What happened this time???,
I’ve got my 2’s posts right next to my DOW 10,000’s and I NEVER thought I could use them ever again. Well, at least one of them….
What happened this time????
Correct…Unless you can offer a good price on a Rolex to the CEO….
Wow, the power of shareholders over the incumbent, stodgy management was proven today!
Toast..
Even CNBC pumps don’t help……
Benny, astute observation on your part. Peter Principle in all its glory..
Aurinia gets a nod from NICE, and this is all there is???
The Glickster wouldn’t have been so greedy…
Peter finally caught with fingers in the cookie jar: was really blatant:
Aurinia Pharma: MKT Capital Ltd. issues a letter to Aurinia Shareholders
MKT Capital Ltd., a significant shareholder of Aurinia Pharmaceuticals (AUPH) which together with its affiliates beneficially owns approximately 4.2% of Aurinia''s outstanding shares.
Highlights egregious compensation awarded to executives despite poor performance, including ~$26 million in payouts to CEO Peter Greenleaf From 2019 -- 2022.
Calls on the Board to heed shareholder feedback by publicly committing to a strategic review process.
Believes a sale to a well-capitalized acquirer could yield up to $28 per share, or a more than 192% premium for shareholders, based on recent comparable transactions.
Plans to withhold support for Chairman Dr. George Milne, CEO Peter Greenleaf and Compensation Committee Chair Joseph Hagan, who should all be held accountable for perpetuating a culture of self-enrichment at the expense of Aurinia Shareholders.
Jeepers, not much here..
I think we all know his thesis is ripe with errors.
“What is going to work? Correct me if I'm wrong, but buying a big block V8 truck hasn't been working much, with respect to climate change. Least you'll have a few photos with your new guzzler that you can proudly show your grandkids.”
Think of all the less fortunate that will never be able to purchase a new EV. The refining of gasoline will go on as far as the eye can see so I should always be able to buy it at a reasonable price.
If your thesis is correct, the price of gasoline will plummet, and there is then an even higher incentive to keep running ice vehicles.
Question for this board. What year would you time buying a gasoline powered big block V8 truck before they go extinct? I want to replace my truck at the appropriate time.
This manipulation of the auto market by the government isn’t going to work imo:

I shutter at the unintended consequences ..
Question for this board. What year will be one of last to buy a gasoline powered big block V8 truck before they go extinct?
I want to trade in and buy one just before they go away. I absolutely do not believe the government with their aggressive plans as described below:

I do not follow this, so I do not. In the hey day of excitement with this company, there were always someone contributing this info. Now, not so much. Just complainers here now.
Just follow the script numbers….
E*Trade sucks..
$21 + $7= $28
KR’s offer was for $34. So, there is still $6 per share on the table.
GEHC is now trading as an independent company from GE. Now, they can make their move on NDRA, Rolexes and all…
Let the bidding begin…
Technically, with a still declining dollar, this is setting up nicely…
At least the tax loss selling is over..
Benny, LOL…
Unfortunately, with only 3 million shares outstanding, and a market cap of only $13 million, their patents aren’t as valued as you think..
I expect he fell in love with the stock. I pounded the table for him to sell it in the $5-$7 range, but that made him more angry.. I expect when the CEO showed his collection of Rolexes on social media, that was the ticket that hooked him.. Rode it all the way down…
Ouch! Not expected.. Cost of drug..
I expect there is so much resistance to this deal, it will be terminated. Too bad as Walmart is the real juggernaut..
This is huge for Barrick.
1 for 20 reverse splits are brutal..
Rocket Man
Here we go: TotalEnergies to cut U.K. North Sea investment by 25% after windfall tax
https://seekingalpha.com/news/3913188-totalenergies-to-cut-uk-north-sea-investment-by-25-after-windfall-tax
I like the response. Windfall taxes are a terrible idea..
$6.85 will be paid to the shareholders of record on the day before the ex-dividend date no matter what happens with the judge’s decision. The $6.85 was extracted from the share price so the shareholders of record are owed that.. If the judge stops payment, then the $6.85 is added back to the share price. If judge approves, then the $6.85 is paid out as a return of principle..
Quantum Mechanics…
Jeepers……………..
