upticked... then downTocked....
One of these days... the market will see more than .43 value in a share....
As far as the nuggets part goes... They have some sort of "joint venture" with someone else to at least begin shipping nuggets. No clue as to what the arrangement is, but obviously we won't be making as much as if we were making our own nuggets... Nonetheless, I'd rather have SOME income than none with this revenue stream.
And I'm not really clear on what the second part of the issue you are having is. There ARE two separate contracts though. One for Nuggets and one for buffings. Perhaps they have enough tires on hand to fill one of the contracts? And... the 131 Number is for a 5 year period. SO...somewhere in there I'm sure it makes SOME kind of sense. I'll have another look.
Now all we need are some serious buyers
I too, am looking forward to reclaiming the steel, but I don't think we have a way of doing so presently. I believe that the only thing we can do at the moment is buff the tires... and in doing so are able to also retrieve some small amount of crumb rubber and rubber mesh as a byproduct of the buffing.
It seems that nobody (on here anyhow)has a timeline for when we'll be able to separate the steel from the rubber. Nor do I know what kind of processing will be used to facilitate this processing. (cryogenic or not to cryogenic)
Very encouraging to see the Magog facility in the political spotlight... as an example of new/expanding business in a very tough economic time... And it seems that no matter what party is in power... they will certainly have to offer some assistance to us.... the more the better!
Thanks for that post... and welcome to this board. I see from your profile that you are certainly an active poster, but I haven't seen you post on this board before. I am curious as to how you came across this company and wonder if you are a shareholder. I am amazed that the SP is as low as it is with all this good press and what has been accomplished to dated... so I am wondering how new people are being exposed to this stock.
Thanks in advance.
Nice to see the tv coverage... too bad my French is so bad that I don't have a clue as to what the underlying political story was... Anybody fluent enough to give a synopsis of what was said?
No, not suggesting any outsourcing. What I was suggesting is that it looked to me as if the powders were more or less a by-product of buffing the tires. As the tires are buffed... all the material removed from the tires goes through a collection system that would collect all the "buffing" sized pieces and drop them into a bin... where ALL the rest of the material goes a little further down the chain and is basically "sifted" and sorted by size. So... I am wondering if there will be a set of future processing needed to solely produce powders. I am also curious as to when there will be a process in place to remove the steel from buffed tires... and sort it from whatever else is left.
I could easily be wrong, but from looking at the video it seemed that the crumb and powder might have been obtained from the processing of the tires on hand... It looks like there's an air handling system in place to remove all the material removed from the tires... and it looks like the crumv and powder so far... is just sifted/sorted from what would otherwise be waste....
Comments?
What on earth has happened to the price support on this? Coulda woulda shoulda not pulled the trigger so hard when it was .75.... coulda woulda shoulda waited to buy now.
Which particular "stategic partner" are you referring to?
As much as I'd like that to happen... It would take some pretty serious buying pressure to make that happen. (You gonna put in a huge buy at market order??? lol)
I am still pretty much shell shocked by seeing just how far this tanked yesterday... Wondering what kind of games are being played. Some have noted that there was no short position as of the end of last month...Doesn't mean that there hasn't been one in the last 18 days. In any case this kind of volatility is surely giving management a royal pain too. Makes it much more difficult to raise any money with such an enormous fluctuation.
tip·ple 1 (tpl)
tr. & intr.v. tip·pled, tip·pling, tip·ples
To drink (alcoholic liquor) or engage in such drinking, especially habitually or to excess.
Had to look it up. I'm a no-longer tippling person. Many years ago I used to be Super-Tippler. For those of you still in tip top tippling shape, you should rejoice in the fact that I de-tippled, since there would hardly be an available tipple left on the planet IF I were still a tipplemeister.
PS
If we can't get more than 100 shares traded in a positive direction I might reconsider my de-tippled status.
While I still have time to edit this... I SHOULD have complained earlier... NOW we have an amazing 500 shares traded!
No beer nor tears here... but I DO know the difference between Their and There.... and your and you're.
Today's trading is really disappointing. Here's hoping that some positive developments that will seriously attract new investors is around the corner. I know that today's market is horriffic.... but it still is disappointing.
I'd still like someone to address the cryogenic issue. ARE we or are we NOT going to use a cryogenic process? Also... what percentage of process(es) that will be employed are SRI oriented... or derived from Artech?
That link shows a running Spreelast factory... with which we no longer have any affiliation (to my understanding). That video also shows a LOT more equipment than I believe we'll see installed anytime soon. Clearly they are using a cryogenic process in the video, and at this point my understanding is that we are abandoning that approach for some yet to be explained SRI technology. So... that video (in my view) only opens up more questions and uncertainty. Since it is clearly Spreelast that we're looking at... I think it would be a very good idea to undo that link so as not to cause any further confusion.
It looks to me as if the "buffing" process removes the treaded (or bald!) part of the tire... down to the steel belting. I am wondering what happens to the rest of the tire. It would seem that we will have a LOT of reclaimable rubber left "on the hoof" so to speak. I am guessing that the sidewalls probably have almost the same amount of rubber in them as the treaded portion on a worn tire. Something that hasn't been addressed yet is what will be done with the "buffed" tires... Sounds like we will have to stockpile them until we can reclaim the rest of the rubber and steel. It has been stated that we will be into the fine powders by early next year... I HOPE that means that this part will come from the rest of the tire... and that we will have the equipment in place to do this by then. I'd like a simple answer as to how many buffing machines will we need to fulfill the present buffings contracts (or WHEN will we be able to fulfill them).... and I'd like the same info for the existing nugget contracts as well? Apparently we are going to sub out some of the nugget contract. Wondering what we'll be able to make on that transaction? What part of the tire do nuggets come from? Is it an either/or proposition for processing either buffings or nuggets from a tire? Or... is a nugget just a further processed buffing?
It looks to me as if the "buffing" process removes the treaded (or bald!) part of the tire... down to the steel belting. I am wondering what happens to the rest of the tire too. It would seem that we will have a LOT of partially reclaimed rubber left "on the hoof" so to speak. This is something that hasn't been addressed yet... Sounds like we will have to stockpile buffed tires until we can reclaim the rest of the rubber and steel. It has been claimed that we will be into the fine powders by early next year... What part of the tire do the nuggets come from? Is it an either/or proposition... for claiming either buffings/or nuggets on a tire?

I am also concerned about the outstanding shares suddenly being at 22 Million. It still shows up on ETurd as being 18.7 million, but Chadmeister, in a recent interview claimed that the number was much closer to 16 million. A discrepancy of some 6 million shares IS a big deal to me.... especially with a company that has claimed to NOT be doing anything to dilute the shares....
Either the information you received is flawed OR something else has occurred that we are clearly not aware of.
Well... Mr. Art, perhaps you could change all that with a relatively small buy? Heck... ya got about 20 minutes left...lol
relatively small sell compared to the buy
Isn't that buying at .65 instead of selling?
Who cares.... as long as nobody's selling?
Just for a laugh... I noticed underneath your post an ad for.... TROJAN! Think we'll be turning tires into Trojans?
I am just guessing, but I am in the television business....
I would expect the segment to most definitely highlight the green nature of the company... a solution to polution... AND that it is a win/win situation in that the tires are free to the company AND that they are being recycled while sustaining a new industry... It can be profitable to take care of the planet... kind of slant.
What DOES concern me from a television production point of view...is that only NOW is there ANYthing to show in a TV segment. I mean the equipment is STILL being set up.... so WHAT have the producers of the show been able to use for anything that might have already been produced? I suspect that they have yet to go to the plant and shoot ANYthing... IF I were doing this segment.... I'd tell MDOR to let me know when the line is up and running so we could come shoot the story then. I guess we'll just see how that all turns out, though.
I am of the firm belief that as soon as the "market" is fully confident that MDOR CAN and WILL merely fulfill existing contracts.... the SP SHOULD be in the $3 range. Being an unproven entity... there is just too much uncertainty for investors to be able to "see" this.... just yet. In the pre-dotcom bubble bursting days... we'd be waaay higher than we are today. JMHO.
Eturd regular old... gimme a realtime quote... is 63x70 25 avail at bid.... and 2500 ask...with 18,987 shares traded and the crapster is same bid/ask, but 2500 avail with both bid/ask... and 19,487 shares traded... go figure. Often there are such discrepancies.
As of 1:18.... 60x70 on both...
You must be looking at Marketcrapster.... I have found that this feature is often not accurate. If you just get a realtime quote on Eturd.... I think you'll see that the ask is still .65... And... I BET that the next buy will be for .65 Wonder why the discrepancy.
Eturd is still showing .65 ask. Goes to show how different MMs are playing this.
Ground control to major Art.... I wouldn't characterize a .03 move as being what I would refer to as a "rocket north" experience.... Especially since we're still down .07 from Friday's close. (The bid ask changed from 60-65 to 63-65 on Eturd.... perhaps you are seeing something else?) I am presently shopping for appropriate space travel attire for WHEN this does achieve liftoff.....though.
Thanks Mr. Art2 for the info.
And what POSSIBLE reason would they have for NOT using a company's real name?
I disagree with you on this one. Just about ANY company of ANY size shows up in a google search.... Heck, I'm just a Schmo... and even I show up... so I'd like to at the very least know more about this company....
I think we'd all like to know why the "International Buffing Company" ONLY shows up in a Google search in NRs about MDOR and the Magog facility. This must be a new company and I'd bet that it was born to create the Magog facility and perhaps others that MDOR might be associated with in the future... and IF this is true... owns this company? Just my GUESS... since, since as I mentioned... I can't find ANY reference to this company other than MDOR NRs....
Mr/Ms Messie... I couldn't agree more heartily with you on ALL of your points. Some people on this board see Chad as some kind of second coming. I must, however agree that he has managed quite a feat with this stock/company... That being said, I don't trust him and several others don't either. He has a very slippery past and I am concerned about the fallout from that. Perhaps he's just realized that it would be a novel idea to put all that energy into something that can/will actually succeed and profit along with others instead of at their expense....
But.. what do I know? Heck, I like sour milk. (a quote from the infamous Chuck Barris).
Before the market opened, I strongly advised my son to buy some "magic door".... So... when the market opened he got 2k shares at .54 Wish I'd had some more money languishing that I could have applied to this.
Kind of hit a wall here now after the morning surge. I still can't understand why this isn't already trading a LOT higher. I guess it simply boild down to "show me the money".
Ya think??? Um.... did I say WHICH year??? Geeze... When we ran up to $.85 a few weeks ago, I thought that we were headed for liftoff. When this company IS recognized for the immensly undervalued stock that it is.... Then we should see very quick appreciation as investors decide that they simply must get some of this stock before it does skyrocket.
OK... after a moment's thought... I guess the most likely explanation for this discrepancy is...
That different brokerage houses use different Market makers.... and apparently Shit-Trade's MMs have a little bit of a different view of what the SP should be than others...
Just my semi-educated guess as to how this could be...
Isn't THAT speshull? Geeze, with such massive volume, it's easy to understand such a discrepancy.... NOT! I use E-Turd and when I use their so called MarketCaster feature... I often get different bid/ask than with their click once get one quote method...
I wish I were a more patient person.... Today's and yesterday's Miniature volume(s) make me nervous..... Waiting for production news and seeing this lackluster SP performance is frustrating. Guess I'll go watch some paint dry instead!
