Hi Rustler. I am a holder of this stock and have been for some time. I've been trading/investing in Q stocks since 2008 and I never dismiss choice #1 b/c that is always a possible outcome. In most Q stocks, yes, the shares are cancelled and the shareholders get hosed. But there have been some that have come out of BK with shares intact which have made people lots of money (me included). These Q stocks are definitely high risk, no doubt about that but I feel its worth the gamble. Time will tell the tale. GL.
That's good to hear King. Been holding since trip zeroes.
I became a Q stock buyer right after the 2008 financial crash. I saw opps to make good money in this realm of investing. Did really well in Chemtura and saw what happened with Pilgrims, Vermillion, etc. I don't really remember why I bought QSGIQ...probably b/c it was a Q that had some chatter. But then look at the chart - it went dead. So I sold out my position to recoup some of the money I put in. I did rebuy it but at a much higher price. So now I buy select Q's and hold them to see what may transpire. Bought CGSYQ at .0005 and it already hit .01. I do hold a position here in ASYTQ and I will keep it in my account until the final outcome (whatever that may be). Bottom line for me after what happened with QSGIQ, I'd rather lose the minimal money I invest in these Q's then sell too soon and miss out on major profit. I know people will say profit is profit but I'm not a full-time daytrader. This is not my job so basically I'm up to bat swinging for home runs. Good luck to you bud.
Thanks edurk. I'll keep asytq on the back burner and wait to see what happens. I made a huge mistake with QSGIQ and won't do that ever again. Bought that in March 2010 below .002. Sold it b/c it flatlined. Well if I would have just let it sit in my account, could have turned my measley $200 investment into about 60k. Let's hope we can get something similar here. Thanks and good luck.
edurk,
Do you have any positive info that CA will be using ASYTQ to do a R/M? Is ASYTQ currently a shell stock? Also, do you have any idea as to when ASYTQ will be coming out of BK? Any insight you could provide would be appreciated. I do have a small position in this stock. From what I gather (and keep in mind I haven't done much DD) is that CA is a private company that might possibly go public by using ASYTQ. Is this assumption partially correct? Thanks buddy.
Mutz
Congrats. Wish I would have bought more in the trip zeroes when I initially bought in. Still loving the ride up though.
Just got home from the hospital. Wow, what a good day. So glad I bought in the trips. Lets keep this ball moving gents.
Welcome aboard. Hopefully this will pay off for all of us. IMO, its worth the gamble. Time shall tell the tale.
Thanks. Hope it works out for all invested here but one thing I've learned over the years with these OTC securities, never get your hopes up too high. I try to keep a "whatever" attitude.
I plan on taking some profits but my gut tells me to hold on for a little longer. Like I said earlier, I only throw a little money at these going for the home run. If I get burned, well then shame on me. I'd rather lose the little bit of money I put into this then sell too soon and miss out on thousands of dollars I could have had. Its just a big gamble and I like to let it ride for awhile. To each his own I guess.
Yepper. I bought last week at .0005 but haven't sold yet. I'm one of those greedy pigs probably being led to slaughter
No argument here. But to be honest, I've made more money from Q stocks than any other type of stock. I'm still kicking myself in the arse over QSG*Q. I bought that stock last March at around .0017-.002 and sold it a month later b/c it went into a coma. Well look what happened with that one. Could have made a fortune off it. All of these penny stocks are risky with the Q's being the riskiest but high risk can equal high reward. Doesn't matter to me though, its not like I'm dumping thousands of dollars into these. I throw a few hundred at them and take a shot. Maybe this one will be a home run or possibly a strikeout. Time will tell. GLTU.
Interesting. Glad I bought in last week at .0005. I like Q stocks even though I consider them pretty much to be lottos. GLTA.
Wow. Nice close. Been holding and adding this one for awhile. GLTU.
The 20,000 at the ask was me. Threw some lunch money at it. Bought a few shares as a lotto. GLTA.
Do these bid/ask prices on IHUB really mean anything after hours? According to Scotrade, the ask is .007. You have piqued my interest with asytq b/c I do play Q stocks often but what's the real story with this one? If you would, could you provide a brief synopsis of this stock b/c I haven't done any DD on it. Just looking for some info. Thanks.
I appreciate your thoughts. Thanks for responding.
Hey Cork, I'd like to know your thoughts on CORSQ and JLIC. You're a knowledgable guy when it comes to these bk plays and was wondering if you had any opinions on these two. Thanks in advance.
Yepper. This stock has been my biggest blunder. Bought it back in March 2010 at .002. Sold it about a month later b/c it went into a coma. I was telling myself what a stupid purchase I made. Look at it now. I did re-buy recently but man, I had so many more shares back then. I'm still kicking myself in the arse
I'm in agreement with you Rocky. I too will be holding this one longer term. GLTY.
MITD---Good news out. Solid company with good revenues.
Its people who are paid by hedgies and boiler rooms that need to get a life, a real job, and repent for their sins because they are truly the scum of the Earth. I mean who could sleep soundly at night by helping your corporate masters squeeze every last dime out of former employees, retires, and other families who were already crushed by the wamu theft.
Well said. I just hope Hell has a special place for these type of people...I really do!
ErJ,
What are you doing with my profile image LOL.
Ilene,
I finally had the opportunity to listen to your statement to the court. You did an excellent job and I applaud you for your work. Your speech was highly researched and technical (I know you were speaking english but it sounded like a foreign language to this dumb doctor Anyway, thanks again. Hopefully the judge will take your speech into consideration.
Jeff,
This case has been emotionally draining (and financially at times) for all of us over the past 2+ years. Sometimes we're optimistic about the final outcome and sometimes we're pessimistic. That's human nature and that's the nature of this case. No disrespect so don't take this the wrong way but it seems this case is eating you up alive. Probably be best to sell if you haven't done so and move on. I believe this case should have been done by now with a favorable outcome for equity but that just goes to show you what type of people we're up against. Never forget, the love of money is the root of all evil. These jokers know there's money for us but they want it all to themselves and will do whatever it takes to keep it all.
Personally, I'll never sell one single share until this case is officially over. I've been waiting for about 27 months now so I guess I'll just keep on waiting.

Well this is my last response to you b/c its apparent that you can't or won't accept the truth. I'm curious though, if JPM was in such great shape, why did Dimon oversee the transfer of 25 billion dollars on 10/28/08 from the treasury dept. to JPM via TARP? Why wasn't Wash Mut given any money through TARP?
Birds of a feather flock together bro. The FDIC is just as corrupt and you know it. This heist was planned long before Wash Mut was officially seized. There's another FACT for you.
Everyone who is in this stock is welcome here as far as I'm concerned. We all have a common cause and all shareholders should be treated with courtesy and respect. So welcome to you from WV, USA.
Where did you come up with that? JPM just bought the bank after it was seized. Any other assets of WMI were left in the holding company.
And do you really think JPM didn't have their hand in this seizure prior to the FDIC gifting it to them? Come on man...seriously! From your posts, you act like JPM is the innocent victim. Or better yet, the savior. JPM has been extremely corrupt since its inception. That's not my opinion, that's FACT!
Has anyone seen any news that Japan Airlines cancelled shares. So far, I've seen no such mention.
Yes, all of my money is gone. What I want to know is why do other people still have this stock in their account such as yourself. All Scotturd told me was that the stock was delivered out b/c it was deemed worthless. I'm gonna have to contact them again and ask why other investors still have their shares.
Don't know. I saw that my shares were gone and my account history said "stock delivered out". So I contacted Scottrade and they told me the stock was delivered out b/c it was deemed worthless. Who the hell knows...LOL.
Looks like JALFQ has been deemed worthless. Scottrade removed it from my account on 12/1/10. Has this happened to anyone else yet?
just no more NAME GAME stuff.
Agreed! Thanks for posting that. I too bought b/c it was a clean shell R/M. Don't really care if its Stanley Larson or Stanley Steamer.
Yes, I understand and if we are successful (because of all your support) you will all see what he submitted...I've often wondered, was it the line up for the Baseball game, a Rachel Ray recipe or an actual asset list of WMI?
That was a good one Don. Maybe its one of her 30 minute meal recipes
Nice analogy. I remember that fight - I think it was versus Dan "The Beast" Severn.
Now that's funny. Thanks for the laugh sly!
Hope you have a speedy recovery and thank you for your service.
Yepper. Glad I held onto my shares. Can't imagine selling out before the 10Q. Now if its bad, that's a different story.
