You know......I've been trading for a few years now.....and I've made money, and I've lost money. (I've mostly lost money....but I won't repeat my mistakes)
My Finance instructor a few years ago told me that if I listened to "OPINIONS" and message-board chatter, chances are I will lose at least half the money I invest...and that if I look at numbers only when making a "BUY" decision, chances are I will make some money.
That has turned out to be absolutely true. There is a huge difference between "emotional investors" (who are otherwise known as FAITH-based investors), and then there are the "FACT-based investors", (who look ONLY at the numbers and the things they absolutely KNOW to be true....like FACTS)
Most of you, (and you know who you all are), keep using the term "I believe" far too much for me not to say anything. You believe THIS is going to happen, or you believe THAT is going to happen. You completely have the right to do that.....I just want to caution others who have decided to buy into a stock like I did a few years ago, to not put all of their eggs in one basket just because some guy on a message board has vociferously advocated the success of this stock because it FEELS right or because of his FAITH in its success.
I am tired of the word "OPINION" when it comes to making a decision to buy or sell a certain stock. This is the LAST stock I have bought because I was foolish and stupid enough to listen to the words of some idiots on a message board who believe in the stock ONLY because they are compelled by their blind faith that its share price will sky-rocket soon. (I bought this stock a long time ago)
I WANT to believe the faith based buffoons because I want to make money, but 99% of stocks don't see such glorious days......and that is why I am beginning to have a severe problem with people who keep posting public messages on a forum because they FEEEEEL that the stock is about to hit the ceiling. Because when amateurs like me (7 years ago) read these messages on the message board of the stock, they invest their hard earned money, hoping that what those faith based people have said will come true.....and it almost NEVER does.
