Yes Nerd, that's what Due Diligence is all about.
Well hell Nerd...Kostro's an Investment Banker from way bacccck....where's the love? If he's serious he'd take this turd private (or better yet) buy the intangibles...cause the tangibles ain't worth squat...from the BK court of course.
Nerd...I wonder if you didn't own this stock if you would be so forgiving?
BOL
Yes, that's very touching Nerd....guess they shouldn't have paid so much for their lack of talent...or making promises to the investment community that they couldn't keep. The question we may never have answered....was there ever a plan to make good from the get go???
Nerd...the new guys aren't new...(and you know this...no pun intended)...they took the 750 large...no prob...guess the cash burn is too great for these world class telecom gurus. As to their "bonafides" same old Globetel PR machine pumping out overly promotional PRs...this time via a website (NMC).
The stock market's got their number....and the shareholders' former cash.
Moreover Nerd....hard to make headway when "coming from the top" the edict is to protect shareholder value and conserve cash. What's the best way to preserve cash...uhhhhhh...not pay da bills!! funny how this business stuff works...but we already knew that!!!
"They can't make any headway on any of their projects to bring in money"
Spot on Nerd...never could, never have....finally has caught up to them....but you should have already known that.
Risk, does this mean that GTEM.PK stiffed Dr. Alice Muntz on her consulting fees?
"There is Tim Huff, Kostro, Siegle, Altvater and a few other misc. big time holders."
Big time holders, small time operators...but you already should know that.
Wouldn't put much credence in the OTCBB to fight for your rights in the JDZ...who would enforce? You're betting that they would distribute the money to the shareholders....that's not a given IMHO.
BOL
The SEC will tell you why:
"Investors in penny stocks should be prepared for the possibility that they may lose their whole investment."
Looks like they're prepared
Perhaps Rob can tell us why Dorian Klein & Floyd Bailey no longer hang their hats at GTEM.PK. I will acknowledge that in past business lives...these guys were successful.
For those who may not know....Floyd Bailey cut his teeth @ Bain & Company....one of the true, elite strategic management consulting firms in the world. And for our Huff fans....@ Bain...you usually don't get an interview unless you have earned an MBA from a meal ticket school - Harvard, Wharton, Stanford, U. of Chicago.
No apology necessary. The moderator usually deletes my posts. Why? Because I don't buy into his ERHE dream. Which of course makes me an infidel. Our esteemed board moderator doesn't like to explore the dark side of what simply amounts to another Nigerian oil scam. I'm all for energy investing in the JDZ, just don't like the bonafides of Sir Offor.
Mide...good point...but isn't even more disturbing that the common will be wiped out entirely due to zero equity (there will be no warrants issued...nothing, nada, zilch)...but you already knew that. And if you didn't....welcome to PennyLand!!!!
Mide, I agree that most creditors dread BK....however....if they liquidate...they will take a hard look to see if any preference payments were made out 90 days prior to BK. If they did...these will become fair game. Of course your still back to ten cents on the dollar.
But Mide...why the BK talk? We've got three world class Muskateers protecting shareholder value and conserving cash. NMC is a "sure thing" and we can't even put a value on all the military applications. Personally, I think it's time to dust off the Sky Dragon and send it into battle!!!
"Not a bad week of news so far"
Gotta agree with that Mide...a company PR touting the unbelievable qualities of Hotzone, built by someone else and a lawsuit against the company building the very same thing they're pumping!!
Perhaps the Three Muskateers can get together on the 18th green next to Uli's Naples home and build a few "in-house"? Think of the cost per goods sold then...no employees to pay...no 3rd party manufacturer to pay. Just another way to increase shareholder value and conserve cash!!!
I thought the mission of this board was to talk about the JDZ...seems all the board moderator cares about is ERHE. There is a board to discuss the very questionable dealings of Offor...it's called the ERHE board.
ps The Board moderator will be in good company with lots and lots of Riverboat Gamblers.
Coast...you definitely win the car...but Nerd gets to keep all of his GTEM.PK common!
So who's the real winner?
Mide...how can you be so obtuse? LA County has filed against another deadbeat tenant ...not the first time....won't be the last. Let's move on to status of NMC. Then we can really make some Doe Rae Mi!!!
Does this mean we don't have 12,500 paying subscribers in Pachuca???
TIA
Vern....just a mere 27.5 hours ago...Hotzone was delivering crystal clear connectivity 30 clicks....or is that kilometers up the road. According to my source (Nerd) this is very beneficial to GTEM.PK world domination. So why would ULI cut his nose off to spite his face? Oh yes....the money.
BOL
"Lets move on now"....I agree...waiting patiently for an update on VOZBrazil (iLeague) and Anywhere Caller...most particularly I'm interested in each divisions contribution to EBITDA. I try to base future price expectations on FCF...so it's a bit tricky on this one.
TIA
"trying to protect shareholder value and cash" Mide, can you please provide 3rd party verification.
TIA
Thanks for posting the link to Dumas's letter....what a bad trip down memory lane that was...talk about overly promotional!!! WOW
ps It's all on Huff...after they re-state the actual revenues....you'll see that GTEM.PK is the size of a BB in a Boxcar.
Shouldn't the IRE of longs be raised by the failure of the BOD...in particular the audit committee? Where is the outcry?
It's your company...fight for your shareholder rights!
"GlobeTel is not filing bankruptcy"...this is a true statement Bleckman. Perhaps in time you will seek Chapters 11, 13, or even 7.
The question is...are there multiple parties seeking involuntary BK...which is decision that you, as the esteemed director of Investor Relations....can't do jack squat about.
Have a nice day.
Very impressive... perhaps Pachuca can become the backbone of the Superhub...lots of techno banter...but where's the money???
From the GTEM.PK Corporate Governance Section:
The Board of Directors, currently consisting of no outside directors, has determined the committee system inoperative until such time as the Board is repopulated with independent directors sufficient to staff the various committees.
Does anyone know when the "re-population" will occur?
TIA
Nerd, would you make the assumption that the distinguished corporate counselor and corporate secretary - Mssr. Jonathan D. Leinwand is currently the highest salaried GTEM.PK employee?
TIA
SAM...the really pathetic thing about Centerline....he purchased those revenue streams...talk about the bum's rush!!!
Yes sir Bob...Huff was indeed a one of a kind - paradigm shifting kinda guy! And the pride of St. Louis Community College to boot. Bleckman told me so!!!
"One thing I've noticed about so-called 'high profile' luminaries is that they are the first to bail out at any sign of trouble"
Sans Sir Christopher Meyer, His Excellancy, the distinguished Dr. Alice Muntz...and just about everybody else...?
Nerd...I wasn't aware he could "extend accountability to a few people beyond himself" thereby indemnifying himself. But then again...Lienwand is one of this country's premier corporate counselors.
Nerd, deferring to your corporate expertise....the restated / deliquent financials will have to be signed off by Khoury to comply with Sarbanes / Oxley? Talk about spreading fear!!
Thanks Nerd...this explains his ability to run the company so effectively. Good thing he doesn't have to get bogged down with the various stakeholders.
Risk...your analysis would be correct under normal ways of doing business in the USA...however...please allow our Aussie CEO (now residing in the UK) and our Polish COB (whereabouts unknown) to conduct their bill paying their way - it's a paradigm shift I realize...but perhaps someone (say Lexington) just might forget that GTEM.PK owes them a whole lotta Doe Rae Mi.
Welcome to the future Risk!!!
You're right Frank...he's nothing but a part timer giving his all to your paradigm shifting - wave of the future telecom behemoth.
ps Please give some examples of highly successful companies that were turned around by a CEO living in another country.
Nerd, being the seasoned business executive that you are; do you think the majority of Khoury's time is spent -
SEC Investigation?
Auditor Questions?
Sarbanes / Oxley Compliance?
Multiple litigation matters / Contract Defaults?
Creative Financing?
No Mas?
Blimps?
Winding down of Centerline?
Lexington?
Vendor / supplier issues?
Would he be more productive if he lived and worked in FLA?
TIA
Nerd...why the weak knees? You just told us all No Mas was worth a fortune.
I'm conflicted by your hot / cold reading of the tea leaves.
Personally Guarantee??? Gimme a break ...they have no assets....heck they told you last Friday 10 million in intangibles to be written off in addition to the other total mess.
I'll tell you this much...if they are forced into involuntary BK - the common will be wiped...no equity whatsover.
That's why I can't understand why such seasoned vets like Nerd don't sell now. Absorb the capital loss and if they really B-LIEVE...buy back in if the thing were to take off (which it won't).
Oh well...the K-Minnows are counting on lots of folks to do the wrong thing.
So someone pays ULI $45,000 and his green fees in Naples...and Bleckman goes hungry??? Ya gotta eat to PR!
