yep, already started to make the nice move. expecting good things from this next week.
back above 1.90. should make a nice move early next week.
there's that golden cross action. easy play.
pulled out at 2.54. good luck.
need some buyers to get it past 2.50 again.
Great analysis
golden cross. looking good.
Of course it is...Do your DD
wow, just noticed this went up 200%+...
after holding for about a month, i literally looked at this in the morning when it was at .0016 and thought to myself, i think i'll take my profits now. nothing like missing out on a 200% run literally right after you sell...
touched above $2. should come back around and make a larger move above $2 now. hopefully it's tomorrow. it held half of yesterday's candle and closed green.
No, L2 is Level 2 quotes. You see the bid and ask being quoted by each market maker and how many orders they have of each in real time. You can use the free one here: http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/TDCP/quote , but it does not provide every market maker so it's not entirely accurate.
The sites you are using are only showing you the BEST ask and the BEST bid being offered so you're not seeing the full picture.
This could change just before the market opens, but right now, the spread is .039/.0395 with 1MM on each.
At .038 there are 3MMs on the bid, which signifies nice support at that level. On the ask, it's pretty thin with the next MM coming at .042, then .045 and so on. But what typically happens, is that if it hits .0395 in this case, you will see more MMs come down on the ask and it won't look so thin.
You can't read the L2s and tell what will happen for an entire day. It's more helpful moment figuring out when to buy and sell as you can better gauge where support and resistance are and whether they'll hold.
Surprised they issued a press release prior to finalizing the new CEO. I would think they would want to name the new CEO in this press release.
If you're trading penny stocks and you don't have L2, you're crazy. Make the investment. It's worth it, and even more so now that they just started showing the number of orders each MM has.
Surprised there's not more commentary on the most recent paper...I'm probably drinking the least Kool-Aid here and I thought it was pretty awesome. Wish they'd publish some more recent videos on YouTube so we could get a better idea of the "3Dness" of it all.
Newly Published: "Multi-Layer Overlay Display" was a paper written by Dr. Refai and presented at the SPIE Conference for Display Technologies and Applications for Defense, Security, and Avionics V last month.
The paper details an additional capability of CSPACE that we had not learned before (that I can recall), which is to generate three dimensional images from a series of two dimensional images -- an overlay approach. The unique properties of the display permit flexibility in generating overlaid images and tailoring the image construction to a particular application. The display allows flexibility in the number of overlay layers, thickness of individual layers, and color control of the layers without changes to the display configuration and with minimal impact on the quality of the generated image.
Some additional highlights are:
1) Displays using the overlay approach "are suitable for rendering both 2D and 3D content, including gaming, digital signage, and are particularly suitable for displaying information on mobile devices and computer displays where the physical depth of the display is a limitation for other approaches, and the inability to view the image from all directions in not a limitation."
2) The paper goes on to show example of overlaying images and provides photos. Unfortunately, given the photos are 2D and we are viewing them on a 2D display (your computer screen), I don't think the photos are as "cool" as we would hope if were actually seeing them in person in 3D.
3) The first example used in the paper is a road map of Yellowstone National Park. Two simple geometric images are placed over the road map -- a circle and a square. See photo below and bear in mind these are on different layers, so you really cannot see the "3Dness" of it given we're viewing it in 2D. If you were there in person, I imagine you would be able to actually see the different layers (or elevations).
4) The second example are individual planes and clouds. See photos below. Again, only 2D photos. These are then combined with the map (see next image below).
5) And finally the road map, planes, and clouds are all combined in a composite image. See photo below. Again, only a 2D photo, so hard to discern the different layers.
6) More than 3 layers can easily be used by activating more columns of mirrors in the DMD.
The paper notes that the photos are all in the green color which makes them difficult to discern too. It suggests that having different colors would make it easier to view and suggests how it would be done. Why there are not any photos showing the different colors, I cannot say. My understanding is they did achieve using different colors, but we have yet to see an image of multiple colors being used at the same time.
Again, if you're interested in downloading the entire paper, you can go to: http://spie.org/app/sitesearch/index.cfm?searchtext=3dicon§ion=publications
Well, as you indicated, you are viewing a 3D image in 2D. So CSPACE would be expanding upon that by allowing you to view the 3D image in 3D (as you should be viewing it) without the need for visual aids (special glasses, etc.). So if you look at the pictures posted above that I pulled from the medical paper awhile ago (i.e. the rib cage) that image is 3D in 3D if you were there in person. On here, you're obviously viewing a photo in 2D. Now, of course, they are still improving the quality of the resolution of the image as it's still a ways off from what you're currently used to viewing.
No, that's an older paper. Details and images already posted on the site on that paper.
new paper by refai published. you can find it here: http://spie.org/app/sitesearch/index.cfm?searchtext=3dicon§ion=publications
costs $18 to download. i will post a summary of it later.
you are correct about the prototype in the video -- couple generations old. but according to the pr today, the newest version is not yet built. they say they are planning to do that at helmrich and still assembling the team it sounds like.
that prototype is a couple of generations old.
Would have thought they would have all been fired by now then...
Looks like you got your wish. Can anyone give me a quick synopsis why this is tanking so badly? .03 to $30+ and now slowly down over the last year plus...?
I agree...Not sure how their financial situation suddenly turned around. They must have been diluting quite a bit. They still burn thru cash to the tune of $1.5M plus per quarter and all the new hires will not help matters. Most of the financial talk wreaks of a reverse split coming to me (higher exchange, etc.).
The 4Q meeting sounds like it is with Boeing, but I assume that means no deal with them yet and they do not meet until 4Q. Not sure who the gaming company would be nor sure why a gaming company would invest based upon the current status of the technology -- seems to be a long ways off from being used in gaming.
Tread carefully...
I do not believe the company is pursuing the entertainment avenue at the moment. If you look at their website, they erased the image of the car advertisement in Las Vegas. I think they are strictly focused on medical and avionic applications at the moment.
Yes, but you're comparing companies with actual revenues (I assume) to penny stocks with no revenue. A reverse split does not necessarily adversely affect a company with higher revenues over the long-term because the revenues will eventually justify a higher price-to-earnings ratio. You're also analyzing a time period where larger companies were battered by panic and oversold and were bound to come back unless the whole system fell apart.
A penny stock with no revenue and a reverse split is a prime candidate to be shorted. As I mentioned earlier, if the company cannot justify a value of .05 to the market, what makes it able to justify a value of .50 to the market after a 1:10 R/S?
On the daily chart, it needs to set a new high today. It has made higher lows, but needs to set a new high or the bulls probably back off.
If you are not definitive about the answer to your question and you think the stock is going somewhere long-term, my advice is to continually average down.
Not sure of your logic on that. While the price would go up, anyone holding a short position would be short less shares. Plus it would be a prime target for shorts again. If it couldn't hold its own at .05, why would it be able to do so at .50?
They don't have any money to do a share buy back, so I can almost guarantee that it will not happen. They're diluting shares because they need money, so how could they buy back shares?
Theoretically, MK could return his own shares to the treasury (I think?), but that's just not going to happen -- wouldn't make sense for him too. With a company like this, it's either going to make it or break it on the technology it develops. The most a share buy back would do is bump it a little and prolong the bleeding (a gimmick), but why would MK want to risk his equity if he truly believes they can accomplish what they set out to do?
as always andy, nice analysis. .03 didn't hold.
etmm trying to walk it down again as usual. wish the company would just issue the news so we can blow etmm out of the water and move up.
etmm and nite both on the bid at .039 now.
let's see those mid .04s!
NITE moved upon the bid to .039. there's the more support we're looking for.
etmm moved up a little on the bid to .032. let's see the spread close.
WDRP up 51% :)
yeah, quite a few shares sold short the last couple days according to finra reg sho. doesn't typically result in a short squeeze, but if it does start to make a run, it could start to squeeze etmm a little maybe.
yeah etmm still holding down the bid. need some other mms to come support.
crossed back over the 200 day MA
i think it would be difficult, but i've seen a company get slammed before and then when the flippers come in they end up bringing so much attention it runs even higher than where it sank. again, only happens once in awhile though.
well, .0345 getting hit now.
