NEW YORK, Sept 28 (Reuters) - Qualcomm Inc (QCOM.O: Quote, Profile, Research) on Friday named Donald Rosenberg as its executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, replacing Lou Lupin.

Rosenberg, who once taught courses in intellectual property and antitrust law, joins Qualcomm from Apple Inc (AAPL.O: Quote, Profile, Research), where he served as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary.
