One word: Intense! LOL
Don't try and post a new message while in another message - go to the main XMDC Forum index (where it lists all the messages) and there should be a link to "Post new message". Hope this helps.
Typically the return address on e-mails received from Paul will list that e-mail (bigpaul@charter.net). That's the same address on many of the e-mails I have received as well.
I agree! Last hour of trading resulted in 554,314 bought vs 240 sold. Hopefully we can keep with the steady buys and move back into the 5's...
Possibly ask when he is scheduled to return, then we have a date range... just a thought (unless they would not release this information)
My e-mail/inquiry was not in regards to the date of the merger; sorry for the confusion.
Sent e-mail on 11/2 and no reply either, while all my prior e-mails were answered within a day (24hrs). One can only hope that means he's busy taking care of business...
Lucky You - I wish I had more cash available to buy more now - No matter how much I buy, I can't seem to get enough, LOL
In regards to establishing a baseline, here is Paul's response to one of my questions:
A) If I were to go to my doctor and have not yet had a "baseline" established, would they be able to establish said baseline and detect cellular inflammation in the same day or would I have had to have my baseline established prior to having any possible issues?
The same day. It takes about 2-3 mins to establish your baseline readings and then the actual scan can done in as little as 10-15 mins.
Keep in mind that due to confidentiality agreements and the pending merger there are limitations as to what can be discussed. As of right now the details on "how" may be able to be derived from the patent documents, however, I can not decipher much of what is there.
To further clarify establishing the baseline - these questions were answered directly by Paul, as included below. Hope this helps some.
B) How exactly is the baseline established? Is this through the initial scan of the BioHarp or some other method/screening/tool(s)?
The initial scan is done juts like the regular scan. You start the process by wanding the body all over to establish the cellular makeup of your body. The software then recalculates all the data and then gives the baseline reading. Very simple process.
It may not (and likely won't) be announced today. Even if it's a done deal (as some have speculated) and is likely, based on the information we have, the only firm date we have is 30-60 days from October 1st Press Release. This places an announcement anytime from now until the end of the month. No other factual data has been released/provided to support an announcement being made sooner than this (including today). So hang in there, as in the opinion of many here it is as good as done - however, we must wait for it to be announced before we claim it as such...
In an e-mail response from Paul to me dated 10/29, he indicated "Upon my arrival in Korea...", so at that time he had not yet been in Korea (from the sounds of it) but was definitely planning to as indicated in other announcements.
Does anyone have anything more specific? If nothing else, the only thing we can plan on is the 30-60 day time frame from Oct 1st for merger to be announced/finalized.
I didn't waste too much time reading on many of the reasons behind the accusations but I believe some of what has been said and a source of concern can be answered by reading:

My recommendation: Don't spend too much time over at Yahoo...

More Answers From Paul (Email) - portions that are bold are Paul's responses as he replied in my original e-mail - this has helped clear up some of my confusion, and seems to get better and better with the more information I find and answers I receive:
Hi Paul,
I had a few quick questions regarding some of the details regarding the (impressive) BioHarp, I was hoping you would be able to assist with or direct me to who/where I would be able to find additional information on.
My questions stem from additional details on how the Bioharp works, specifically relative to the baseline reading that must be obtained before doing so.
Taken from a PR, "The BioHarp requires a pre-scan of the patient in order to get a baseline reading. This baseline reading is not based solely on a set of standards in the medical sector. These individualized baselines are established from the patient's own cellular makeup and further solidify how the BioHarp sets itself apart from any present of future competitors."
My questions are:
A) If I were to go to my doctor and have not yet had a "baseline" established, would they be able to establish said baseline and detect cellular inflammation in the same day or would I have had to have my baseline established prior to having any possible issues?

The initial scan is done just like the regular scan. You start the process by wanding the body all over to establish the cellular makeup of your body. The software then recalculates all the data and then gives the baseline reading. Very simple process.
C) By measuring cellular inflammation as a means of early detection, how much sooner can one detect possible issues? On average, how long would it be before this inflammation was to manifest itself in ways that other more traditional tools would detect?
I really can’t comment on this one at this point. Our confidentiality agreement prohibits me from this. More information after the merger closes.
One would have to imagine the results have been good thus far, especially with intentions of placing the information on their website for everyone to view.
Discussion of the new sensor recently developed also begs the question of how this has impacted the effectiveness of the device - results were already great - but seems to have possibly gotten even better! :o)
The next couple of weeks are going to be exciting, to say the least.

Paul comments on human testing...
I've sent a number of e-mails, however, here is a response to the following question - I will continue to post replies as received:
Hi Paul,
After reading through many documents including those of the patent filing, I see there are tests that were conducted on mice that supported very impressive success rates in regards to detection while providing no false positives. My question lies in concerns that have been brought up regarding the lack of information published relative to human testing. Do you have any comments in regards to this topic? Has there been tests conducted on humans and if so, were there similar results achieved? Are there plans in the near future to make this information more readily available?
Hey XXXXX:
Yes, there have been human trials on the device. Upon my arrival in Korea, we will be amassing all the information regarding the testing that has been done over the past 10 years and will compile them into a very easy to read report that I will place on the website.
As soon as I can, I will make all this information available to all of our shareholders and to the medical community.
All the best,
Paul D. Lisenby
CEO – XTend Medical
There have been very few sells today - I think people realize this is the last chance to get in at this price and are grabbing whatever shares they can; while those who have shares don't want to give any up... (reference the prior posts regarding XMDC share holders rather losing limbs than giving up shares... LOL)
It's dangerous...
Thanks for the info - I think I'm starting to understand a bit more, but am still left with some of my original questions.
I have sent a few e-mails off to the company and will follow-up once replies have been received. Thanks for your response Rain!
In the meantime, let's finish green today! I hope everyone had an opportunity to get in at these prices - they won't be here long! :o)
Questions....

This caused me to think of a few questions and figured I would ask to find if others are more familiar with these topics:
A) If I were to go to my doctor and have not yet had a "baseline" established, would they be able to establish said baseline and detect cellular inflammation in the same day or would I have had to have my baseline established prior to having any possible issues?
B) How exactly is the baseline established? Is this through the use of the BioHarp or some other method/screening/tool(s)?
C) By measuring cellular inflammation as a means of early detection, how much sooner can one detect possible issues? How long (for example, with Cancer) would it be before this inflammation was to manifest itself in ways that other more traditional tools would detect?
I am still in XMDC for the long term, and see tremendous global potential with the BioHarp - still want to discuss BioHarp more with others who may be more knowledgeable on these topics.

LOL... Luckily I don't work today.
Here's a newbie question:
I've heard a lot of figures thrown around with what we would all love to see this stock hit ($1's+) which many sound very justified when considering the prospective market for which this device could be used and potential global sales. I know this is a difficult question - so it's more asking your opinion(s), but to the more experienced folks here - what are your goals (realistically) for this stock by end of year (so next month or two) and then in the next year?
*This assuming in this time the merger is completed by years end (which from prior PR's looks like it should be), we see Korean Exchange listing, necessary approvals, further support on the successful results we've read about and then contracts/sales, etc.
Thanks for any insight - and much appreciation to all those who spend countless hours researching and posting so much incredible information regarding Bioharp/XMDC - It's really made this experience so much fun (I'm constantly refreshing this forum and there's always a new message!)
Hey Everyone - Been lurking here for awhile and figured I'd actually post and say Hi. I just got into stocks so am learning as I go; this is actually my first "major" holding (I'm sure this wouldn't be major to most..) - I don't have much money right now but come Thursday will be holding 100k shares of XMDC.
Being my first post, I figure it would be appropriate to thank everyone for posting so much great information and making this an exciting pick; a special thanks to Rainmaker for all of the DD and time he has spent compiling and posting this information for us.
I look forward to spending more time with you guys and wish everyone Good Luck (not that I think we'll need it) with this pick! :o)
