I respect your decision to sell. Not taking big losses gives you a chance to invest in other stocks. I have been here since July and participated in the last run up. I am still expecting great things from this stock. My hope is the gold will be found and delivered to the shareholders. It has not been the easiest place to be the last several months waiting for that PR that is coming soon. On the other hand, I am convinced it is coming, and one day soon, I will understand what has gone on for the last several months and respect this company all the more. Time will tell. My investment is still in play. My very best to you, GO HLNT, Jim
My sentiments towards Mr. Coats are solely derived from what I see in public. He has established relationships with others to market, manufacture and install the units and to provide them to the government, thru others, for their testing and approval. I am impressed that he took a company, on the verge of insolvency, and reduced the share structure from 10 billion to 2. 7 bllion shares. Jim
Good post. Only dot connecting here. My only guess is that the Texas case is also about to be settled and they were going to PR the two together. Time will tell. Hopefully we'll know soon. My very best to you and all, GO HLNT, Jim
Interesting post. I don't personally know a single person on this board. Everythng that is posted-I have no way of measuring unless there is a link to something public that I can read. Past the links, there is a world of hope. Personally, I think that we won't see much till the second quarter. It will be at the very end of first quarter to receive end of year and 4th quarter financials. It will be midway thru the 2nd quarter till we get 1st quarter financials. And then we have the last court case to hear from in Texas. And now, the 10th generation of HY IMPACT coming on the market-sometime around May if I remember correctly. And then, of course, becoming current and EPA/CARB verification. And then, significant revenues from somewhere. Gen sets, fleets, government, motorized toy surfboards, whatever. But, Johnny, you sure hit the nail on the head, HOPE, that is what I have in the meantime, waiting for something to be released. There is one thing also that helps my hope. That is Mr. Coats building a team to take these products to market instead of trying to go it alone. Two heads are better than one. And 5 or 6 heads are better than two. My very best to you and all, GO HLNT, Jim
Are you saying the lawsuits are all over? Ding Dong, the witch is dead? The ball and chain has been removed? I hope that we can finally go on with life. Let the good times roll. My very best to you, GO HLNT, Jim
Good post, wer123. Your opinion has great weight. Thru all of the sceptics remarks for over a year, your response has been- keep buying. Buy on the way down, buy on the way up, buy more day by day. Your opinion speaks volumes because it results in you following your dream. And no one can take that away as long as you don't let them. Clouds without rain is how the good book describes the sceptics of this world. Time will tell and I believe we are closer to the explosion than we have ever been. JMHO You also don't mind engaging sceptics. Good for you. I don't have that desire, but good for you. My very best to you, GO HLNT, Jim
Good post. I wasn't here a year ago. But it amazes me the people who were, saw the promise and bought. And then bought some more. And then bought some more. Before Bill Cunetta came on board. Before relationships with Launchit. Before Legacy. Before TMS. Before the Lindon group. And all of the ones, that I am aware of, who were here a year ago are still here. And confident. And they were confident a year ago. Kudos to all who saw the promise a year ago, bought and stayed. It took a lot more faith then than now. My best to all in whatever investment decisions you make. GO HLNT, Jim
You sure have a way with words. Maybe should've been a lawyer. You summed that up very well My best to you, GO HLNT, Jim
A few thoughts. Those in the company can not buy shares unless it is part of a regular buying program. It would be insider trading. Ditto for most of those with NDAs who have insider knowledge. Longs who have done a good amount of DD and come to the conclusion that this is a good investment have probably invested all they can or are willing to put in one investment. There are other promising investments out there. On the other side of the coin, there are many longs who also are not willing to sell because they believe there are better days here and just need the first PRs to send the stock price up. My only question for speculation is-what comes out first? Current status, lawsuits settled, several smaller fleet deals, major fleet deal, EPA/CARB certification, announcement of the 10th generation HY IMPACT model complete with auto adjust as the engine rpm goes up and down for absolute best fuel economy? My best to you, GO HLNT, Jim PS-I vote for lawsuits settled. JMHO
Good question. Just who is a person supposed to believe? On one side you have the people pedicting triple 000 any day now, bankruptcy, no products being manufactured. On the other side you have people predicting .25 by Thanksgiving, or was it Christmas, and really good news any day now. Who do you believe? Investing, to me, is not about "listening" to people you don't know. I was thinking this morning, I don't know, personally, a single poster on this board. My decision to invest was based on my own study of every scrap of info I could find and making a decision based on that study. Now, don't get me wrong, I would love for their to be released today "really big positive go to the moon news today." But that was not part of my investment decision that if we get really big news by Jan 1 2013, then I will invest. (I invested last summer.) Personally, with everything I have seen, I am not expecting much till the second quarter. In the meantime, it means nothing to me how many times one camp predicts the end of HLNT today or the other camp predicts to the moon today. Neither one was part of my decision to invest. I think we should all do our own DD as the basis for our investment decision. In the meantime, gotta go to work. Be back tonite. Ps-Will "it" be today? First thing I check in the morning is # of posts. I think a lot of people are worn out being at the tennis match watching the ball go back and forth. IT is. It isn't. It is. It isn't. Time will tell someone once said. My very best to you, GO HLNT, Jim
"No reason we shouldn't be another ten bagger this year." Frame it, put it on the wall. You are right. However, I think it will be much bigger this year. But a 10 bagger this year is a good place to start. My very best to you, GO HLNT, Jim
And where there's smoke there's fire. Lots of fire. The time is here. I can feel it. My very best to you, GO HLNT, Jim
All of us, Mr. Penguin. All of us. It is a lot funner with the pps going up. I feel like the roller coaster ride has begun. We're going up up up ever so slowly. But then, all of a sudden, the roller coaster goes over the top and the amazing ride begins. My very best to you, GO HLNT, Jim
Mr. Hot Penguin this is the most positive I have ever seen you. This is definitely some kind of sign. "Desperately wanting to believe." Wow. You must know something that nobody or only a privileged few know. C'mon, give it up Penguin. What did you find out? My best to you, GO HLNT, Jim
OOPS- I mean May 15 for the quarterly report. GO HLNT, Jim Thanks, ASSETS, you already answered my questions in the previous post. Looking forward to it.
You are talking about two different posters. The post from Sparks may be about news possibly to be released this week or thereabouts. The post from assets may be about different news for this quarter. Possibly about sales. I'm still dot connecting, swimming as fast as I can.. Not bad for someone who is not a penguin. My best to you, GO HLNT, Jim EDIT-actually, the news from SPARKS and ASSETS is sooner than I expected. I was not expecting to see much till the second quarter. I don't mind being wrong at all. It's a lot funner when news is being released.
Thanks for the good news. Will we have to wait for this news to be released on the quarterly report due approx. Apr. 15 or will there be PRs released before then? Thanks for all you do. I appreciate you. My best to you and all, GO HLNT, Jim
I believe Sparks stated he thought it would be the end of sub penny and could go up to 0.012 and possibly 0.015. I believe the word would was attached to the sub penny part of the statement.Everyone have a great day, I've got a number of tons of snow to remove from my driveway and sidewalks and various neighbors driveways. Be back later. My very best to all, GO HLNT, Jim
Things not so much. People yes. And you are one of the people I see a lot of value in. PS-I am not a professor, but I am interested in others thoughts. I read a lot. My very best to you, GO hlnt, Jim
There are lies and there are statistics. When I studied statistics in mathematics, my professor stated you can prove anything with statistics if you use the particular info that proves your assumption. Look at stock prices. Should we take HLNT's price for the last year till now? Should we take it for the last year till September? Should we take it from September till now? When I am looking at a stock to evaluate it, the first tool I use is a chart for the last year. And, if you use that tool first, there are many pinky stocks that I look no further. If the 1 year chart looks good, then I look further to see if there is some value not recognized by the market as yet. And I look at the management team to see what kind of people they are. Mr. Coats intro letter on HLNT's home page impresses me as someone who is not out to impress people and also has a can do attitude to get the job done. A lot of that is instilled in the military. So, once I am satisfied with what I see, I invest. After that, people can show me what the stock price has done in different time frames, but it doesn't affect me. When I see value,or the what as Mr. Buffet says, the when is easy. I don't try to time entry points or time exit points. The stock price will take care of itself, when the value I see is recognized by the market. At the present, does the market value HLNT stock
very much right now? No, but that is not my criteria for investing. Appreciate others viewpoints, as I say, I'm here to learn more. Mr. Buffet bought one of his core holdings,Coca-Cola near the top of its stock price, because he saw value. That is what I encourage people to do-see whether you see value in this stock. If you do, act accordingly. If you don't act accordingly. My very best to you, Jim
Yes it has been posted here. Can't say by who. My best to you, GO HLNT, Jim EDIT-and the sale price was 5200 each. Over a 500 million contract.
I appreciate all the kind words from all of the posters. However, I am not the hero. The heroes are the leadership of HTI that has worked day in and day out to bring this company's products to the marketplace. And the heroes are the posters who have looked for info and collected it and posted for others to benefit. And I think, someday, Mr. Coats and others, could write a book about the things they went thru to make this a viable company. In the meantime, while there is still some things to resolve, I am encouraging posters to send a short email of appreciation to Mr. Coats expressing gratitude for accomplishing all that has been accomplished to date. For establishing relationships with a number of companies in marketing, manufacturing and installation. For getting these products into fleet testing. For the first fleet deal signed on Dec.4 2012. For resolution to the first and second lawsuits. For establishing a relationship with investors to fund ongoing operations so there would be no need for further dilution. For releasing a forward looking statement on expected revenues for this year. For getting these products into government testing for 100,000 units. For working on getting the company financials current. For submitting products for testing for EPA/CARB verification. For getting these products into maritime use. These are all just off the top of my head. I'm sure you guys can think of many more. My best to you and all, GO HLNT, Jim PS and don't forget DONG FENG.
Interesting post. Yes, there are many scams, some you don't even have to sign up for. Identity theft. Seems like people, in the past, were more honest, or, at least, did things more openly, like sticking up banks. But it is, what it is. Some have tried to escape and build a bomb shelter in Wyoming and stock up on ten years food and a million rounds of ammo to keep it. The stock market is supposed to crash any day now for the last 4 years. And, some didn't buy all the hype, and what do you know, it's setting new highs. There are scams everywhere and there is opportunity everywhere. I'm watching some companies that are getting closer to bring out some blockbuster technology, but not yet. Which brings us to this interesting company, HLNT. I, personally, have never seen a company so loved by some, so hated by others, and some have gone back and forth between the two. They started off with a Ceo-Mr. Coats, who inherited a 10 billion share company that was on the verge of bankruptcy. It had been diluted into infinity by the previous management. For the life of me, I don't know yet why he took on such a challenge. There are so many things in life easier than saving a company that has been mismanaged. But, for whatever reason, he accepted the challenge. He has reduced the share structure to 2.7 billion. He has entered into an agreement with a group of investors to give money, as necessary, to fund operations until the company becomes profitable. Therefore, no more dilution. He has established relationships with others in public relations, marketing, manufacturing and installation. The products are now being tested by the government for an initial contract of 100,000 units. And he gets blasted and blasted and blasted. Well, you didn't do this fast enough. Well, you didn't do that fast enough. Frankly I am amazed of two things. First, that the company survived. Second, that Mr. Coats has not thrown in the towel. He sent out a message that the company is expecting 100 million in revenue this year. Did anyone send him an email saying thank you for releasing a projection? I did. We can be part of the solution in supporting the company we're invested in. Or, if one decides that there are too many unknowns, fine. It is also a valid decision not to invest or sell. I encourage each one to come to their own conclusions, but, if it is to stay, I encourage you to find part of the elephant that doesn't stink to look at. Not to be blind, but realistic. And I am here to learn and become a better investor. I look at your concerns. Thank you IMHO, My very best to you, GO HLNT, Jim
Well, there is an opinion. If you ask ten people if they ever heard of Thomas Edison or Tesla, I bet many more would've heard of Edison. He sure brightened up our life. And, as a result, many other things were posible. I know Tesla was experimenting with sound waves in their ability to disrupt matter, but I haven't seen anything else about him. I know all of his research notes were stolen from his house shortly after his death. And, the tenacity of Edison to keep going, until he figured out the answer to something, who knows, maybe that was an inspiration to Tesla. I know they both had great minds. My best to you, Go HLNT, Jim
You are so right. We are closer than we have ever been. Reminds me of a gold mine. A guy sold all of his stuff and put it all in developing a closed gold mine. He worked long and hard, but in the end, failed. Another man came along and hired a geologist to survey the mine. His report? The other fella stopped 3 feet short of the mother lode. What did Mr. Coats do? He made strategic relationships with others to market, manufacture and install the units. Now why would someone do that? He recognized the sales would be so huge that there was no way to do it all under one roof. He is like the second man that developed that gold mine-the successful one. What a leadership team that is in place. My very best to you, Go HLNT, Jim
Who is gonna win the Super Bowl? Answer-the one who wants it more. Will find out shortly. I have no idea who is hungrier. My very best to you, GO HLNT, Jim
Hey, that post was for you. I was responding to one of your posts. I really appreciate all you do. Your enthusiasm is great and your posts are very organized. I could sure use some of that to rub off on me. Looking forward to a great year for HLNT. My very best to you, Jim
Just because something has not been done before successfully does not mean it cannot be done. Thomas Edison, in inventing the lite bulb, tested over 7000 types of filament material. All did not work. One of his friends came up to him and suggested it was not possible. His response? I have never been closer than I am right now. I have found 7000 things that don't work. The rest is history. I enjoy being with a team of people who are on some of the most cutting edge technology that exists. It is American made and that is what has made America great-new ideas that someone looked at and said, I can do that. There will never be a lack of people that say you won't succeed. Very few know what has gone on behind the scenes to see what an inventor like Edison went thru to be successful. But he sure made the world a better place. And I'm sure he influenced many others with his can do attitude. We are here for such a short time. Will we leave this world a better place? Depends on who we listen to. Hopefully the ones who say-I am closer than I have ever been. My best to all on this amazing journey, GO HLNT, Jim
HLNT has perfected a way for trucks, gen-sets, locomotives, fishing boats, and others to save significant money on mileage. That alone is a game changer. Then, as a side benefit, they discovered there were fewer emissions. A lot fewer. That alone is a game changer. Then they discovered that the use of DEF fluid was decreased. That is another game changer. Then, they discovered that the engines were cleaner. So clean after 110,000 miles that the engine looked like new. Another game changer. Now they are in the works to vary the flow of hydrogen to the engine as the engine rpm changes. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Stay tuned. I don't know what is next, but I do know this. I want to be with the company who has products that save gas mileage. And they save it so fast, the product pays for itself in less than a year. And I want to be with a company that has products that decrease emissions. And I want to be with a company that is helping others. They have even given products away to help others. What an awesome company. My best to you , Jim
Hey, redshirt. I don't have PM. However to answer your question, I'd just stack the checks, put a piece of paper over the left half of the stack and then flip thru the right sides and record the amounts. What an amazing day this is. I wonder if this is what SPARKS was talking about when he said there would be something good in the next 7 to 10 days back on Jan. 23rd. I am so glad. Can't wait to hear the details on the end of the lawsuit.(s).My very best to you and all, GO HLNT, Jim
Thanks, bandit. I just like to look at the glass being half full and all the positive things that have occurred this last year. Hopefully, the glass will continue to be filled up this year. I am hoping these, which seem to me, frivolous lawsuits are finally over. I think it would be a great relief to Mr. Coats not having to build and operate HLNT with lawsuits going on. I expect great things soon to be released. And it's a lot funner seeing the stock price go up. My very best to you and all, Jim EDIT-And I expect the attorneys fees are also over! Gentlemen,START YOUR ENGINES. IMHO
Apples and oranges. Niko posts the results of many, many hours of research on HLNT. Some keep posting, "Are we there yet, how much longer?" over and over . There is no answer to those questions. " Better to light a candle than curse the darkness." I believe is a quote from Hellen Keller, who had opportunity to do either and chose to light a candle. My best to you and all, GO HLNT, Jim
I don't know what DD Sparks has developed to bring the conclusion he came to. But I would not discount his opinion. He has seen the offices in Arkansas, been to the manufacturing facilities along with others. His timing may be off for this week, but I believe his info is good. And, the week isn't over yet. I walk around with an attitude of dissatisfied satisfaction. I like very much what I have seen, and at the same time, want to see more. And I will. I just don't know the timing. For today, I hope we have an update on the judge's conference that occurred yesterday. My best to you and all, GO HLNT, Jim
How is 1.2 million shares 67% of AS and OS remaining shares combined? I only went thru calculus in college. Didn't get to the higher math. Thanks, my best to you and all, GO HLNT, Jim
I agree with you. Every coin has two sides. Anyone who only looks at one side is not looking at all of the info available. There are things I would like to see that I haven't seen yet, like being current. But,there are so many positive developments in the last 6 months especially, that the being current means little to me. They are working on being current and I respect the integrity of Mr. Coats and his team to fulfill it. In the meantime, wow. Strategic relationships with marketing, manufacturing and installation. Funding for continuing business operations provided so there is no dilution. The AS shares being reduced from 10 billion to 2.7 billion. Government testing of HLNT's product for a possible 100,000 unit sale. To me it's a little like being married and the little woman is the kind made of dreams. Oh, honey, whatever I can do to make you happy, she says. You are just ecstatic with everything she is. And then one of your friends comes up to you and says-but she's a lousy cook. For all of the great things she is, it doesn't bother you a bit. So, yes, I understand how you feel. At the same time, I think we can learn from one another to get better. As I said, let's check our scorecards in a year or two and see who was the smartest in this stock. And, if someone only made 25 percent, that is still great. My best to you and all, GO HLNT, Jim
You make a good point. However, everyone has a different investing philosophy. We all have a goal of making money in the end. How we get there is an individual decision. I don't agree that someone elses investing decisions are wrong just because they are not the same as yours. The story of the tortoise and the hare comes to mind. Who won the race in the end? The race isn't over in this stock. Let's let each make their own investing decisions without criticizing others. I have never been a flipper. I would call myself an investor. However, I have thought about what you just described as a valid investing technique. I have not done it because I want to sell and be taxed at capital gains rates instead of regular rates. However, I also have a Roth IRA that I could buy and sell in with no tax consequences. Even though, at this point, I have not flipped, I see nothing wrong with it. As I say, in the end, investing is about making money. It will be interesting to see, in a year or two, who makes the largest percentage gains.Hopefully, we can all share some good times, all of us, in the future. And in the meantime, encourage and help one another achieve our goals. One of my goals-pay for 100 water wells in Africa so people can have access to clean water. My best to you and all, GO HLNT, Jim
Thanks for your question. Please see post #93209 from Nikodemos on fact compilation on HLNT. As far as the monster I see growing, I see all of the relationships that HLNT has entered into to take these prodcts to market. Mr. Coats is not trying "to do this on his own." I respect the outsourcing of different aspects of marketing, manufacuring, installation so that HTI can concentrate of the design and improvement of the units. When a volcano is getting ready t go, you don't see much. Some rumbling, some swelling of the ground, but a lot is happening underground. But the day comes when it explodes. Nobody knows when that day is. But you can see signs that it is coming. IMHO. That is the opinion I have come to. My best to you, Jim
Presupposes your point of view. I don't see the sky falling. What I do see is value. Share price is not the key determinant to me. Value is. And everything I have seen in the last 6 months speaks to me of a company being built to come on the scene massively. And nothing I have seen changes that. The only question I have is when are the deals signed and then PR'd. You said you have a small bag full. That is the level of your confidence and is the right decision for you. I have a large bag and its getting bigger. I feel it is the right decision for me. You said you sold last fall at, I believe, .0191. That was a great decision on your part, as it has turned out. I have not sold, but keep accumulating. Who is right? I believe we can both be. At the present time, until PR's come out about revenue, I don't think the stock price is going to change much. I see it as a great time to accumulate. You want to see a trend as a result of revenue coming in. I don't disagree with that for you. I'm just saying I see it differently. To each their own investing philosophy. My best to you and all, GO HLNT, Jim
All of us must come to our own conclusions. Based on all I have seen and heard from my own DD and the PR's, I have come to the conclusion this is an amazing product and the company is making wise decisions in partnering with others to bring it to market. The first fleet deal was signed on Dec. 4th 2012. The shop foreman gave the results of his own testing of the units installed on the trucks. The products work and are being installed. My only questions are how fast the company will bring the products to market and who will be the first major fleet to sign . Only what I have concluded. If your conclusions are different, then act accordingly. My besto you, GO HLNT, Jim
Some days, it's like trying to watch grass grow. That doesn't mean it's not growing. I don't know what it was like in the early days of Microsoft or some other large company at its beginnings. I suspect there were better days than others. I am content to wait and not be concerned on a daily basis. I am satisfied that this investment will pay off. Today, next week, next month, end of year, end of next year? I don't know. But I do know that all of the strategic relationships that have been establihed in marketing, manufacture and installation will be used. Oh, did I mention a strategic relationship with a group of investors to fund HLNT thru the R&D of the developent of now the 10th generation of the product now with telematics and with a CPU to vary the flow of hydrogen on the fly? The grass is growing. And I will be here for the KABOOM! My best to you, Jim
