Post on seeking alpha that states Crown expects the deal to close…
I would be worried the salesforce has evaporated..
Market Cap as of Friday is now only $574,000.
They will scrap this off the pavement next week.
Dew is an amazing asset to have here on iHub, and quite frankly, is the #1 reason I stay here.
Vin, we should somehow switch monikers.
“I am pretty damn sure Dew didn't say buy ENTA at $100 then hold it for the rest for your life. Dew was talking about ENTA well before it jumped dramatically to over $100. I read about it and bought it when it was in the $20-$30 range. I ended up selling some in the $80s and $90s. I though their Hepatitis B and Covid programs had promise so when it dropped dramatically I started buying more. I have more shares than I ever did, and by a lot. I am down 60% right now “
I totally agree with your statement…
Carl, seek stability in something..
You can’t be that naïve. I never said anything about what Dew’s acquisition price was for that stock.
Ariadinvestor is a despicable, desperate long, who has paid the ultimate sacrifice with this stock
Wow, that would indicate a deep recession
Dew has had other recent blowups as well.
ENTA:,was over $100 at one point, now at $11.
CLF $12.58, 52 week low yesterday.
Fortunately, he manages private money, so no harm done to the public
But, Dew’s knowledge of the markets is priceless and he adds valuable insight to each oh investments
Looking where to redeploy RVNC funds and looked at this, a previous holding, but this chart looks to be the absolute worst in my biotech watch list. Can’t touch this.
Why on earth did they announce this today?? This is something you announce at the close of trading on Friday. You make the deal consummated on Friday.
I bet Investor Relations aren’t even picking up the phones. I don’t see a legal way out..
Dan Browne started drinking early today…
I mean, you know they have shopped this for the last year, so I’m surprised this was the best the market offered..
RVNC was directly on a path like AMRN and should be thankful that they got an immediate lifeline. AMRN is toast, imo..
Look, this is the easy way out for the board, senior management, and institutional investors. Especially institutional investors they saw the mismanagement of this organization and they would welcome way out.
Getting a lift..
“How about KVUE, JNJ spin-off? Or SOLV from 3M?”
Surely you jest…?
This one is all but done..
“I wonder whether ABBV could up the current bid for Revance w/o incurring an antitrust challenge from DOJ or FTC?”
Highly unlikely. They have had over a year to make their move and didn’t..
You can blame this on the CEO. He made the outlandish sales projections of $280 million for this year, discovered he might not make it, and sold out on the cheap. Just before the Chinese payment was to arrive.
This $6.66 works for me as I aggressively averaged down. Obviously, the buyers aren’t Christian to settle at this price..
$RVNC and Crown Laboratories Merger Agreement.
$6.66/share in cash representing a total enterprise value of $924M.
“— 1/40th the cost of MRIs, and resolution is just excellent.
$NDRA”
resolution is not that good. All you have to know is they refuse to have an independent organization confirm the results.. The big reveal.
One thing I have always assumed is that cosmetic related companies don’t get the same valuation as oncology related companies, but I respect your point..
The Folsun cash injection will be psychologically important..
But Dew, this is a nano sized company with not that many moving parts.
Another cluster. Foley is a smooth presenter, but not so good with accounting…
“They need 66m at least to maintain guidance. With 66m in Q2 and 52 in Q1, they still need 81m on average for Q3 and Q4 to meet the guidance.
Whether they act on it or not, if they can't meet the 66m, the street will cut the guidance for them. “
You can count on that.
Correct. Thanks for the correction.
On the Q1 conference call, the CEO very confidently reiterated the FY sales target of $240 million. I thought that was quite bold as he still has 9 months of sales needed to make that goal.. If he was the least bit doubtful, I don’t think he would have stated it so boldly, and should have bracketed it THEN to give him some wiggle room.
Now, that is encouraging thank you!
So no risk that they file Bankruptcy??
You guys scare the heck out of me buying down here. It was $26 4 years ago..
You rang???
You’ve been here for the last three years, so it is not because of me..
Delisted or reverse split, what will it be??
