If they wanted to hide the duliting their TA would be gagged!
Theres a lot of questions unanswerd. That explains the current PPS.
Your guess is as good as mine about the increase in O/S A/S. Could be a lot of reasons? I guess we will soon find out.
I just called TA still at O/S 11.5 billion...
I would agree that bigger companys dont have to pay for some promotions. you are right about that.
But what about a small pinksheet that nobody has heard of? You are telling me they payed a company to have their name put out there OH NO!!! must be a scam right LMAO...
Well in my book its ok. I know if i was the CEO of a small company id be paying to have the stock promoted. Wouldnt you steve?
Where does it say touted on patent tech? Other than people saying it on this board. (including myself) beacuse ive done my DD, and IMO its real. Thresher is in the process of patenting their materials/process!! Its not just the material alone! All these big companys, acola, dupont, nasa have superior materials already! But you have to be able to produce it and make money!
This buyout being based on patent tech has not been confrimed. Its just speculation
Most Companys pay for promotions!!
Someone who can predict scams should know that LOL. Do your DD if you dont know! Stop trying to induce fear with your "gut feelings" No offense
Yeah everything is a conspiracy theory right? The CEO, CFO, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Universitiy they are in on it.
And please show the proof that it was just one student thanks
What about Poly San Luis Obispo

They can develop millions of diffrent materials that are stronger than steel and lighter than titanium. And im sure many many compianes have. But the hardest part is being able to produce that material cost efficient ways
And has Thresher done that?.... I like the odds, but only time will tell.
"Our now proven ability to manufacture these advanced materials in a cost effective and consistent manner will make our company and product very desirable to the automotive, and aviation industries," further added Mr. Flessner.

I spent almost 5 years working in a tool and die shop that made tools for the big three. The company i worked for stayed really busy even during the recession because the bottom line is who can quote the jobs the lowest!! JMO GLTA
You been posting that for weeks now. do some new DD
Patent Q's and A's resolved
"The Nautilus Core is an excellent tool that helps us reduce material costs by as much as 80% and waste by 100%. We are continuing to develop and refine this process in order to provide greater customer satisfaction, attract a broader client base and enhance our revenues. Our innovative high strength metal matrix composites, when used with the Nautilus Core, offer engineers unique capabilities and unprecedented freedom in design," stated Tom Flessner, President and CEO of Thresher Industries

That PR was released April 29, 2009. Now it seems that New Process was just recently devloped (less than a year), Now i dont know how long it usally takes to write up a patent, but im sure it takes time, especially if you are in the begining stages of that process.
So that could explain why theres no patnet yet! IMO GLTA
What attracted the buyer is some new development that happend recently! Its not Talbor, Talon, Thermalite, or whatever other little material that can be connected to Thresher some how or some way ten years ago (LOL)... All those materials have been devloped for years now and guess what since then theres better materials made by NASA, Alcoa, Dupont and other fortune 500 companys....
The money here is in the process to produce these materials! And who can produce them cheaper is what the bottom line is in manufacturing!
Thresher Industries, Inc.’s Advantageous Nautilus Core System
Monday, January 26th, 2009
Thresher Industries’ Nautilus Core System is a unique method of producing cores for use in aluminum and magnesium casting. The cores can be removed with very little effort via high pressure steam or water, is biodegradable and can be located in areas not viable for sand or foam core. Ongoing development of this process is anticipated to result in greater customer satisfaction and the ability to bring this technology to a price sensitive market place.
Thresher Industries’ Nautilus core system has been successfully used in products for Chevrolet, Chrysler, and Ford, and has proven its ability to meet the demands the golf industry in production of one piece driver heads using ThermaLite material.

It appears Thermalite is a widely used term to describe many things. But my point is the process being used might be more cost effective than in the past. according to the company's PR on FEB 24th which was before the buyout news
Maybe the reason for the buyout has nothing to do with the old materials. The new material "Thermalite", more so the speed of manufacturing/cost is what the buyer is after! JMO

Thresher Industries, Inc. (Pink Sheets: THRR), a California-based manufacturer of precision aluminum and advanced metal matrix composite parts, announced today that it has delivered, to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo material sciences department, initial samples of its latest proprietary advanced metal matrix composite [b]"ThermaLite" for inspection of dispersion of the ceramic in the base alloy. Testing includes electronic scanning microscopic evaluation to determine how well the particulates of ceramic are dispersed in the base aluminum as well as elongation, ductility and strength testing of the materials. Thresher Industries has been developing advancements in its manufacturing methods to increase both the speed of manufacturing these materials as well as to allow better grain structure for the alloy. Patent applications for these advancements require this systematic approach to material validation prior to the submission of the patent applications.

50 day MA has crossed the 200 MA
Thats always a good sign. New to this stock thinking of investing
These Buyouts take time people, Actually nothing has changed just a few people expected more out of the CC. Everything is still on track.
That makes a lot of sense chris good post
If thats true Im sure it will be addressed in the CC
Good point nupapa... This company has been very transparent even before the buyout
Dont believe what some people write on this board unless they have a good source where it came from and they state that source in the post. Most of the peps here just started following THRR when buyout news came. What they dont know is that THRR is not like most pinks. Do your DD you will find that out GLTA
