Ima.
What law is that?
Whizz. That's clears up a few points.
But I would guess a lot depends on the wording of IDCC's motion to stay.
i.e.,
"Kindly stay our previous motion to investigate whether Nokia has infringed our patents."
or,
"The circuit court has ordered us to file a motion to Stay the ITC investigation of Nokia. The judge gave no reason for issuing this order, and we have filed an emergency appeal of this decision to the Second Circuit."
Mschere. I agree.
Federal agencies are not white knights in shining armor.
If you file an action, they proceed to some conclusion.
If you terminate that action, they don't ask "Did you really mean that? Can't we pick up your sword and slay the dastardly villain?"
O'Dog.
Damn!
I don't know how you do it.
"French law and case law is very protective of trademark holders and creators of protectable works, permitting broad protection of the holder or the creator's rights, including for example by the non-recognition of 'implied license' theory,"
Loop.
Or, you could just nuke 'em.
Bob.
Good man.
The link had about 20 other ones.

Charlie.
I just sent you the link.
Charlie.
Try Food Network.com.
Alton Brown fixed Welch Rarebit two days ago.
Click on recipes, then welch rarebit, and it will come up, probably along with others.
Loop.
In a better world, Nokia wouldn't be allowed in the door.
Is it any wonder they can't crack the North American market?
Revlis.
It's not the circuit judge that bothers me.
It's that her name is "Batts", and she doesn't understand FDD/TDD.
Thank God for the ITC (I think).
Oh swell.
The judge may not understand the case.
Why do we always get the pick of the litter?
GAB.
Wasn't that the day you took your wife to Arby's for her birthday?
Loop.
Ima's a little confused at the moment.
No one will tell him how to protect his "excessive" investment in IDCC, so he's taking it out on me.
He's got more money than Warren Buffet, but he didn't like TC's comment about the stock dropping $10-$15 if we don't get the right news.
Yes. I recall that too.
Well. MTS is our legal representative, right?
After all, he's a lot closer than you and I are.
Were you speaking to me, fella?
Whaddayoumean "It doesn't look good at this time."
Tell 'em your wife is having a baby, or something like that.
We can't have litigation without representation!
Hey there Profits!
I slimmed down a little since the old days, but I'm about ready to jump in for the legal fireworks.
Hang in there.
Ole' Hank Paulson has a way with words:
"The U.S. economy is in a sharp down climb."
Jim.
I'm here, on and off, every day.
Hope all is going well.
Hey Dan, same to you and yours.
Howdy, Mare.
Mr. Lurker.
I couldn't fail to not agree with you more, or less.
Mschere.
It certainly sounds like good news. But I have yet to see anyone correctly foretell the outcome of anything between IDCC and Sammy or Nokia.
Mschere.
Janet doesn't usually add such "emphasis" to anything she says.
"We won an arbitration award with Samsung for $134 million. We haven't collected on that.
We are actually working to enforce that,
but we've been actually making quite a bit of progress."
Mschere.
I was fascinated by the similarity of the PR's, without mentioning what happened to poor little Ms. Lam.
Yeah. Whatever happened to "her"?
Is anyone really at home at QCOM?

Charlie.
I am 105% in agreement with your post, even though you're retired.
Yeah.
I'm sure Merritt feels bad about this.
And it must have pained him to sell at $32 when the stock is now $22, when the DOW is up 100, and the NAZ is up 32.
Charlie.
But why don't I see the red clown nose in my Blacks Law Dictionary?
Charlie.
Not a great post.
It was an insult to all clowns with red noses.
DD.
Any impact is the question.
That's why I checked Cramer's website and found the June 5th article, which said the same thing as Frobinso's link.
If it's fresh stuff, I think it should help the stock today.
Frobinso.
A rare article of support for Cramer's group.
I wish they'd repeat it.
Wasn't that a June 5th story?
Revlis.
OK.
We won't hire them next year.
Charlie.
I'll drink to that. LOL.
Jeeze, Loop.
Anyone can make a mistake.
Sure. This guy temporarily lost 46,000 documents.
But hey. Hilliary lost just as many, and found them two years later right in her own office. And now she's running for president.
Just goes to show that Americans have a forgiving nature.
L2V.
Blond joke. I'll keep it short.
After buying her a new cell phone, her husband decided to see if the phone works.
After dialing, she answers the phone, and her husband tells her it's just a "test" call.
Surprised by this new gadget, the wife says, "This is great honey. But how did you know I was at Walmart?"
Gabby.
Samsung has 111 arbitrations?
I haven't been paying attention.
I thought it was III.
