Big day tomorrow... We will succeed. Be aware of market makers playing.
We would know that. They have to make it public.
Tomorrow is a big day!
I am ready!
IMO the company is buying back their shares, which they have diluted before. Because they're still listed on pinksheets, they don't need to report that.
That's why we didn't have an update yet of the number of O/S and A/S and that's why MM are still in play big time. They are trying to keep the price down so the company can buy back the shares easily.
It's all an opinion, just like what everybody else is writing here on the message board at this time. But the difference is that I still remain optimistic and I won't sell my shares under all the subjective negativism.
I've just sent an email to www.asce.org too.
I think you are right. And hopefully they will halt the stock until a settlement is agreed, so there won't be any possible market manipulation nor inside information.
I will mail them these questions too after I received an answer from them first.
I'll let you know something from the moment I get an answer.
When the examiner will be appointed on Wednesday, then they will start talking about a settlement. IMO that could last several months, because we are talking about billions of dollars.
But that is ok for me. But it is now Susman and the EC to play hard and don't take any settlement offer.
I've heard many things. But what I know is that WAMU was worth a lot more than estimated before (which had the only goal to make the EC believe that there was no money left for sherholders) and that this true value has to be taken into account to calculate what commons should get for their shares.
I hope they will also take into account the money JPM made from WAMU's assets now that the economy is gradually getting better.
IMO
This is my email:
"Dear Sir/Mme,
I'm a shareholder of your company and I have some questions I want to ask you.
Could you please give me an update about the current number of outstanding shares?
How about the invitation by the officials of transportation in Virginia? Is there already a contract signed, or is there any progress made?
Are there any other meetings with governments or private entities going on, knowing the enormous potential of the market where mtch(e) is engaged in?
I'm looking forward to your reply,
best regards,
Alexander XXXXXXXX "

Great article. I like this part:
"Hiding value in bankruptcy is big business. In K-Mart’s (SHLD) 2002 bankruptcy, distressed security traders bought up creditor’s claims in the holding company and then underestimated the value of the company’s real estate assets. By doing so they were able to prove that the equity was “out of the money” and jettison its claims to a distribution. After the creditors reorganized the company in 2003, K-Mart sold multiple real estate holdings for their true value. Within a year K-Mart shares appreciated 250%.
In the case of Mirant’s (MIR) 2003 bankruptcy it was more of the same, except for a different ending. Creditors in the case, using Blackstone Group LP’s evaluations, initially low balled the value of the company’s electric power plants and natural gas trading contracts. Shareholders were due to be extinguished.
"Mirant's reorganization plan leaves shareholders, like me, who lost their investment, out in the cold," stated Mirant shareholder Al Kroemer during an April 2005 equity rally in front of the Texas bankruptcy court. "This is like a bank stealing your house, then selling it for half its value to a friendly 'competitor' who then resells it in the broader market for its real value and splits the profits with the bank. The rightful owners end up with nothing!" Three years later these words would seem prophetic. In September 2008, JP Morgan purchased WaMu’s $300 billion of assets for $1.9 billion from the FDIC."
Justice will prevail now!!!
We've learned out of history. Gooooooo Susman!
The problem is that I'm from Belgium and my English is not that good to understand difficult financial terms when people talk. I prefer to read it. I've sent them an email. If you want I can post this email on ihub this evening (that will be 3-4 pm in the US)
JPM is making money now, the crisis is not as bad as in 2008-2009, big companies are releasing postive q-results, Greece will be helped, etc... JPM will have enough money to go into a settlement now, without any risk. Maybe they just wanted it to last it this long, so they wouldn't risk to get in trouble.
We are nearing the right time for the right thing, with the right lawyer covered by the right reporter Kirsten Grind.
IMO
Does the IR department of matech normally answer shareholder questions sent by email? I ask this, because it's my experience that this depends from company to company and their policy.
PS You're welcome bloodhound99.
What is your point?
4,4M shares are traded according vantagewire.com
I was wrong. It is the chairman of the EC.
I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said this.
I've lost a lot of money with another bank (DEXIA) going from 20dollar/share to 1.15 dollar/share and I sold at 4 dollar/share.
I know how it feels like losing money, but now it is time for payback time and justice to all shareholders.
IMO this is a certain ++ 70-100 bagger at least. Not for tomorrow, but this year or next year.
WAMUQ!! It won't be the next 5-10 bagger, but it will be one in the future.
I thought you were going to post the other PR's.
I believe that the company is doing efforts to make contracts. These efforts will pay off IMO. It's better to get in now than to wait when the contracts come in, because then you will be much too late to get in at these "oversold" levels.
Are you going to bail out at .70? You are crazy!
I will hold till the end, things do look much better than ever before!!! Settlement will be at least 8dollar/common share IMO.
$1 Billion into Repairing State Roads and Bridges
“Alabama, like the rest of the nation, has significant infrastructural concerns and needs to begin to take serious steps to fix its ailing roads and bridges,” said Tony Cataldo, CEO of MATECH Corp. “Less than a week ago we informed our shareholders that the state of Massachusetts had devoted $3 billion to rapid its aging infrastructure. It seems clear that states are beginning to invest a significant share of the federal stimulus program into rebuilding and revitalizing their roads and bridges. We look forward to continuing to work with these states on their efforts. We are confident that such increases in bridge repair spending will translate into increased contracts using our revolutionary Electrochemical Fatigue Sensor (EFS).”

MATECH Official Meets With Virginia Department of Transportation
"Marybeth Miceli, MATECH's Chief of Operations, says, "VDOT is a progressive transportation department that supports great technologies to aid them in making better bridge management decisions. We are looking forward to working with them on their structures again."

"Economic conditions often necessitate quick sales, but protecting creditors’ and investors’ rights must also be on the mind of regulators, she said."
I like that part
Now I remember. That's just great. Thank you!
But then who was the man Susman interviewed who had only common shares of wamuq whaich was so favorable for us?
Thank you.
Correct me if I'm wrong:
-- the POR is not correct, so the EC will file the right one.
-- Rosen is Wamu's lawyer and Susman defends the EC
-- 5 May the EC will speak again and this is an important day
-- GS is in serious trouble because they have shorted the hell out of stocks, like Wamu's long beach mortgages ==> if Wamu was on the "do not short list", long beach was worth much more than anticpated... This results will not be used as evidence to upgrade Wamu's assets, but will be used as evidence to underline the importancy of "the do not short list" where they were not upon
-- Susman has only common shares (post seizure)
-- the Press is more and more covering us, and is also starting to report the wamu shareholders side of the case
-- Kirsten Grind is still alive and reporting
EVFN WAMUQ MTCHE
Again, you are guessing the number of oustanding shares.
If I say the actual number of outstanding shares is less than 100,000,000 shares due to a buyback of the company, my explanation is just as fine as yours.
Without a filing nobody knows!!!
Let's sell Goldman Sachs and use the money to :
pay wamuq commons 8dollar/share as JPM intended to do
and pay wamuq prefferds.
We should cooperate. Commons and preferred.
You guys seem to be angry that people invest in this stock.
Can I ask your position in this one?
Short/Long/No position?
Disclaimer: I have 100K shares and I am going long.
When I read the PR's and look to the market potential of this product, I say that this stock is really way too low valued at the moment.
What a lousy PR again. A partnership nothing more.
Look at their q-reports and you will see it is a scam
You call 0.005 dollar a "pump"? This stock traded above 3 dollar less than 1 year ago!!
The current PPS doesn't reflect the company's actual value. It should be at least 10x higher (above 0.05-0.06 dolar/share).
