SIAF: Bad advice? maybe so. Great potential? I believe it has. Good internal management? Yes I believe the management is solid. I believe Lee Solomon is an excellent CEO, knows his company and the business model inside and out, and speaks very good English. Great products? Yes I think their product offerings are solid and high margin. So if the only thing keeping the stock cheap are wall street shenanagans and bad advice, and the company is solid and has a good business model, then I can live with that, and will continue to hold while the stock games are being played.
SIAF:
Or it's too cheap to dump now? Book value is around $1.23 last I knew. That was according to their last CC.
SIAF: I added at $1.09 today. I like cows :D
EIGH closed up 8.88%...
Must be a good omen :)
CCME: Yet another day of "As the sellers churn...". Still hanging with it though as I believe the payoff will be worth it, but I will definitely think twice on overweighing a stock around a warrant conversion. bleh
LPIH: I've read this blog and the author also has provided comments to what others had to say (see comments section). All I can say is I truly find it hard to believe a yayhoo like this can cause this much disruption to a well-respected stock. Strictly going by his writing style, I doubt the guy even has a GED. Oh well, if this was the catalyst to the stock's drop today all I can say is Wheeeeeee! since I bought in at $2.09. For a laugh, check out what he says about Redchip in one of the comments.
Oh you know they are! MM's are traders just like us. Lots of Internet-savvy young Turks running neat high tech trading desks and are fully wired to what's going on. They know that these lockdowns will be losing money for them, they know they are being played, and they are going to do their best to keep the shakdowns going and will hold off "shortmageddon" as long as they can. They have 1000's of other stocks that are in their full control where they make a mint every trading day, and puny EIGH and the other locks are really just little mosquito bites on their arses.
I agree wholeheartedly! I had CDIV at .07 last year and sold at around .058 because I didn't know this was a team effort at a float lock-down. I thought it was just another "pump and dump" stock and they also had some PIPE investors selling off at the time. Oh well... Anyway I recently revisited the CDIV board and saw Monk's "repeat" email that explained the concept. Once I read that and understood what the heck was going on, I re-bought CDIV and also have many, many shares of EIGH that I have been buying since .06. Consider me as part of the "team" and I will be incrementally adding more as I see fit.
CCME: I tend to think that the recent warrant conversion had more to do with the stock still being at these levels than the market correction. I believe there were a few astute investors that loaded up on these when they were very cheap (like .14c) and are now happily unloading most of the newly issued stock at or near $12. If the price were mainly tied to market correction I would have expected the price to have moved already. Regardless, it will move sooner or later and patient buyers at these levels will get their just reward.
CCME: It's gotta be Fernando selling his tons of warrant conversions for $12 lol.
Seriously though, no-one here should be complaining that they can get as many cheap CCME shares as they want now. Seller doesn't have an infinite amount of shares and when they're gone it's off to the races!
SIAF: You aren't the only one waiting. Personally I like them selling here and holding down the price because this company is for real and anyone selling off now is foolish IMO. I would be accumulating big time here if it wasn't my largest holding already.
CKGT: Grabbed some at $2.31 just because the puck is not in this corner of the rink, but I have a feeling it will be soon :)
XODG: added more here. I just keep remembering that Bill of Lading that Burp dug up a few months back. :)
XODGe: You mean that wasn't your stink bid at .52 yesterday? Now THAT was a gift.
Just their Website alone makes it worth that price. Their luxury ship rocks!
XODGe: Bradforded this today at .83.
NEP: Who wants some NEP!? At $8.00 now!!
Man o man what to choose? So many deals, so little CASH!
LLEN: I copied these quotes directly from the Redchip research report via the link you provided. You make a compelling point and I am not inferring LLEN isn't a good play but I just don't believe this company will achieve the 12 month rose colored forcast that Redchip has predicted. They even said it themselves in their report that the coal washing business is low margin and they expect to beef up the margin by supplying their own coal. I guess I am spoiled and want an investment that will be more shareholder friendly and not have a rash of dilutions financing their business expansions as the be all do all answer. All it takes is one bad acquision deal to screw up a good thing and with Crane at the forefront of this business, well ... I'll leave it at that. I believe NEP or even LPIH is a better investment than LLEN long term but I wouldn't kick LLEN out of bed for eating crackers either. The problem with these Amigos is they are ALL good and it's hard to choose which particular one you think will outperform. It's a good problem to have though ;)
LLEN: The problem I see with this stock is all the planned dilution ...
Bought more LTUS and SIAF today.
Managed to find some free cash under the sofa. SIAF combined with the Sykes factor and the upcoming dividend will be HUGE imo. I also liked how LTUS ran up b4 the bloodbath and added more at $1.35 today. Now I'm stuffed with milk and drugs. Yeah baby! :)
Rato: $81 per share at the time plus $30 commission for a total of $840ish. I was young and newly married at the time so that was a pretty good chunk of money for me back then. I had to drive to a local broker to buy these (no public Internet at that time, no online brokers, etc). The only quotes I could get were from the newspaper and at the broker's office. I even received the stock certificate a week or so later in the mail (beautiful-looking thing, wish they still did this lol). And yes, I know how much they went up percentagewise since then grrrrr! So after blowing that opportunity and seeing how some people are reacting to the near-term fear-mongering and chicken-littling this market, I just laugh, knowing my only problem now is finding more free cash around to put into these little jewels. Now is the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of the next economic powerhouse of the century and I will not let little hiccups in market behavior get in the way like I did back in '87. Not this time lol.
Here is a good reason not to panic and sell out of fear. Back in 1987 I bought 10 shares of a new company that was publicly trading for less than a year. I have seen the company rise fairly decently for a few months and decided to pull the trigger in September. Well as my luck would have it, the market took a big dump in October (crash of 1987) and I sold the 10 shares at a loss of around $100. Having been spooked, I didn't bother to invest in the market for a long time after that. Well, that fairly new company was Microsoft!! Needless to say that was not a good decision on my part. So to you that panic and sell these undervalued gems today, you could be selling the Chinese version of Microsoft in a heat of panic now and you don't even realize you have it! All I say is that if you believe in the company who's shares you are holding in your portfolio now, then there is no reason to panic and sell out of fear of what the market is doing at this moment in time, otherwise you will definitely regret it as I have with Microsoft.
SIAF: Well you didn't get any of mine! Whenever I have a hard time falling asleep I just listen to their latest CC on my iPhone and I sleep like a baby dreaming of milk laden cows jumping over the fish pods filled with money lol.
GFRE: Firesale price! Out of all of the Amigo's on sale this week this one seems to me to be the best bang for the buck. They are all good deals now but GFRE seems to stand out as the best one.
CCME: Fixed first link from Fernando's post.

Excellent article. Here is an excerpt from it. Check out bold type. Interesting take on who is really benefitting from the Iraq war lol.
A fitting choice indeed! The best IHub board just raised the bar again! Also great to know tothe isn't going anywhere! I was worried there for a while. He would have been sorely missed, that's for sure. All you mods are fine "amigo's".
Dress them up good! I went with my son to Maggie Valley NC last weekend and he had a lesson. Born and raised in Florida, he has never seen snow, so needless to say it was a huge culture shock for him. lol
XING: Bought a good amount at $2.55 today.
Great DD on that one Fernando! :)
Heck I paid iHub even though this board was free at the time JUST for this board to show my appreciation for all the great DD being done here. It's a goldmine worth the price of a measley 1/10oz of gold lol
Cool! Glad I subscribed end of last year b4 the price increase! I'm in at least for a year.
SIAF: I bought a bunch of shares at $1.23 today and feel quite lucky to have still gotten in in the $1.20's. I had some at .90 and sold at $1.25 last month but I just couldn't resist and re-established my position. This time it's for the long haul.
Did you know this company has over 500 employees? Not to mention the "master licenses" nod from the Chinese government for some great food processes! This one isn't going anywhere but to the moon imo! Amazing growth potential from a "pseudo" pink sheet stock. Plus the potential dividend payout will just be icing on the cake. What am I missing here? lol
Here is a partial excerpt from their latest press release:
SIAF is owner of a patented process; the conversion of corn stalk into high quality feed for livestock and is the “Master Licensee” for China with exclusive right to a patented Bacterial used in converting food based agriculture produce wastes into nutritional feed products that are also applicable in the manufacturing of Bio-Organic fertilizer. The Company also holds the “Master License” for China on a modern re-circulating Aquaculture Technology “A Power RAS Technology” that has the capacity to commercially grow quality table fish and seafood free from chemical and pollution in enclosed modules on land in a system designed to promote economic sustainability and viability. Currently the Company has total employment of 520 persons of which 60 are skilled and experienced management staff.
I LOVE the way LPIH held up today..
and only went down a few cents after it's recent nice runup. I added to my position at the close.
It was between lpih and nep. It was a tough choice for me as they are both excellent co's.
CKGT: It's 'smokin'!
Wow, miracles really do come true! I am now a true believer in the power of the burning CACTUS! lol
Cactus ciggys lol. I just can't believe anyone would really want to smoke this stuff. Talk about speculation! I have it (CKGT) and am gonna hold on to it, just because it's close to Christmas and miracles do happen once in a while. Cac-TIE roas ting on an open fire .... ;)
Must be something in that alphalfa.
or the Elk droppings ;)
CHP: So are you saying that..
a finance company (CHFI) and a tech company (XNYH) are more speculative than a cactus cigarette making company (CKGT)? I have positions in all 3. FWIW I think all these companies are "speculative" as they originate from a communist nation. But what do I know? I am just trying to balance my portfolio to include some foreign stocks.
About The List ...
I think the dog of today will be the doll of next year. I don't think the eventual winner is on the list at all. CHFI and XNYH are 2 that come to mind. Of course I'm biased as I have strong positions in both of them lol
I hear you brother. I started by doing the same thing
you did last year but have since paired down my picks to a select half dozen or so. My problem is I got in these little micros about 3-4 weeks ago, didn't pick good entry points, and most every dang stock I picked nosedived as soon as I got them. I missed the big bull runs and I have been chasing the small calves. But I know it will come around again and next time I will be smarter and ready. I'll be happy just making enough money to resubscribe to ihub for a year. ;)
LPIH: From what I understand
from reading this forum, Crane shouldn't really be the person to listen to.
Hopefully they will have a good CC. I do believe I got in at a good entry point for THAT stock!
Finally! :D
CHFI - You're welcome :)
Someday I will be in on the right side of a trade .. I was in at .60 a few weeks ago and it has been downhill ever since. I have to learn to be more patient with my entry points. Novice day trader wannabee here. Nice entry point burp. Hope it will bounce up REAL GOOD for you.
That was staged but funny nonetheless lol
Personally I prefer the beerdress babes :D
