OK. So tell us about his retroactive name change. I'm a novice. How does a person do that, anyway?
Kinda screws up the historical record, doesn't it? He wasn't trying to cover his tracks, was he? Perhaps he could make an appearance here to explain the name change and how he was able to pull it off after he disappeared from this board.
I'll buy the popcorn.
"AMEP share prices toward the end of the decade and into the next are likely to approach or exceed $10 per share."
Those were the days.
Right-o chap. Load up before she hits zero.
Pity the poor chap who mortgaged his house to load up on AENP.
Here's something else to ponder: Those who forget AENP's past are condemned to relive it. (Apologies to George Santayana.)
How's that work for ya?
You forgot to mention that many if not most of them are now bagholders.
You're wasting your breath. There is nothing good to say about AENP anymore, and almost everyone who reads this board knows it.
"Shareholders should not have drop in"
The original poster said HONEST shareholders.
Just to keep things on the up-and-up, let me point out that you left out a large part of what I said. A mere inadvertence on your part, I'm sure, so here it is, again, FYI:
"I, like many others, bought into this turkey largely based on what I read on THIS BOARD, which, before you jump on that, happened to be about the only place one could get what passed for DD on this "company." Back then, and probably even now, when a person searched for AMEP/AENP, he or she pretty quickly ended up HERE."
As I said, this was where most of the supposed DD was, and, as I recall, certain well-known heavy hitters posted a large amount of what passed for it, here, on this board. I can't for the life of me remember their names. Maybe you could help jog my memory.
I have "an equity position in this company" which, I'm sorry to say, is worth 15% of what I paid for it. (For those with "30 units of college math," that's a decline of 85%.) I, like many others, bought into this turkey largely based on what I read on THIS BOARD, which, before you jump on that, happened to be about the only place one could get what passed for DD on this "company." Back then, and probably even now, when a person searched for AMEP/AENP, he or she pretty quickly ended up HERE.
Since you're a self-described newbie (ha!), you don't remember such gems as the infamous Golden Cross and the 90-cent "worse case scenario" pre-split price prediction, do you? I could go on and on about that sort of pre-split hype, of course, but to get up to speed, why don't you just PM or e-mail one of the "heavy hitters" who, with one or two exceptions, have mostly disappeared from the board since the RS. I'm sure you know who they are.
Even those who used to brag that they were averaged in at a penny or two pre-split are under water. Hard to talk that up, I'd say.
"do you think this could run to .30?"
With a 2:1 reverse split, sure.
Rumor, speculation, hype, and happy talk took this to 14 cents pre-split. Reality has taken it to where it is today. Rumors just don't seem to cut it anymore.
Sorry to disappoint you, bud, but that's not quite what I said. And I'm not one of "you guys." I'm as negative about this company as anyone.
"The daily CMF has been green but sawtooth during that time."
Scratch "daily."
"most charts show AENP being accumulated over the past year or so"
The daily CMF has been green but sawtooth during that time. To me, that suggests accumulation AND distribution, and a lot of people who are holding, probably because they're stuck.
BTW, I thought the plan with the RS was to hit the ground running 24/7 amidst a new spirit of shareholder-friendly openness. What's up with that?
"Bookmark this post, remind me in a years time, If CB doesnt hit pay dirt, I'll eat crow, with a few shots of tequila to ease digestion."
Wow. That was two and a half years ago, and as far as I can tell, CB has yet to hit "pay dirt." Time to bite the bullet and chow down, I'd say.
Aw, c'mon nipper, be fair. We all know that AENP morphed by a factor of 25 before it dropped just a tad.
"If they don’t have a change of heart now, what will it take?"
Heart transplants.
"We need to fight back now"
Some of us tried to fight back almost a year ago by trying to prevent the RS. But, alas, a minority of shareholders who controlled a majority of shares prevailed.
A couple of board veterans can answer that.
"talked__2900000 Dart39 phone call as per Aug 13 Confirmed his vote"
It's worth adding that dart39 went from nay to yea after talking to a well-known member of "the group."
If I didn't think you were a phony newbie, I'd say you need to do a little more DD on this company before you jump on the bandwagon.
No predictions, but a suggestion. Don't make the mistake many of us made in the past, i.e., don't base your decision entirely or even mostly on what you read on this board. There are other boards, in some cases composed of AENP expatriots, where you will find a decidedly less flattering view of this company than you will find here.
$837 million is not a round number. Rounded, but not round.
http://mathworld.wolfram.com/RoundNumber.html
"Somebody must have got in at a nice price, I think."
That's what some said when the price was .14 pre-split.
It's hard to know what to call a stock that has reduced what many of us have invested almost to zero.
If I didn't know better, I'd say that CB doesn't want us pesky investors hangin' around no more.
They're probably superstitious about the number 22. Try another number.
Even I won't sell at .22, at least not yet.
It's hard to buy and sell without interest. When's the last time you saw a new name on this board?
Where are the "experts in chart analysis" (remember that?) when we need them? They could take a chart that looks like a pin cushion and turn it into a multi-bagger. I miss those guys.
"Businessman he is not"
Depends on whose pockets you're talking about.
OK, but the volume was higher than it was in the months before the run-up. I just don't see that as accumulation, that's all.
Correction: make that 291,200 SELLS vs. 172,125 BUYS.
According to ADVFN, there were 291,200 buys vs. 172,125 sells today. That sounds like distribution to me.
Sell it in 125-share lots. That'll do it.
I too yearn for the pre-RS days of happy talk, unsubstantiated hype, and 90-cent "worst case scenario" price predictions.
Let's bring those days back. That'll get the PPS up for sure.
"wonder if CB or JB know him personally."
No doubt, probably through church.
"Who knows what the REAL deal is in this Drama."
Maybe the now-absent board of directors.
The tax burden is also lessened if you don't make money.
