The article I am referencing is amongst the news posts on this Web site for GE. It is from Dow Jones on Friday, March 20 and discusses patent changes which are connected to Glaxo and GE. Let me know if there is any further confusion.
Sorry that's the case. I suggest you give it another try.
Did any of you see Friday's article on this Web site regarding changes to patent rules? What do you think of the proposed limits on lawsuits? Please opine.
Here's a recent article on excesses at Citigroup: http://www.thedeal.com/dealscape/2009/03/a_history_of_expensive_offices.php. I hope you folks find this meaningful.
Here's an article on the purchase of the Westmoreland Glass Company site from the Tribune-Review in greater Pittsburgh last summer: http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/tribunereview/news/westmoreland/s_578239.html. I hope some positive things are progressing there.
I must admit I find your list of proposed slogans amusing. I do think advertising has been a bit much on this product. However, I am sure many wives would disagree wholeheartedly with me and I do not wish to deprive them of pleasure. Here's to Viagra!
Here is a hyperlink to a definition of par value for the uninitiated, such as myself:

I hope this helps others. Take care!
Par value sounds like an intriguing concept. I am going to do some research on it and opine in a bit.
Today's approximately 19 stock price gain is incredible! Are folks getting enthusiastic about investing due to the instability of the economy and the security that identity theft protection might provide? Please opine.
I sincerely hope today's decline is just a short term decline. I would hate to see our economy continue to decline and Citigroup be part of it.
Yes, definitely.
This sounds like a wonderful idea. Is it possible they may wish to invest in at least one Rover, do you think?
The Smart Wet cleaning solution sounds like it is really something. I was impressed to hear the military uses it. I am assuming this is for cleaning uniforms. Is this true? Does anyone have any stats yet on how much they may have saved?
I guess we'll have to see.
Yes indeed.
I understand. My newbie status is showing.
Are these being converted from pounds to dollars? Please clarify.
It appears Mr. Magelby has decided to get off of the Titanic. I hope the Legg Mason boat is sailing well.
Based on what I just read about the suit by the New York Attorney General, I have the feeling we are in deep doo-doo. It remains to be seen how things will turn out. The credibility of the company certainly appears to be at stake.
Well, this certainly sounds like a great product. I think I will retire Goo Gone. Thanks for the info.
The Dow Jones news wire report here today suggests that the company forecasts little to no growth in profit based on declining or modest orders for aircraft engines, energy generation equipment and medical devices. I noticed in particular they commented on ones involved in scanning for medical procedures.
This did not surprise me whatsoever as I do remember hearing that it is expected that less MRIs may be advised by doctors in an article I read in The Columbus Dispatch within the past month. I am hardly finding that shocking as I was finding them relatively common with myself just 2 years ago. The expense is so incredible for them I am not surprised insurance companies would want to be careful about them being prescribed relatively frequently.
Hope to get some replies.
Yes, I believe you now. This substance certainly sounds more versatile than Goo Gone. Perhaps sales will decline markedly.
It will be interesting to see if it does. Based on the photos we have been sent in a reply, I can't say it appears any better than Goo Gone though. The results of an experiment comparing both could be fascinating.
Perhaps I will do just that. I will have to see how much both are. I should go out and do some shopping soon.
I see. The Goo Gone worked great on getting stickum off of books. I just was curious if this product had similar results.
An interesting comment. I have a friend whose wife works for them. I wonder if they will get as heavily involved in research. That is her job and it pays handsomely.
Does anybody think Winning Brands Stain Remover may give Goo Gone considerable competition? I was just reading about Winning Brands Stain Remover from the blurb on this Web site. I worked with Goo Gone regularly while working in an Ohio library. Based on what I read about the Winning Brands item, it certainly sounds more versatile than Goo Gone. What do you folks think?
We were up a little today. Now it is selling for 26 cents a share. I hope enthusiasm grows for the Rover.
If you read a posting on the news board on this Web site from today, it shows that experts think banks will recover from this dilemna better than the dot.coms did. It was a meaningful read.
As a clarification of my earlier comment, the rescinding was of job offers to folks with those visas according to the article.
It was interesting reading the news release on this site regarding the necessary rescinding of jobs from banking institutions from individuals with H-1B visas. I know our country has a reputation as the melting pot. However, I do understand that some limits sometimes have to be set. I just hope those being rejected do not have hard feelings.
I just looked at the statement of changes in beneficial ownership from today. I was trying to discern if this has contributed to the pleasant increase in stock price. Anybody have any theories? Please opine.
If that be so, why do we currently see $7.58 a share?
Somehow this is leaving me feeling like we're on the fast track to banking via socialism. I can't imagine we would still be capitalist in our thinking given the decline in profits with lower tangible capital ratio. Anybody agree?
I see you have had a 20 percent increase in the stock price today. Does anybody want to speculate that this has something to do with the possible reverse merger? Let me know.
I hope this improvement doesn't hit me too hard at the gas pump.
Reading this article is an excerpt in my truth is stranger than fiction file. It is hard to conceive GE falling on such hard times. The kitchen in my home is a virtual paen to the company, with a dishwasher, stove and refrigerator all manufactured by them. I hope the possible drama noted in this article does not come about as they are a giant among companies in the U.S.
I am glad this stock came out well with nearly a 10 percent increase in share price today. However, I think we need to keep hoping for better. There has been such a decline over the past year things really must get better soon.
Somehow I have a feeling Wells Fargo is going to have some company. I hope not too much. Otherwise, investors will feel totally insecure, I fear.
Today has not been a good day for Wells Fargo. I see a little over half the day is through and we are down 17 percent. Does anybody have any theories on why this is happening? I know in general the market is down substantially today. I just hope it rebounds before closing time.
