you took my idea. but then you might just be next door to me because i was thinking of hardwood suite (http://www.palms.com/accommodations/las-vegas-basketball-hardwood-suite/). it's only $25K a night. lol .who knows, maybe with that, I can get dwight howard to come too. hahah
it was dwight howard that bought them! lol! jk, i dunno
Yeah, that's where I got the success story from for my last post. Any one of those stock's stories in that list will give you the adrenaline rush
In the meantime, i might just change username to "early_retirement3" in anticipation of this life changing event
=D
Wow! check out this example, and think what opmg can become!
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=19090296
Look at the events in the timeline for 3/1/2000 and 4/11/2000.
PhoneGuard looks like it's at the "3/1" mark. The "4/11" event will be changing it's stock symbol to "PNGD" or something that is not taken yet!
I'm guessing/hoping opmg is going to break the record and take the #1 spot at the top of that list =)
Is it really a "Reverse Merger"? I guess I'm confused about all this terminology.
According to the 8K, "Illume" is merging INTO "I Acq Corp", which is a wholly owned subsidiary of OPMG. But is PhoneGuard a product of OPMG, or of I Acq Corp?
Now at http://www.tcc5.com/reverse-mergers.htm it defines:
A reverse merger is a complex method that a private company uses to become a publicly traded corporation. Reverse mergers or reverse takeovers, happen when a public company that is no longer actively involved in business and has limited assets - that's why it's called a shell company or shell corporation - joins, or merges, with a private company. The private company buys most of the outstanding shares of the shell company, gaining control and seating its own board of directors. The resulting merged business entity becomes a new operating company and may change its name to better reflect the newly merged company's business purpose.
So is Illume a private or public company? Is I Acq Corp the private company? Will the joint of these two companies become a new "PhoneGuard, Inc" and separate from OPMG?
Im confused...
It's nice to know that opmg is determined to make phoneguard a complete and comprehensively solution in one package. this is the key point/advantage to keep them on top of other competition
May '11 here too!
thats good to know, and thanks for sharing. I respect your thoughts.
we were talking about investing with $1000. however, im sure a lot of investors here have put in a lot more, and I can guess that 1/2 of us have greater than $10K invested. with $10K invested, our profits in those 2 scenarios are about $10000 and $20000 respectively. To most ppl, that chunk of extra cash is worth working hard for.
if i had a teenage son/daughter, that $20K can get him/her a used car, or even a new economical one. even with $1000, imagine how happy a family member or even a charity will be to get that as a gift from you.
in short, a few cents can go a long way if you believe your effort will pay off.
I dont have anything against buying at the ask, and if an investor does that, then good for him/her and for the pps.
But i do want to point this out:
With $1000 (and ignoring all fees), you can buy 102,040 shares @ $0.0098/BID, or you can buy 100,000 shares @ $0.01/ASK. If you buy at the ASK, you get 2040 less shares. If OPMG is way undervalued like what most investors here believe, the current PPS is going to skyrocket in the near future. If the PPS reaches $0.50/share, it means you could have made $1020 if you had bought at the BID. If the PPS reaches $1.00, you have lost out on the $2040 profit if you had bought on the BID. And so on...Now, do those amounts add up? =)
With penny stocks, it's really not so much about the time/effort you put in now, it's about the rewards you will reap later. If you don't want to spend too much time now, why would you be following and reading all the posts on this board? After all, like what some here say, trade with your gut and your own DD, not with what ppl say on this board. Along these lines, might as well spend your time watching the BID/ASK move in ticks, since board posts are useless =)
you forgot one more WIN - someone's gonna win something for opmg's next contest or sweepstakes. haha
So here are the 3 sites that we can currently see:
The "ghost" site that appeared and quickly disappeared
http://www.phoneguard.com/lp1/index.php
The current public site:
https://phoneguard.com/default.aspx
And the OPMG site:
http://www.optionsmedia.com/index.htm
Notice that the current site is a Microsoft.NET site (ASPX file extension), and the ghost site is a PHP site. I can't tell what platform was used for the OPMG site, but probably PHP since it's more legacy, I'm guessing. In most cases, switching from Linux/Apache (PHP) host servers to .NET hosting servers implies an upgrade to increase efficiency and scalability for the site. Also, such an upgrade must have required shelling out more money to purchase .NET software development tools from Microsoft as well as more expensive .NET hosting services and database requirements. Development tools for PHP stuff is free for the most part. So my point is OPMG is expecting a lot of traffic, and is strengthening their service platform to handle this influx of visitors.
And, during all this platform transitioning, we see some new designs for the site because the graphic designer(s) had nothing else to do =)
Here's a page full of PhoneGuard video segments, some I haven't seen before.
http://zomobo.net/phoneguard
Lol
darn, would have been awesome if you had shown no self-restraint. =)
I haven't seen this article and video before, and I don't remember seeing anyone here posting about this segment on The Today Show.
"
The four-minute Today Show texting and driving segment reached more than five million broadcast viewers and included a "PhoneGuard" side bar for the majority of the segment. Through this broadcast, PhoneGuard, Inc., has now entered the homes of consumers and elevated national awareness for responsible texting. The Today Show texting and driving segment is also featured online in The Today Show parenting section, reaching more than 11 million unique online visitors. The segment can be viewed at the following link http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/26184891/vp/44240337#44240337.

I found the link to it on Google, and the search result for it was dated Jan 5, 2012. Seems pretty recent, but I dunno...may be old news..

Bieber needs to take some action like how this guy did it:

Before CES, someone here said he/she asked a Cellairis sales rep at the mall if PhoneGuard was gonna be avail soon, and the rep said no because they still need to get training on the product. Has anyone followed up with Cellairis on this, or asked them recently if training has begun (or even ended)?
Even if PhoneGuard doesn't get preloaded on the RAZR MAXX tomorrow, there's always a (higher) chance it will be included as a new app in the next mobile OS update.
Oh, i was born there, but I left to the USA when I was REALLY young, so I don't know anything about how it's really like to live there. And I haven't been back there either...
But from what I heard from ppl, it's not a good idea to drive over there. There's pavement and there are some cars, but there's no lanes or really any traffic rules! LOL! People drive however they want, yield to whatever they want. hahah They share the road with other cars, mopeds, with bikes, pedestrians, animals, etc.
Phoneguard wont be of much use there. You dont even have to be texting to be distracted. All you have to do is LOOK at your handset and you'll probably hit something. haha
What? I dont think i understand the purpose of your post and question...
I dug up this same info in post #56594 but I guess no one read into it enough to actually get to it...

Jan. 24, 2012 - Jeanne Brown speaks to Madeira High School students about her daughter's death and the dangers of texting while driving.

http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20120123/NEWS0103/301230142/Parents-warn-texting-dangers
"Jeanne and Johnny Mac Brown, residents of Wellman, Texas, and founders of the Remember Alex Brown Foundation, spoke to students at Madeira High School Tuesday to show them the impact that texting and driving can have on many lives, not just one."
"The Browns asked students to sign a pledge stating they will not text and drive, and suggested possible apps for smart phones to prevent texting and driving.
PhoneGuard is an app that when the phone detects movement over 10 miles per hour, the phone receives messages but automatically sends one back stating the driver is unable to answer at the time."
good stuff, tutter. thnx
that's funny because i submitted an inquiry about phoneguard/insurance discounts through their contact us page too.
a few weeks ago, one ihub member posted a nice list (or maybe a link to an article) of anti-texting apps here. i dont have search capabilities in this forum, but someone can try to search for that posting. actually a google search shows up a lot of results for these apps (a lot of them are the same ones over and over though).
but here's one list i found.

AllState Insurance updates site with PhoneGuard info?!
Try:
http://search.allstate.com/?q=phoneguard
YESTERDAY, when I entered "phoneguard" into their search box, I got back one result, whose link takes me to their Contact Us page. I was thinking maybe they know something about it, and wants the customer to directly contact them, hence linking to the Contact Us page.
TODAY, I entered "phoneguard" again, but now got TWO results. And the 2nd link takes me to a page with a short article that mentions PhoneGuard and distracted driving. I don't know how recent this article is because there is no date reference. BUT I hoping that this means AllState is currently updating their content, and again, is going to have some ties with PhoneGuard...
Do any of you remember seeing this article before??
AllState does have a big campaign teen driver safety:
http://www.allstate.com/auto-insurance/auto-insurance-for-teens.aspx
http://www.allstateteendriver.com/parents.aspx
did anyone save the pic two weeks ago of bieber holding the phone?
Murray Insurance Services (independent) in FL posted about PhoneGuard on its FB page back in August.
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Murray-Insurance-Services-Inc/156392131041286
Scroll down the entire first screen and wait for more postings to show up on the 2nd screen. Then do a text search for "Phoneguard" and you'll find the post dated August 4, 2011 at 11:28am.
This shows that insurance ppl are aware of PhoneGuard being out there. But what is interesting to note is that that posting's title says "Murray Insurance Services, Inc. via Allstate Insurance", while all other wall posts only say "Murray Insurance Services, Inc.". I'm not too familiar with how Facebook works, but does this reference to "via Allstate Insurance" signify anything more?
AllState has a whole page for its mobile apps. PhoneGuard would be a nice addition to that list.
https://www.facebook.com/Allstate?sk=app_189945077711704
http://www.phoneguard.com/html/
that actually shows a different (older?) version of the site
"Too bad the link
http://www.phoneguard.com/html/assets/pdf/
gives me 'access denied'"
Any hackers on board that can crack into this repository? LOL!
the text of this doc sounds like it was in one of those PRs from last year.
good job digging it up from the phoneguard.com site though.
how in the world did u locate it?
try to find the next pr text on there =)
we should send this link to all the insurance companies out there

Investors should do the same thing against GOIG and Ike
Cellairis tweeted PhoneGuard on 1/20/12, but I don't really understand what the meaning of that tweet is about. (sorry, i dont really use twitter..). Can someone interpret the tweet below, and why @Phone_Guard was referenced?
"
Cellairis @Cellairis
#FF @MrCISCOADLER @okay_okay @jmccassy @ElleandBlair @Phone_Guard @erinchanted
"
Cellairis does have a wide presence. All 7 malls within 50 miles from me has a cellairis booth. One mall had a 3-aisle layout and there was a cellairis booth in EACH aisle, each within 100 yards of each other.
Developer? On the contact us page at phoneguard.com it says Troy is the retail and affiliate marketing guy...
They should show Dwight, phone in one hand and ball in the other, driving to the basket. However, in an attempt to dunk, he bumps into another defender or two on the way up, loses his balance, gets rejected by the rim in a misdunk, and crashes to the floor. After lying dazed for a second or two, he painfully lifts his head up and says "don't text and drive".
Man, sounds like something I should post to his fb. Haha!
lol, didnt see this message, but i posted the exact same sentiment
