0.01 per share.
QUIDRUN- I've been spending way too much time looking at this stock. I verified the O/S with the TA. I got intrigued by the Cal Poly research and found the site where they were bragging about their vector thrust and throttle aerospike. This is truly revolutionary propulsion that is wonderful in theory but has been limited by weight and cooling issues. If it is made possible with their ceramic-aluminum combo, then it would be worth it.
I called Cal Poly and asked them if the material involved was proprietary or available to everyone. He told me he couldn't share that info...couldn't even answer that basic questions which wasn't directly referencing THRR. But, he promised to talk to me about it in 1 month. Maybe I'll call him in a month, but I doubt it. Perhaps there is a pretty strict gag order on this one. The timing makes sense.
In the end, I am happy to have invested money that I feel safe losing. If I had invested more I would be worried more. Good luck!
It is ridiculous. Oh well.
Me. Personally. Twice. Both times, same result. 9.6B.
i got it twice too. Johnny9132 on yahoo confirmed again this AM after we argued about it. It is 9.6B. Stop with the conjecture. Verify for yourself and that will be all you need.
Quid, these posts are unnecessary for those who call the transfer agent rather than "read the charts." Maybe he should read the PRs for us and tell us whether the buyout will occur.
Same. Olde Monmouth gave same amount (to the single digits). And I am a huge fan of this stock. I would much rather have an O/S of 1.4 vs. 9.6!
Perhaps you could read that as ALL of the share outstanding will be sold for the sum total of 1 penny. But the next sentence calls it a significant premium. Who knows what the truth is? If we all knew, the price would already be 1 penny.
Ha! I agree.
VALUE IN PROPRIETARY MATERIAL AND MFG, NOT COMPANY
New material does well.
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Thresher-Industries-Newest-prnews-2552074374.html?x=0&.v=1
I think it has to do with this.
http://me.calpoly.edu/cpr/research/14/
(I have a sneaking suspicion that the folks mentioned on this site will be willing to talk to you about the material used in this project next month. Why? I don't think they will tell you, either._
I think it is valuable because of this. A new industrial focus on space travel (not to mention increased efficiencies in aviation and automobiles) now that the shuttle program is being closed makes lightweight, heat-resistant materials like Thresher's quite desirable.

Just a guess.
AEROSPIKE NOZZLE THAT HAS VECTOR THRUST AND THROTTLE CAPABILITIES
You can make the technology work with their material/manufacturing.
I don't think it is speculative to say that a company planning a 96 million dollar buyout is big. My question is when does this company have to file their intent with the SEC. I know THRR doesn't report to the SEC, but the buyer should, no?
You are wrong. I did call them this AM. They confirmed the 9.6 Billion.
