Cheers
This is my last post on this board.
I will be continually wishing all the best to all shareholders of our beloved LBSR.
May Good fortune hunt you down and devour you, the remainder of your lives.

America needs LBSR...let's go briscoe!

From what I can see, if LBSR get it's claims financed, Gold standard or not, either way we shareholders win.
I feel really badly for folks who worked hard their whole lives, only to now watch their savings eaten away by so much greed and corruption.
What a disgrace these current savings rates are, fixed income folks are bearing the brunt.
We agree on the debt issue. Problem as I see it, folks on average have gotten used to the federal spending allocations. We all were living high on the hog for so long in this country.
This gold standard is like telling paris hilton out of the blue, to give up daddy's credit card and find a real job to support herself.
We are used to being the big global stick, and the power it wields is simply intoxicating. We can't afford the stick. Seems that most folks want the cake and eat it it too?
Smaller goverment, balanced lean budgets, strong beneficial to the citizenry fiscal/monetary policies, and yet continually be the police of the globe?
I fear the political gold standard rhetoric is nothing more than a numbed lip service being arkwardly lobbed about, to pander for votes from certain disenchanted and fed up sections of society.
Bringing back the Gold standard would certainly right our ship, but what politician truly posesses the resolve, and political capital needed, to go against the FED, and cleanse away the decaying capatalistic stealthy chroniesm structure, that is washington D.C and wall street?
FWIW...CHEERS to a much hoped for gold standard from the thinking persons section..bottoms up.
What a curious thing to be considering. I hope they also are considering that would logically mean a severely reduced sized government, to come into line to meet that new mandate. Many tens of billions will have to be chopped off; in order to arrive at an equilibrium of minerals mined v. government budgetary allocations.
That would look like an approx 50-70% smaller sized government IMHO.
Sounds like typical illogical campaign posturing imo.
Thanks for the head's up.
He is also at least lucky enough to not be born in pre modern Japan.
SEE... ~Seppuku~
No worries here. My LBSR core position is already significant.
This additional dry powder is merely the topping on the soon to be golden cake. ~hopefully~
Now do you think we will get a deal struck for Tombstone claims before or after BCSP?
I don't know. I'm leaning towards a double barrel NR. Get one $ completed, hold off on releasing news for a couple weeks or so, while a second deal is consummated.
Now woudn't that be amazing? :)
But no, I really don't know.
"But on the other hand, drilling could take us North of a dime"
King, I sense there is tremendous pent up psychological demand for validation of financing, the market is obviously in a holding pattern, pending news.
I'm very sure in thinking, i'm not the lone long who has dry powder waiting on the sidelines to load the boat on such an event, nevermind the new herd following the rush of the NR.
IMHO, just news alone of financing secured for drilling claims will easily move us beyond .20+ in a matter of a few days.
Not too many plays out have the value proposed by our technical data.
J.B SHOW US THE MONEY.
TICK TOCK
My remaining dry power is sitting firmly on sidelines. I need to see some movement from J.B and company. I'm willing to pay a bit of a premium in exchange for validation of financing.
Alternatively, I won't be against scooping some in the below 0.01 regions if we see; if due to unforseen market gyrations/changing investor psychology etc near term.
Honestly, i'm on the fence. Bearing on one hand "past performance is not indicative of future results", but sometimes it can be.
My gut says, the old man will pull a rabbit out of the hat, I'm just nervous about the terms.
My hope is that J.B has learnt his lesson, and will hand over the lion share of financing negotiations to vollmer. LL i'm not too keen on.
I say 75% chance we will get some form of financing in place imo. Just a matter of terms.
This is J.B's game to throw.
Great counterpoints. As it appears logic dictates, no on truly can predict what will happen here in the interim. Technically, or otherwise.
Fundamentally speaking, LBSR could drop into the sub penny range by spring, if JB can't get financing in order by then imo.
Vollmer last name, and Haberer sponsoring events together.
Is there a link between barbara vollmer, stephen vollmer and charles vollmer and haberer/Huntington National Bank?
My spidey sense is tingling. coffee time.
http://www.thefirstteegcnky.org/club/scripts/section/section.asp?NS=GPS
Why did a Hunting National Bank subsidiary purchase only 1,750 LBSR shares a few weeks ago?
http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/lbsr/institutional-holdings
http://www.haberer.com/
Hmmm...Do any of these individuals have links to Vollmer?
So far, probably means nothing..but it is strange that a Cindy Meeker appears to be classmates of some Arizonian students with the last name VOLLMER.
http://www.haberer.com/team.aspx
http://www.reunion.com/az/saint+johns/st+johns+high+school/
Who knows probably just a coincidence, no?
As you well know, a loss or profit is not realized, until a sale of the underlying equity has occured.
Like you, we all are hoping for the best outcome here, regardless of our varying trivial differences of opinion.
What will be, will be. Despite our best or worst ambitions.
GLTU
SHHHHHHHH King, you already spilling too Many beans my friend.
Wonder who is accumalating all these stealthy shares?
Got it. I guess I might try holding charts right side up as well. Ughh too much to learn here.
Should just leave all this crystal ball charting wizardy to DJ I suppose.
Well I hope you are right....time will tell.
TICK TOCK...J.B SHOW US THE MONEY
What makes you say that?. My mickey mouse charts is "predicting" a 2-5% in the red close tommorow.
Seems I have alot to learn. :(
What am I missing?
IMO, I recommend you edit this post before it's too late. Severely illogical premise.
I have seen you wax more eloquently. Just saying.
The $25 million etc, is to prove what ztem/srk is hinting at.
This is basic common sense.
We are still a speculative exploration company at this time. Nothing vague about that fact.
Nothing can replace a good ole fashion sustained, and targeted drilling program result.
Can we all agree on these facts? yes?
Another LBSR gang member M-I-A:
Keith Brill:
http://www.libertystaruranium.com/www/about-us/management-directors?searchterm=KEITH+BRILL
http://www.linkedin.com/in/keithbrill
IMO if this info has to be forwarded to LL, he deserves to be fired.
I wonder how many houses he is showing prospective clients today.
Poster:Carolinacoast, thanks for the info, much appreciated. Will definetly keep that on my watchlist.
Poster:LIGB, 300k?? ouchh. Yeah I left about 75k on the table myself.
Carolinacoast, at your pleasure, would you mind passing along the name of the company in private message that you are referencing?
I would appreciate it.
Oh no. I was simply responding to the poster who said he remembered me from another board. Agreeing yes it was me.
Let me clarify:
Duped by LBSR? Not at all.
I believe in the resource potential as proposed by SRK/ZTEM etc.
I believe J.B is one of the world's most premiere Geologists.
I believe our claims will eventually be monetized.(by whom, I don't know)
I believe J.B is NOT the person to be at the helm of the company at this stage, and going forward.
I believe management does a terrible job of communicating with and bringing real value to shareholders at large.(see sage intended loi)
I believe that another year or two could go by, because of J.B Stubborness/ineptness to let go of the wheel, with no real progress with financing our claims.
I believe we will be able to buy more shares soon ,below 0.01, if J.B doesn't pull the rabbit out of the hat by spring.
I believe we could be sitting here another 5 years from now, firmly in the tripple zeros if J.B somehow stays in control.
I believe no matter what I say, what will be , will be.
FWIW--> LBSR is definetly NOT a scam. We simply need better management imo.

Re: None Post # of 12867
WELP...Looks like I got scammed here too. Lost lots of $$ bagholding.
I for one was too excited when she balloned over 300% in my acocunt within days..but didn't sell :(
In hindsight just seems like a run of the mill a pump and dump, imo.
triple zeros coming quickly here, when other people finally face the fact of the obvious.
We got duped, plain and simple boys IMO.
King, I agree on briscoe's value as a supreme geologist. I give him the utmost respect as such. But I fear you didn't really answer my post:
"I have an arsenal of companies that did just that and I am talking in the same CLASS as LBSR,these companies were in financial troubles just like JB and they just kept plugging and plugging"
You do? That would be a list I would love to take a peak at.
FWIW..do you know offhand if any one of those ceo's on your list, ever had a past of being sued by thier financiers? **JUST CURIOUS**
TIA
Simple logic would dictate if you read my post, you would see the catch 22 therein.
First fallacy,You are assuming briscoe would be willing to give up more control, just because tracy said so??
Hence my particular point about her statement being useless..a nicety on her part at best, nothing more.
We may never get to first base.
Second fallacy..."collaborative", has no real meaning. That could mean anything.
So all in all, the whole thing is meaningless.
We do agree, time will tell.
That is all.
Hopefully. I hope broscoe hands over the reins of negotiations to someone more qualified, so we don't end up with another lowball tire kicking offer fiasco.
GLTU
"If situation calls for change, then they are open for a more collaborative management at the top"
Amigo, I respect your opinion here, but you must agree that the premise per tracy, has no actual value.
You must agree that bland statements:"collaborative management" has no real meaning.
But, like i say, time will tell. Unfortunatley, in the interim briscoe keeps fulfilling my fear meter by continually showing incompetent management in action with every NR.
tick tock
"if I had 25MM to invest in a Gold exploration/mining company, that means that I could have a bit more control over the situation"
Bingo, imo therein may lie our achelle's heel to our claims. Maybe briscoe will never be willing to give up sufficient control in lieu of major financing.
He seems to be only interested in fast money, where he gets to keep calling all shots..big man on campus type.
I'm saving rest of my dry powder for what I think is the coming lower SP levels here.
Just my 0.02
Time will tell.
TICK TOCK
Great points. IMO, we need to add in the crux axis upon which these points you list teeter.
BRISCOE=BAD
Would you give briscoe $25 million, if you had it?
Honestly.
NO bash
TIA
Would you seriously give briscoe $25 million, if you had it?
