Whizz. That's clears up a few points.

But I would guess a lot depends on the wording of IDCC's motion to stay.

i.e.,

"Kindly stay our previous motion to investigate whether Nokia has infringed our patents."

or,

"The circuit court has ordered us to file a motion to Stay the ITC investigation of Nokia. The judge gave no reason for issuing this order, and we have filed an emergency appeal of this decision to the Second Circuit."
